My expectation is more attacking play and more goals.

Proper competing for title to the last week with a belief we can actually win it.

I don’t mean 2nd like the last 3 years but actually believing we could win this right till the end.

That’s exciting and at the risk of sounding negative, despite Dublin saying a similar thing, that would complete our window and make it an excellent one. It can’t be excellent without addressing the lw hole esp when buying Noni. That would be pretty awesome but also what was required if we are real.

So did you think we would win those prior 3 seasons Dublin. Coming second is not competing if it’s over come Jan or March. Not in a competitive world anyway. May be for you and hence I clarified exactly what I meant by top 2. Not negative but clearly communicating and truthful. We usually go for youth and potential or a player we think can improve in our team or under Arteta’s coaching. Gyokeres is a ready made player and one of the most sort after players in Europe- recruitment seems different under Berta.

Hey Ed, purely opinionated as the only people that would really know are those dealing directly with arsenals transfers and finances. If arsenal do complete the signing of Madueke which I don’t personally think is a bad signing, seeing as we only have 2 out n out wingers (excluding troussard) and he does play on the front foot. Will it mean end of any move for Rodrygo who is the better player?

{Ed014's Note - good question mate, I would be really surprised if we went after Rodrygo, if we do buy Noni, when a striker has to be top priority.

We’ve not bought any funds into the transfer kitty from sales yet and we have a few that need to be moved on.

That may have a bearing on any potential move for Rodrigo.

Surprising addition, but makes sense. He's highly regarded tactically (as far as I can tell? ) and is known for tough training/ tough love. Could be more in the mould of Arteta than of Cuesta, who he is apparently replacing.
