any interest in martial, ed? would love to see him in an arsenal shirt. or even shaw?

{Ed001's Note - no, no.}

31 Mar 2017 16:15:43
Sanchez and Ozil to Bayern with Muller, Vidal and Alaba coming the other way. Wishful thinking, eh?

1.) 31 Mar 2017 16:23:10
Just a tad. We might sign a 12 million pound midfielder that no-one has ever heard of? Usually happens.

2.) 02 Apr 2017 10:04:20
Already way ahead of you, the one from Everton.

02 Jun 2016 13:47:36
Possible bad news for us as Robert Fernandez has announced at a conference today that Dani Alves has decided to leave Barcelona. Bye, Bellerin?

1.) 02 Jun 2016 21:17:17
I doubt he will go and if he does I hope we hold out for big bucks! He is a good prospect no doubt, but not a difficult position to replace.

2.) 02 Jun 2016 18:24:42
Let's hope not, for we are hoping to become a top club it would be a good start to hold onto top players.

3.) 03 Jun 2016 11:29:50
Unfortunately, this is a bit like Cesc.

It's not relaly a question of IF it will happen, but when.

Honest question: Do you think we can keep bellerin for him entire career?

Best thing we can do is extend his contract every 18 months, to keep his price as high as possible.

28 Jan 2016 23:16:50
it'll be interesting to see how city's game will change with de bruyne out for almost 3 months! it gives me a lot of confidence we will AT LEAST come 2nd. Kompany has been touch and go and we all know what aguero's like. this could really be our year.

{Ed025's Note - derby is holding a candlelight vigil for KDB if you are interested mate.. :)

1.) 29 Jan 2016 10:25:28
So you think Leicester will win the PL?

2.) 30 Jan 2016 15:29:05
"Stranger things have happened"

3.) 30 Jan 2016 19:04:53
If they deserve it mate then so be it! And as things go you have to say they deserve it! Fairy tales happen and it's a great thing for the English game for all fans to think maybe just maybe.

4.) 30 Jan 2016 21:04:44
NE you say stranger things have happened mate but when?
If Leicester were to win the premier league this season after narrowly escaping relegation last season I'd be hard pressed to think of a greater achievement in the history of the English game, if they did pull it off which I don't think they will they'd be pushing the invincibles all the way for the most outstanding achievement ever.

"Palermo's owner Maurizio Zamparini says striker Abel Hernandez, 23, wants to leave the Serie A club at the end of the season."

I recall one of the Eds saying Arsenal were interested in Hernandez. There we go then, here's our next superstar striker next season.

1.) 06 May 2014 21:27:01
I really hope so! I think this guy would be the perfect striker Wenger can get the best out of, tall, fast and strong! TH14 mould of a player! I'm not saying he will be as good as Henry, but it's the type of striker that would be perfect on the counter and for Ozil to start using that great vision of his!

Reckon this could be the start of a Leicester style anti Reniari revolution?

1.) 28 Aug 2017 16:33:58
What a shame Arsene is going to be subjected to more and more public ridicule before it all ends badly for everyone.
Should he have walked away, yes of course he should but he can't because he lives eats and breathes football he just can't make the right decision for him and the club himself.
He reminds me of an ageing singer who was once a Superstar but has now lost his voice, he can't hit the right notes and is out of tune most of the time but because he continues to play to packed audiences he thinks all is ok, despite not having a number one hit for over a decade.
" if it is my fault I'm sorry "
I find that sad to hear from him and sad to see him yet again in a position where the entire footballing world is shaking their heads at him and his decisions yet again.
Above everything else he shouldn'thave been allowed to be in this position and it looks very likely now he is going to suffer the indignity of being sacked unless someone close to him ( a true friend) can make him see sense and walk away of his own will.

just a thought, what if raver's a closet spurs player? explains the trusty subaru. oh, sorry, rusty subaru.

1.) 11 Aug 2017 16:47:37
Raver has been overheard, sobbing in the back of his Mum's rusty Subaru, complaining that his mates from Arsenal are on twice the pocket money he is on. His Mum has punished him by fining him the maximum permitted 2 weeks pocket money, costing raver £1.50. He is angling for a move to Arsenal, but winning trophies could be dangerous for his mental health As he knows the pain at Wembley just goes on. 1961 and waiting!

30 Jul 2017 13:51:05
Yes, sanchez will go, but why sell him before we get a replacement? If teams know we're desperate for a winger then it gives them the chance to drive up the price even further. We just have to wait for Your Stubbornness to sort out Lemar.

13 Jul 2017 14:07:07
Good to see Lacazette scoring on his debut for the club. Can't wait to see him play against some "proper" opposition though!

06 Jun 2017 01:19:02
"Bayern willing to listen to offers for Renato Sanches and Douglas Costa if the right bids come in"

Straight swap for Sanchez? Obviously this would be incredibly unlikely but it would be a great bit of business.

{Ed002's Note - Why would iyt be a "great bit of business" signing two players Arsenal has no interest in at all?}

1.) 06 Jun 2017 14:33:56
Not interested in but should be interested in.

Sanchez isn't going anywhere this year but if he were to leave, Renato Sanchez would be a fantastic addition to the center of the park and Douglas Costa, well. He could fit in any of the worlds top clubs so why not!

Kolasinac has been confirmed today and i reckon Mahrez and Onyenkuru will be the other 2 summer signings. Wenger stated 3 maximum and there's your 3. No proven world class striker though unfortunately.

2.) 06 Jun 2017 16:10:50
I said this mid season and got slated for it I'd be up for a swap.

I believe asano has visa issues or at least he did last season. I may be talking out of my arsenal though.

steady on olber. don't you remember the start of last season where we conceded something like 7 goals in out first 15 games or something? mustafi kos partnership can be one of the best in the league. he's only been here a year, give him more time.

I've heard the phrase "that's some nice pinball defending" when the ball was being hoofed around, battering off of defenders on the edge of the box during an American game, AJH. The mls has some truly shocking commentary. Come on g62, you're not calling messi a bad finisher are you?!

Better yet what's diaby doing with himself these days? It was like a whole new signing every time he played.

The team is capable of competing for honours. Recent signings you could consider upgrades haven't made their marks because the squad has a deep lying mentality that mediocrity is okay. Show up to training, maybe have a bit of a kick about on the weekend or midweek if they're unlucky, collect a big fat pay check.
