Eds, Rumours about City looking to offload Nastasic. Could we be interested? he would be good back up for bfg and kos, plus he is young, and has experience in the PL, and CL.

Rat Pice

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has shown no interest.}

Reports that Arsenal has enquired about Fabio Quagliarella, any truth eds?

{Ed022's Note - I think it's purely speculation mate. Rumour has it from my West Ham source that they have agreed a fee for Quagliarella, however, they need to shift some players off their wage bill as they are completely on budget at the moment...}

Arsenal is interested in signing Bilbao midfielder Ander Hererra, says former agent, and former Monacco director Trond Kristian Karlssen.

Good creative midfielder, but it is what we need?

Rat Pice

1.) I really hope not.
The only players I'd take from the current Bilbao team are Benät and Munian.

Herrera is a good midfielder as you say.
But he's not better than Arteta, and plays a similar role.
We should use Ramsey as the Arteta role, and buy a DM.
We really, really need a defensive minded midfielder.

Why in gods name we haven't gone for Porto's Fernando, is beyond me.
His contract is almost up, and they want like £10m, from their own mouths!

Who do you think should start upfront on saturday, with lacazette being out?

Welbeck or Giroud?

Rat Pice

1.) 30 Nov 2017 18:54:33
Danny because of pace, Olly is brilliant and has some brilliant qualities but he slows everything down too much in my opinion.

2.) 30 Nov 2017 21:12:26
Always go for the form player, so olly for me.

3.) 01 Dec 2017 07:33:54
Welbz loves playing against United so him for me with super sub Giroud if we need him.

Saw a goal from Eduardo da Silva today on YouTube. What a talent he was. Really sad with that injury.

Xhaka once again. the most annoying thing is not that he lose the ball, but that he don't get up and fight.

Rat Pice

1.) 22 Oct 2017 15:35:17
It would do Arsenal and Xhaka a lot more good than harm for Arsene not to pick him again this side of December.
The lad needs to know what he's giving isn't good enough and see how he responds when his chance comes again at some point in the season.
It's sulky just to keep pretending he's good enough because the pundits and fans won't go along with it and thus will only make both Arsene and Xhaka. the centre of attention for the wrong reasons.
Do the right thing for the player the manager and most importantly the team and take him out of the situation for a bit.

2.) 23 Oct 2017 13:55:28
I think that's harsh G62. Bench him after he watched Cleverly stroke the ball in unmarked yes, but not after the "mistake" yesterday. That was as much Mets fault as his, very poor pass, and after that Xhaka had a very good game. If anyone deserves to be benched for a while its Cech. If we want a sweeper keeper, then Cech comes last in the list of premiership keepers. However i do believe the trouble will always be that playing Xhaka and Ramsey as our two central midfielders will always cost us games, as neither have a defensive bone in their body. We either need a CD (from the 3) who steps up when we have the ball to make a 3rd DM or we need to go back to 4 at the back which would allow us to play a dedicated DM behind Ramsey and Xhaka, allowing Ramsey to play more attacking and for Xhaka to concentrate on his distribution (Kongogbia would be my choice, playing brilliantly for Valencia) .

I think wenger sent wilshere out on loan only to be avle to say he's like a New signing.

Who would like us to but smalling? I think he's decent, and wenger wanted him before he went to united.

Rat Pice

1.) 12 Jun 2017 18:40:18
If we can get him for 10 mil, he can come and sit on our bench. Not what I call a commanding center back.

2.) 12 Jun 2017 20:01:59
He's bloody clueless and half the reason Mourinho was playing so defensively. He can take a seat on the bench at Bournemouth or Swansea if he's lucky.

{Ed025's Note - im with you stoner..

3.) 12 Jun 2017 20:24:06
Same here stoner I don't see nothing in him that excites me . But then again I am just a fan and not a pro.

4.) 12 Jun 2017 21:50:32
Jeez ed shut up or we will never get rid of him😂.

{Ed025's Note - sorry ken but you cant do that to arsenal mate, they have just given arsene a new contract and sanchez is heading for the door and you want them to sign smalling??...show some compassion.. :)

5.) 13 Jun 2017 18:51:25
I'd take Smalling

If he was filled with ganja and baked in a brownie.

I seem to remember that monreal at cb worked ok last time we faced Chelsea. same goes for ramsey/ xhaka in midfield.

He is really talented. Mature style of play, good vision, amazing technique and a fantastic calmness for his age. ¨

I think right now Ajax, Barcelone and Real Madrid is the three competing sides. But Arsenal should be going for him as well.

He would bring the midfield stamina and defensive quality, this guy can run forever.

Think Wenger can bring out the best in him, and hopefully he can come back to the level he was in Bordeux.

The players are very rearly informed about transfers, especialy the economic factors. so highly doubt it.

Agree. that's one of the reasons it would be a dream to have him here.

I think the ox and ramsey still can influence the team. Something they showed after the change of formation. I think both og them were impressive almost the entire run-in.

Gibbs and Theo om the other hand I can't see them having a bright future at arsenal. Kolasinac coming in will limit gibbs options. Walcott can score goals but he doesn't influence the game as much as ox.

Ã… bit ironic saying wenger fails to change when you wrote a whole post about a change he made that resulted in progress.

First of all: I totally agree with Wenger in what he communicates in this interview. Flying planes with banners reading "Wenger out" among other ways of protests does not reflect good on Arsenal Football Club. Not for the club, not for most supporters, not for current players and not for potential players.

As a star player, would you rather go to a club where the fans support you no mather what, even in a though spell? Or would you go to a club that fly plains with disrespectful banner above the stadium, game time, when you have a difficult season? I know what I would choose.

Dont get me wrong, I think posters in this forum are entitled to a meaning and I think all the posters here are criticising the club in the right way. The should definitly be able to criticise the club and the manager. But in a respectfull way. Specially when it comes to our most winning manager ever, and the manager that today could be the most winning manager in the (long) history of th FA cup. The manager that has taken us through hard economic times, securing top 4 spots and CL-football 20 years in a row!

If what we do is treat this man with disrespect the first (! ) year we drop out of top 4 I fear for what potential players, owners, sponsors and such would think of us.

Now finally, saying you would want us to lose the final today is something I would disagree with on many levels. First, if this is the last game of Wenger, winning is something I really think he deserves and would be a good way for him to go. Second, as a supporter I always hope Arsenal will win.

To wrap it up, I think it is positive that we criticise the cluv when critic is warrented. But I also think we could be better in voicing our support when support is deserved. If it is one person in this club I think deserves support it is Wenger. I would love nothing more than Wenger being able to redeem himself next season, winning the league, drop the mic and leave Arsenal on the highest of notes. How cool wouldn't that be?

Out for me. I was supporting him for big parts of the sesason. But i can't see anything change for the better under his leadership. It simply has gone too far. Players and supporters don't believe anymore.
