Went into my local ferrari dealership yesterday. He had a lovely ferrari at £1100000.
I offered him £ 75000 for it and he kicked me out but he me tinned that arsenal were looking a new transfer negotiatioaitor and I should be good at that job as they weren't very good at buying things.

I went to the same garage Belfast and the Ferrari was only worth £90000 and my mate up north offered the same. My other mate from west London went in and paid £110000 for it and he starts at Chelsea next week COYG.

2.) 27 Jun 2023 14:53:32
And one of my friends offered £80000. He got Maguire.

3.) 27 Jun 2023 15:39:03
I offered £72 000 and got a 3 wheeler VTH.

4.) 27 Jun 2023 16:44:03
Don't fib, Sus! You tried to hotwire it and take it for nothing!

5.) 27 Jun 2023 19:27:26
My mate bid 70,000 for a prototype motor with bags of potential last January but someone else bid 80,0000 so my mate bought a 20,000 motor instead.

Out on the road the 20,000 well out performed it's price tag while the 80,000 prototype motor is still to get off the owners drive way.

Turns out Jessie J was right and it's really not about the price tag.

6.) 27 Jun 2023 19:29:08
Hotwiring Sharpie ah the good old days! Nowadays just prefer a good carjacking ?? COYG Talking of which I have a lovely resprayed Porsche no plates or VIN number yours for £10000 cash - just one owner an elderly lady vicar.

7.) 27 Jun 2023 19:37:20
I offered 100,001.

8.) 27 Jun 2023 20:30:37
I’ll bite at that Sparky ? ? COYG.

9.) 27 Jun 2023 21:13:19
Unfortunately Jessie J disappeared in 2012 and now sits on panel shows. We need to move on and live or die in the epl by the bar we set and how we manage the club.

Are you playing in a stadium?
Or are you sitting in a station?
You get your picture, get to painting
Are you the guy inside the hospital
That's praying that he makes it
Or working with the surgeons and the nurses tryna save him
Are you buried in a grave?
For some pennies and a chain
A memory that fades
A picture you didn't paint
I bet them boys think I'm panicking
Pep Guardiola, G, I'm managing
Stop saying that you beef me, it's embarrassing

I’d say our Coach, Edu and Board were preying in the waiting room in the winter and haven’t figured out how to assemble a club and team that is set up to deliver.

To say money doesn’t matter - go look at Chelsea and City pre-money. Their cabinet mirrored Spurs over the last 50 years.

We need to take evaluate how we manage the windows. Anyone who says Jan was a great window has rose specs on. Sorry but we still have the same short comings in the squad and as we didn’t address we lost the league. We are still looking to address now and still fannying around like we are poor.

Act like a big club and have ambition like a big club - Trossard was a good signing but did he give us a different plan A or a plan B. Was our defence weak? Did we need to address midfield properly? Are we still there now.

We didn’t try hard enough - we could have over spent and won.

We will probably over spend now but miss our leicester opportunity season which won’t happen very often.

Go ask pros thst have played the game about timing

If we need that car and it’s a limited addition but you really really need it. buy it. It will probably cost more next year.

I don’t care about the examples of a 1m pound player turning into a great buy. Money matters and limits risk especially if you do your homework and buy what you need rather than buying just because someone is available.

10.) 27 Jun 2023 21:56:58
Hi SY, still living the dream I see mate ?.

You sound so unhappy and angry, what is it about our results and performances during the 2023/ 24 that most upset you and caused you to be most angry mate?

11.) 28 Jun 2023 07:55:55
g62, I'm obviously not Sy, but he has stated numerous times why he is upset with last season. He feels we should have strengthened in the January window. Not sure which part you're not comprehending.

12.) 28 Jun 2023 14:27:08
I can see why Sy is angry and the reason for that was a underperforming transfer window which in his opinion cost us the title. we chased a 80 mill plus winger that we didn't really need and right at the death tried to sign Caceido which was far too late in the transfer window. Areta must have had doubts about our midfield to offer the money he did so surely Caceido should have been the number 1 target in the window.
For me personally the train got derailed when Trossard who was flying got dropped for Jesus.
But I have moved on, wether we did miss a golden opportunity with utd, pool, Chelsea and the spuds misfiring, who knows.
What I do know that next season is going to answer a lot of questions.

