Hi Ed,

I ask the same question all the time, so I won'T feel slighted if you don'T answer.

There are rumours now about Ozil signing (for 300k, which is absurd) . What, if any, impact will that have on Jack's future? Does he still have a future with the club? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - The club would like him to resign and it is unrelated to Wilshere Alex. Real Betis and Fenerbahce (who have four PL players on their hit list) will offer Wilshere options.}

More rumours from low grade newspapers that N'Zonzi is on his way to us in January. This is just the type of signing that would be good for us, as I have stated on many occassions. Do the Ed's have any info on whether this is true?
I have a feeling that it is good to have Law departing and the new guy coming in, as since Dein left we haven't been great in the signings and contracts department.

{Ed002's Note - I can confirm that the clubs have discused the player and that it can certainly go ahead in January. What I cannot agree is the price quoted by another poster. There has been a flurry of activity since last Friday and there have been several clubs also trying to discuss deals in Geneva on Sunday, in Nyon yesterday and today down in Monaco after a poorly attended meeting this morning. Right now, if Arsenal offer the player the chance to live in London and a decent financial package, then assumingSevilla are financially satisfied then I think it can be closed out quickly. There is a slight hesitation over money as Sevilla set a price that includes a payment they won't receive - the player will. If Arsenal look to negotiate Sevilla will want the player to sign an agreement recuing or removing the fee due to him. To the best of my knowledge that has not happened, and typically Arsenal are not a club to simply pay the full asking price.}

Going after nzonzi shows where our ambitions lie and that is finishing top four, not challenging for the title. It wouldn't be a progressive signing, just another stop gap. Now goretska would be. Nzonzi is a journey man pro and that's all. The only slight plus would be not seeing zhaka in an arsenal shirt but the only minus would be him and xhaka together. Dread the thought. I hope it doest materialise and we go for better and younger. We were linked when he was 7 mil and he was deemed not good enough then.

For once I agree with Steve he is nowhere near good enough for arsenal, we need much better he was awful in the prem when he was here.

{Ed002's Note - Gretzka would need a lot of persuading that Arsenal is a better option than others he will have.}

{Ed002's Note - No. The discussions were with another English side.}

Reports in the press today that Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £35m with N'zonzi, is there actual truth to this Ed's? Much thanks as always.

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal have been speaking with Sevilla about Steven N'Zonzi but I am not aware of an agreement at the figure you quote. There is no reason something cannot be done however.}

Cheers ed, would certainly be someone to beef up our midfield.

I thought it was odd that he was in London and that he was not included in the squad for the last European match.
Would be an awesome signing, just the sort of player we have been crying out for. I would like to see us try and sign Fellaini to play alongside him. I am not a fan of playing smaller, technical, attacking players in deep defensive midfield roles in the current formation.

I would actually like Fellaini in the midfield. Never really considered him before, but a bit of size and aggression is just what we need. With some consistent game time he was becoming influential at United. He would likely get the same with us. i'm game.

Fellaini would be great for us, just what we need, a battering ram.
