Dear edd
I heard that we are looking at Ezequiel Lavezzi from PSG
Do you have any news on this? {Ed002's Note - Somebody is pulling your leg.}
We need a DM - not another midfield ball player.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for keeping us posted for most of the things happening in AFC. My question would not be for this transfer window, but are we keeping an eye on Ayew brothers from OM? Did we ever make any enquiry for any of them?
Thanks,
man1ac {Ed002's Note - I don't recall any interest from Arsenal - I would need to check.}

Heard from a someone close to the club that although not much business will be done there will be one deal and that is James Morison from WBA, right out of the blue! Wenger is keen to push Theo into a central role from now on and has not been happy with the wide options at his disposal. Morison has a quality final ball and this will also continue the theme of adding British talent to our squad
More chance of landing James Morison the soul singer.
At least we would have a decent song for the FA cup if we make the final

I know this may sound off the cuff, but wenger to make bid for el shaarawy. Ac look reluctant but he will be Colney bound in January if wenger can get right price. If not he will sign in summer. Expect record breaking price though. (Arsenal record not world record)
EC gunner. {Ed002's Note - They have no intention of selling.}

M'vila for £8.3m
QPR failed with a £7.3m bid rennes said they would not sell for less than £8.3m surely its worth it even 12m would be £8.5m would be a steal 8.3 even better
Think about it if he is really available for that cheap and is that good why are only QPR looking at him?
Who says his any better than Coquelin
Wenger would probably offer 7.2m.
At that price this is a bargain... Lets get him... We need someone who can tackle in the midfield... And aw only focused on offensive midfield one... M vila is young and can bring a lot...
"who says his any better than coquelin" - mostly Didier Deschamps mate

Just thinking...
Brede Hangeland is out of contract at the end of the season
Doesn't seem to keen to sign a contract extension
We need an experienced defender and and a beast
He's exactly that
Y don't we try to sign him you never know...
Said that last time him or shawcross would be much better than mertesacker
Hangeland has signed a new contract with Fulham.......stop looking at you manager-game for stats about players.
Norwegian Gunner
No he hasnt
I don't think he has renewed, Fulham tried to get him to sign last summer but he didn't
I'd take him, solid and reliable

Does anyone else think we lost out big time on Berbatov, when we sold RVP we should have got berbatov, confident infront of goal, great penatlty taker, just what we need to teach walcott
Agree- been saying for some years that he's the biggest nuisance of a forward who plays against us for any team.... very much like ibrahimovic
yorkie gooner
Wouldnt want berbatov. ex-spurs, very very tough character, branded lazy by some + was a big risk at the time after a year spend on united's bench + would probably be branded as "united reject" by most (and can you really imagine swapping our best striker for 4th best united's striker at the time?). just was not going to happen
Penatity's ...... Hmmmm sounds very
exciting.
But he's also lazy, slow and cocky...
Great pen taker doesn't make him good, berbatov does have so much quality, pick a pass out can head a ball his ouch is class
Because of wages
If Fulham can afford him with wages surely we can

Just thinking about some players with rather good goal ratio, and could be good buys for Arsenal.
Henrik Mkhitaryan, Armenian playing for Shakhtar Donetsk. Soon 24 years old, and scored 20 goals in 26 matches this season. Shaktar is a rather good club.
Philipp Hosiner, Austrian playing for Austria Wien. 23 years old, scoring 21 goals this season. Rather poor league.
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, Italian playing for AS Roma. 27 years old, scoring 10 goals this season. Playing at highest level, for a big club.
All these players could be great for Arsenal, but I would prefer Mkhitaryan or Osvaldo, over Hosiner.
Norwegian Gunner
Henrik would be amazing.
Yeah but the ukrainian league is very poor
Osvaldo would be a amazing signing can't see wenger going for hi though

Great work eds. Posting after a while. Ed do you still think arsenal will sign any players and what you suspect which players will be signed? {Ed002's Note - I do and I expect Walcott to sign, a forward and possibly a midfield player.}
Thanks ED
We don't need walcott one good game a year is no good to us.
Hmmm, walcott is our top goal scorer this season. Of course we ned him.
Ed is very positive... he surely isn't a Gooner.
Looking at our team and assessing what's missing is stupidly logical and something that fans have been doing for a good five years now... some of us have learnt better. Wenger just doesn't do logical.
Anyway, I hope you're right Ed. I couldn't hope for anything better than Sissoko/Wanyama/M'Vila (in that order) and Lopez/Negredo. One DM, one ST, and I'm happy.
... expecting nothing more than a Walcott contract extension though!

Ed do you still think wenger will sign any players before 31st january and what you suspect who will come? {Ed002's Note - I do and I expect Walcott to sign, a forward and possibly a midfield player.}
