Rumours swirling that kolo toure is going to anzhi and koscielny is seen as a replacement!! Ridiculous I know but it's good to see that he is being so highly rated.

In Arsene I Trust.

Believable8 Unbelievable16

Kolo was linked to Anzhi in the first few weeks of our transfer window, it never materialised. Anzhi bought Samba, buying another African defender would be ridiculous as the acn would take possibly both their first choice centre backs. Besides l-kos is on a long term contract I believe, we have no obligation or need to sell hin

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think there is any chance of Koscielny going to Manchester City.

There are a lot of fair weather Arsenal fans on here who might do well to appreaciate how good some of the Arsenal players really are.

Hi ed..have M.Suarez signed or is he same as polodski (ie nearly done deals but not complete )..thanks.. {Ed002's Note - No.}

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Im curious on this one Ed002, not because I don't trust you but I'm confused as to how you are adamant it's no and Javier Perez is adamant that it's yes.

What makes him wrong and you right?

This question is not intended as an insult at all as I said I'm just curious. Besides I don't rate him based on the fact that he plays in Belgium and is 23. Would love a bit of insight into the supposed deal for Holtby too.

StEvE {Ed002's Note - The simple situation is that no agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Anderlecht over Suarez and Cyterzpiler is still actively hawking the player around England and Italy. And there is no deal for Holtby yet either.}

I hope we are trying to sign Goetze, personally I prefer him to hazard - I believe hazard is fickle who would end up doing a nasri... frankly he has been like a 'tart' selling his wears...one week its us, then then the spuds, then barca, etc, etc. no thanks.

I think Goetze has more about him his temprement reminds me a little of rvp...

Think fergie was at the lyon/lille game so if utd bid which i think they will hazard will go there and thats 1 less club in for goetze so u never know

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree I think the whole idea of Hazard coming to the Emirates has turned stale.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think he is like RVP but do agree with the comment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not against the idea of having both

Agree0 Disagree0

Did we not sign a attack minded midfielder from dortmund in jan who probably is only a few years younger than goetze?

can't see us shelling out that kind of money on this kid one bit

The rvp thing is paper talk. He loves arsenal loves us the fans he wouldnt be a traitor. Wenger i believe wont sell anybody else to man city hes not that daft. Im not saying he will 100% stay but we wint sell him to our rivals. And did u not notice all this crap came about after man city said they want him its all bull crap. Read the story they have spoken to rvp but havnt had a bid accepted is that tapping up or what azda14

Rumours circling that rvp has agreed wages of £210,000 a week deal at man sh**y let's hope wingers stance of selling no more players is true.

Believable9 Unbelievable34

Hmm been reading the SUNday Times? Well expect news to the same standard of it's tawdry big brother paper then. I think it's clear RVP's heart is here, but he wants to see some ambition. Podolski is a good start, and Goetze would be a massive next
step.
Did it really benefit Thierry leaving? He went from being a God for the club he loved, to just another cog in the wheel. I am guessing RVP sees that and will stay. As for City I don't think so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely for City to offer him that would mean that Arsenal will have given them permission otherwise it would be tapping up. After what Wenger has said about keeping him I don't believe this would be the case.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really think its a crock. but if they have then its surely without arsenals permission. time to do them for tapping up and lets laugh at them with all the money but no ability to buy anyone because they have a transfer embargo.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't believe this- that's what they *may want* to offer him, but I doubt they have actually spoken to him.

rvp heart is very much with arsenal- IF arsenal have to sell, which I also doubt anyway, it would be to an overseas club.

I think this is more about what sh*teh will tempt rvp with, but that's as far as it goes.

Agree0 Disagree0

For me the only way i would ever let rvp leave would be a swap for benzema/higuain with real or pato swap with ac, never let him go to another prem team

Agree0 Disagree0

When is the fair play thing gonna kick in city and chelsea have made 200m losses
arsenal newcastle and dare I say it spurs should not have to worry about these badly run clubs stealing their players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id except 10 mill plus tevez but i really hope rvp stays and we build on wat weve improved on this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Mancini said on friday he thinks rvp will sign on again with us then on sunday an english reporter from an abu dhabi newspaper says rvp with over a year to go before any team outside england can officially speak with him that an english team owned by the richest people in abu dhabi that he will sign for 210,000 per week.
does not compute

Agree0 Disagree0

In my eyes only one player in recent times has bettered himself after leaving us and that's Cesc....and maybe Titi, but both left for barca sides on the cusp of glory, RVP knows this, he also knows he's not getting any younger, and that we stick by him even when his hometown team said he was trouble. I just can't see RVP leaving, that's not a rose tint, that's just my gut instinct, and as for £210k, the papers are idiots, that'd make him second only to tevez in the city payroll and if you think city stars like silva/ yaya or aguero will have be happy am with that then more fool you, bottom line Poldi(if he comes.....he will come! ((Pma)) ) is a backup/foil/strike partner to our dutch dynamo. Not a replacement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think it is clear that RVP's heart is NOT with Arsenal.

That is the problem.

His head has been turned.

It happened with Veira, Henry, Fabregas and Nasri.

Need to face facts - RVP will leave in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Who ever said rvps heart is NOT with arsenal is a clown
