Ed totally appreciate its way too early to be talking transfers. With K De Bryne out of contract and Martin under performing since becoming Vegan, Any whispers of any interest big or small in De Bryne who is apparently open to staying in the PL? He is 33 and would want a hefty Salary I imagine.

{Ed014's Note - I just can’t see that happening mate, I also don’t think he really has a lot left in the tank, injuries are an issue too, let alone, as you say, the likely size of his wages.
I hadn’t realised Odegaard had become vegan, I looked at him in the training photos yesterday and he looked so gaunt.
He looked ill to be honest.

That's what I have been thinking ED14. He seems so gaunt in the face, I was worried it could be an eating disorder .

{Ed014's Note - hopefully what ever the issue is Sally he manages to resolve it over the summer, it was a little shocking to see him looking that way.

Will any of the Eds answer this. Do we have any backup plan if we don't get Zubimuedi? Names please .
Thanks.

{Ed014's Note - sorry gora, I can’t answer that one, I’d assume, like always, we’ll have a number of targets for that role.
I don’t think we’ve actually been linked with anyone else that I can remember.
The rumours are very strong that it will be Zubimendi, much as I’d personally prefer Baliba.

Ornstein talking as if we have Zubimendi!

Ornstein normally on the money Sally.

{Ed014's Note - I was really hoping we’d go for Baleba rather than Zubimendi.
Watched Zubimendi a couple of times in European games, didn’t do a lot at all and looked very light weight.
Baleba however looks all action, much younger, prem proven and can score a goal or two.

Baleba has been fantastic, but it's Brighton, they will probably want £100 mil for him!

29 Apr 2025 10:34:33
Would the possibility of losing Baleba to the AFCON influence Arsenal do you think ed014?

{Ed014's Note - we’ve been prepared to lose Partey and Liverpool lose Salah for it so I wouldn’t really see it as a huge issue Sally.
Sorry for the late reply too, been out all day! 🤦♂️

Gyokeres talks underway apparently, good fit for us? Personally I say yes, what do you think?

I am reading about us and Gyokeres, have we dropped Sesko from potential signing?
0
11 Apr 2025 21:12:00
It is believed that Sesko if he leaves for the epl will choose Manu. Arsenal have tried to shore up leaks this year as they were disappointed last summer with how some stores got out. I do expect better relationships following negotiation this summer. which wasn't always the case with Edu.

Will any of the Eds please answer this if possible. Are we looking to sign only one forward or more?

{Ed001's Note - not sure mate, regime change has made it difficult to find out for sure much.}

I am reading that Liverpool is interested in Alvarez from Atletico, do we have any interest in him? He certainly would make a great striker and has PL experience.

I believe they were interested before he moved to Atletico, and that neither he nor his lass found much joy from living in england. I suspect it's a no.

Argentinian? She probably felt the same as Di Maria's misses
"Manchester is the WORST. Everything is horrible in Manchester. ” 😳⬇️ “We lived in Madrid and Ángel played for the best club in the world. We were good, perfect weather, great food. and suddenly this proposal from Manchester came. "

I forgot there was more! 😂
"I remember Angel coming up and saying, ‘An offer from Manchester United has come in. Maybe we will be a little more financially secure’. But we fought about it, ” she told Los Angeles de la Manana.
“I told him, not a chance, he could go on his own. ‘No, come on. Let’s go’, he replied.
“There was a lot of money involved, and afterwards, the Spanish were calling us peseteros (people only interested in money) . And they were right! If you are working for a company and the competition comes along and offers to pay you double, you take it! ”
“I didn’t want to go to Manchester because at that moment in time, I was friends with Gianinna Maradona, who was married to [Sergio] Aguero, and we flew from Madrid to his house in Manchester to pay him a visit for two or three days when Angel had a few days off at Real Madrid, ” she said.
“It was horrible! All of it was horrible, we went to the house and we were like. ‘See you later guys, we’re out of here’. When we left, I said to him, ‘Go to any country – except England’. Anyway, one year later and there we were in England and it was horrible, a sh*thole. ”
“You’re walking down the street and you don’t know if they’re going to kill you or what, ” she added. “The food’s disgusting. All the girls are all dolled up to the nines, perfectly made-up and there’s me with my hair in a bun and with no make-up on. ”.

Mitrovic was approached at the last window as a short term loan. He asked for way too much!

Andrea Berta, top candidate for sporting director, any of the Eds have any insight/ opinions on him or his potential appointment?
2
{Ed001's Note - seems like an interesting choice. Spent a long time at Atleti, where he has managed to keep them competitive with Barca and Unreal Madride, on a lesser budget. Hard to tell how much of it was him and how much was Simeone, but any guy who has managed to keep the volatile Simeone under control for 8 years has to be doing something right!}

Andrea Berta is a step in the right direction. If he gets the financial backing and players coming back from injuries Next season has to be a phenomanal season for us.