13.) 28 Jun 2023 16:32:37
Shapie last season was the 22022/ 23 season my comment and question to SY was asking what it was about the 2023/ 24 season that was making him so upset and angry. SY quite rightly pointed out Jessie J sang price tag in 2012, which as SY so obviously points out is the past, it's gone the way of the Dodo, it ain't coming back, but if 2012 ain't coming back then neither is January 2023 . I personally am capable of fully comprehending and fully accepting those facts, anything else I've failed to grasp in your opinion Sharpie?

14.) 28 Jun 2023 20:20:32
I’m good 62 and ina perfectly good space. Good to see us stepping up and putting the money down for Rice. Great that we will have a proper leader and another young lion in the team.

Exciting to see us after the two much needed midfielders and a right back/ centre back.

Hopefully we don’t weaken ourselves by selling too many - Tierney, Partey and Granit will be a big chunk out of the squad. Hoped we would strengthen team and squad.

Not sure about the Chelsea dude we are signing - could be a plan b. A Giroud-type option. Not sure how he fits into the team as surely doesn’t have the engine to play Granit role or enough fire power to play on wing or up front on own. May be that’s the point - we switch to a 2 up front or he plays Granit role against certain teams. He has a good pass on him.

Still need a striker and keep some attacking options as next season needs to be a silverware season. The squad and what we are spending has to up the expectation. That’s good.

Glad you are well and super positive - just don’t lower your standards or raise your blinkers as we both did that at the end with Wenger ??❤️?

The lyrics were from Dave - his psychodrama is one of the best albums I’ve listened to in a long long time.

?.

15.) 28 Jun 2023 21:09:00
Hi SY mate, personally I think the club apart from the European Super league fiasco in which the Arsenal owners were definitely behind 100% and a major driving force of, have actually been doing an excellent job of backing our managers financially and have been big spenders each summer dispite the players and managers not delivering on the pitch until last season. No rose coloured glasses for me mate I am just responding to what truly is rather than winding myself up about what isn't or what the media tell me to think and feel. 2nd in the league at close of play, back in the champions league and the club bidding serious dosh for top players, for me personally I can't find anything to be unhappy about at all.

I'm really pleased your in good place mate, I genuinely am, it's just that some of your posts don't sound like you are, they do make you sound extremely unhappy and angry geezer, hence my reply. For me things are the best I can remember them both on and off the pitch for very long time so naturally I am really enjoying being an Arsenal fan again after a long time of feeling personally negative about most things going on at Arsenal.

16.) 28 Jun 2023 22:21:23
Hi, great to hear. Thanks for the concern and I understand your concern plus appreciate it. My issue is I want to win. I will say throwing it away annoyed me as did our lack of ambition in Jan. Outside of this page - I’m chilled and don’t think about it as it’s gone. Then I read some comments about us being mentally strong, a good window, a great season, Rice may opt for City because he wants medals (like that’s a bad thing ) or some post about not over paying for a car etc etc and it triggers me because it feels like we are happy always being the usher and never the groom but then kinda moan that we don’t get the same attention as the groom. Almost that we are afraid to critic the club because it means you aren’t a real fan. My issue is I go on about it too much and get frustrated the more I type.

Perfect example above - lol

Doesn’t mean I’m unhappy or in a bad spot just that I really wanted to win and we blew it. Jorginho wasn’t a good signing and no one would have wanted him yet we sign him and he’s awesome. Just like Luiz ? Now everyone wants a new midfielder ? ?

Another good example - stop typing ?

I will try to turn a new leaf - really excited about Rice ?.

17.) 29 Jun 2023 07:51:43
G62, yes, there's plenty you're failing to grasp, but I'll leave you to your passive aggressive comments that seem to want to dictate how others should feel about their football team. Have fun with that, lad.

