So I was playing golf today with a well known old boy who played in the 70s and 80s and he was saying that there is talk in the club that benzema is a definite potential permanent signing but there is also a move to get Cavani on loan which seems to suit all parties.

Khedira is being completed and he will join at the end of next week.
1.) Good. I prefer footballers to be complete before they arrive. Missing limbs is a bad sign.

According to the german press we are very keen on Borussia Monchengladbach's Max Kruse.seems to tick a few boxes
1.) He has only just joined Monchengladbach though, I see this as perhaps a stumbling block. the player may not be keen on moving twice in such a small amount of time, saying that, player loyalty is low at the moment it seams and he may be tempted to move by his fellow German gunners
2.) Heres a comparison with Suarez;
2012/13 league Kruse Suarez
Key passes 2.7 2.7
Dribbles 2.7 2.9

Passes per game 38.4 36.5
One may argue for Suarez’s 23 goals in comparison with Kruse’s 11. However, that is to be expected considering Suarez’s wasteful 6 shots-per-goal against Kruse’s 3 shots-per-goal, as well as his eight assists compared to Suarez’s five.

Ok chaps great win today but also interestingly it looks like mourniho has lost the Chelsea dressing room. which would suggest why Marin granovskaia has made initial contact with guardiola and I believe she has suggest December for him to come to Chelsea. But hey who cares we are top of the league!

Every week Chelsea make headlines for the wrong reasons even when they beat us it was controversy, I don't think this is the image Ambramovich wants for Chelsea.
I think his real dream is to be like Barcelona and Bayern Munich 1 successful 2 play great football and 3 be admired and respected by all, with mourinho he gets 1 for sure 2 occasionally but 3 is not within his make up to be able to deliver.

totally agree g62 a few managers were sacked for winning but in the wrong way. ancellotti and de matteo correct me if i'm wrong and mourinho plays uglier football than either of them. and his interviews are just embarrassing!

I know Dags and I wasn't even trying to :-) made me laugh how far back they had to go to dig some dirt on our players on field behaviour 12 years to get anything close to a Costa like regular event.
They must have hired a JCB to dig that deep where as with them a plastic spoon is more than enough.
I really don't think that's what Ambramovich wants.
People moan about city's money but Mancini and Pelgrini have represented their club brilliantly as to be fair have the board.

The German press are starting to release the following information;
1. Arsenal have made an offer of Euro 45m for Draxler to invoke the release clause in his contract
2. Arsenal negotiators are to discuss terms with the player tomorrow
3. Podolski is of to Schalke as part of the transfer
4. Draxler is reportedley very keen to sign
If we get draxler i'm giving up my dry january and sinking a pint
1.) Why would we possibly want to get rid of Podolski, but more importantly a striker. Sorry, this I dont believe
2.) A player may arrive! But none shall be allowed to leave or have any wish to do so
3.) Me thinks, you might have had a pint or two already.
4.) Well Draxler's release clause is not active until the summer, so what you're saying is highly unlikely.
I think we have a good chance of signing him in the summer, but not this Jan.

Draxler being linked with Arsenal everywhere - what a buy this would be to strengthen our left midfield / wing attacking side - we have seen Wilshere there this year but what would a specialist do to enhance our capabilities - can we get him?
1.) If you read his interviews lately, you can see that he likes Arsenal. On international duty, he says he speaks with Per and Ozil about the club and that they only have "nice things to say." Now, I'm no insider, but I'm guessing that if we were going to get him, it would be in the summer rather than January. I don't see us acquiring an outside mid/winger in January; plus, he says he doesn't want to leave in January

I live in Chelsea and all the fulham and chelsea boys are suggesting this but I would suggest we'll go a bit younger
