Low grade muscle problem, he will be back for United.

It could be anything between a lay-off of four days and four months.

Either way, the doctors probably don't have a scooby, and it'll be longer still before we fans get any inkling whatsoever.

How about people hold off on posting overly pessimistic or optimistic filler on this page and see what comes out as confirmed? Just a thought.

Totally agree glorious.

Its ridiculous how pessimistic some people are and the way they jump to conclusions.

Apart from that, I bet he's out all season :-)

Hearing he will be ok for united. Fingers crossed.

I thought he played for Arsenal.

Boom boom :-)

Not entirely sure how true but there were rumours that deschamps had players that could potentially move today have medicals last night? Besides a medical isn't a requirement for a transfer and could be completed after the deadline but obviously involves an element of risk.

Neymar also isn't 29 years old and approaching the downturn of his career.

There's almost no way I could see any club paying £80m for a player who will be 29 soon enough with only a year left of his contract. Prior to the last two years, a player of Sanchez's quality with a year left would fetch around £25-30m, however given the radical increase in figures we're seeing this season I'd say around £50-60m max would be most you'd get and that would be from a PL team.

They've already signed a RB. I'd expect that money to go on Verratti/ Coutinho and Dybala/ Dembele.

Most likely Sanchez will leave and Ozil will stay.

Whilst I've enjoyed mocking Wenger and Arsenal fans over the years for your 4th place trophy, I have to admit that I respect him for having kept Arsenal in the CL on a shoestring budget.
These last 3-4 years that you've financially been able to compete again he's made some good 'marquee' acquisitions but I believe the mentality that has developed in the intervening years has been what's hindered Arsenal from truly challenging. In order for that to be remedied a new perspective is vital.
Wenger has become accustomed to hanging onto players that should have been moved on and shoehorning players into unfavourable positions in order to make due with the players at his disposal.
What Arsenal need is a new manager to come in and offload 5-6 players and inject a new impetus and drive into the team. As a non-Arsenal fan, I'd go all out to get Sampoali or failing that Allegri to replace Wenger at the end of the season. Continuing on, with Wenger adding a couple of new players a season, unfortunately won't be catalyst to winning the PL or CL that most Arsenal fans seem to crave.

The difference between most teams and Arsenal is Arsenals requirement that players are made of glass before signing them 😜😂.

Personally RG69, I think the League cup is much better to go for than the FA cup despite the FA cup being more respected. A) The league cup rounds coincide with the early stages of the CL while the FA cup rounds coincide with the middle/ latter stages of the CL. B) The league Cup final is the first week of Feb and if you win, it provides a good boost for the CL and final months of the PL.