18.) 29 Jun 2023 07:58:52
Hi SY mate, you sound good mow geezer ? I know all about the getting carried away writing bit mate, I'm definitely a struggler with this too ?

I've never bought into the idea that moaning about the club means your not a raal fan nonsense but for me if the club and team are giving everything they have to be the best they can possibly be then I find it really easy to forgive them if that everything isn't quite enough. Personally I think the club manager and players really are giving us absolutely everything right now so I am happy and will take what comes be it first second or anywhere else. No one can guarantee being the best but everyone can guarantee to do the best they possibly can ❤??.

19.) 29 Jun 2023 14:17:11
Firstly Sy post what you want when you want as should everybody. Secondly I posted some stuff about a car but it was nonsense and supposed to be banter - it didn`t travel obviously. Thirdly my only issue with your January issue is who could we have bought that would have guaranteed the title - not Mudryk or Caicedo or even both. The only player I can think may have done it - guaranteed remember - is Harry Kane. Don`t think he would come though! Fourthly we are all Gooners and it hurt everyone that we didn`t win the title - it`s just we all react differently which is great but in my book doesn`t make any opinion anymore valid than any others and people are more or less of a fan because of their opinion. I`ve let last season go and wow we are making waves in the transfer market and expect people to take the piss out of us which is much better than them laughing or ignoring us which we`ve had from other clubs for quite a few years. We are getting serious again and maybe it`s because we`ve finally come out of the financial doldrums where we had to pay yes City / Wet Spam pay for our stadium the good old fashioned way. Onwards and upwards COYG.

20.) 29 Jun 2023 20:28:42
62 - you are right. If I go back a good few years I used to think I was more annoyed than the players or cared more than them. That would get to me as that shirt is special and demands effort at a minimum. With a few exceptions - manager and team have put a shift in. May have looked like they were sleeping in the odd first half / forgot to press but on the whole they did put a shift in. Respect for that but you and I put a shift in at work - remember that.

It’s the players that weren’t on the bench to help that’s the main issue. Hopefully we don’t upgrade the two midfielders but sell the two they replace as the squad isn’t stronger. The team - yes. The squad - no.

Kinda positive.

21.) 29 Jun 2023 20:35:22
Very true Sussex but go read what people thought when I said we bottled it in Jan and agsin in the run in. Two season in a row. Or what a bang average signing Jorginho was.

Would we have gotten Caicedo if we threw the Jorginho money at it. Or the Southampton lad or the Everton beast. When Chelsea have a need to sell / buy Or sack - they do. Was Wenger ruthless in the early years? Were we ruthless getting rid of Rioch? Do City get their men? Everything has a price if you are determined. We weren’t. Trossard was a great signing.

Who needs to sell due to FFP issues - take advantage.

It’s the mentality that needs to change and we will see if that’s changed. Getting these two midfielders is a statement but selling Granit and Partey? Have we moved 170m forward

Still cautious in my book and City is a beast that will eat a cautious opponent as they did this year. Did they just drive the Rice price up for us I think so.

22.) 29 Jun 2023 21:41:03
Totally agree on Partey, he’d be a real asset! £20 mill got to keep him surely! Think Rice will improve mental side and the whole club seem to mean business but we have to walk the walk. But great fun as always to be a Gooner COYG.

There is an old Coca factory of 70 acres going cheap. Arsenal could but it.
The bottling area is big enough for the stadium.

I have travelled from Belfast for years to watch arsenal.
I have never watched a team who passed back so much. We sign good players. They have a good season. Then we put them on massive payments and they vanish. Time for this to stop. Play for your shirt.
Almeney. not good enough, belledin. rubbish. Xhaka. Crap
Lacazzette. Tries hard but no first touch. Tierney. Excellent but no one to head in your crosses.
Martinelli. Looks promising. Chambers. OK. William. Wingers aren't supposed to cross back.
Saka. Stick to the b team for a while

Have I missed anyone.

You have played two good teams and were beat by both.
Easy group and flattered to deceive.
Not tactically good enough not smart enough.
Oh dear won't have to hear we won the world cup for the next 52 years.
