We were very good today. Hope mustafi is ok. But him going off was a blessing in disguise because we might not have seen bellerin come on and Gabriel was like a fish out of water at right back! Once moved to his natural position the game changed completely . The other obvious problem was shaquri was running Monreal ragged which ultimately led to the penalty .
But after that it was one way traffic. Once xhaka gets this madness out of his system he will be a good player. Walcott was sublime today and ozil was enjoying himself today. Sanchez was his usually industrious self and a complete menace. Iwobi showed good spells when he came on.
There was a good balance right throughout the squad and the feeling of optimism from the start when the team was put out. Great atmosphere at the emirates today and once we got the equaliser the three points looked a given. Stoke huffed and puffed at points but were ultimately played off the park.

Although we looked more balanced with Bellerin at RB, I can't say Mustafi's injury was a blessing in disguise, as we will miss him over the next month. What it clearly showed is that we need decent cover at RB. We entered the season with Debuchy and Jenkinson who had been sent out on loan last season as cover for the excellent Bellerin. Jenkinson didn't return from injury for some time and Debuchy seemed out of favour, meaning that Bellerin had to play almost every match and suffered an injury. Jenkinson wasn't good enough when he left on loan and he simply isn't good enough now. He must be moved on in the forthcoming window., ideally sold or loaned out as a second option. I would also try and move Debuchy on, as at his age he needs to play regularly in order to be at his best. We need to sign quality cover in the January window at RB and this is probably the sole first team signing we need in this window. I beleve that young Byram at West Ham would be a good signing.

I noticed that Ed002 mentioned Kieran Tierney below and he would be another good shout for cover at RB.

I've never seen anything of him mate? Is he decent . Yeah obviously mustafi injury is bad but I thought Gabriel didn't know how to go forward as was been constantly instructed to move up the wing. It was a good performance from us.
