Ed, is there any interest in Thomas Ince? His contract expires in the summer, and he has 17 goals and 10 assists in 34 games. Could be a good back up, and an investment for the future. {Ed003's Note - not that I know of,18 goals btw,B'pool hold a 12 month option on him aswell,I'm sure he would love a move to you afterall he is an Arsenal fan}

Anyone else think that these players are just being rested knowing that we will not get a positive result tonight? It would be typical Wenger as this will give him a ready made excuse if we get thrashed tonight.

What was sounding a 3-0 loss will surely be a 7-0 now.

Arsenal.com has just posted that wilshere is out for up to 3 weeks so he misses the england games as well (could be a blessing in disguise for the run in)
Nothing about Podolski, but gibbs is back and Diaby is due a test but sagna is definately out.

How convenient, just when England matches come along, JW is injured. Don't get me wrong I would rather JW be saved for Arsenal, but there is no co-incidence that he will miss Swansea and Reading and will then be ready for the run-in - did anyone see him get injured against Spurs? Wenger should have spent some of the 120M in January so that we would have decent back up players instead of the crocks Diaby and Coquelin.

Jack Wilshere and Lukas Podolski both with ankle injuries are left out of game. Szczesny has been left out of the squad (been rested!). So that's our engine in midfield, our CL top scorer and our GK all out of the game. not looking good to even do ourselves proud, getting a hammering on Wednesday will surely have a ripple effect for our next games.

As rubbish as this news is, remember Bayern are also missing Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Robben and Boateng so who knows? I still think that anything is possible right now.

This is an absolute disgrace. Whilst we all know that there is no chance of turning this round, to "rest" players basically is putting 2 fingers up at the fans who are travelling to Germany. The club should be ashamed and the sooner the board and manager go, the better. Angry Gooner.

It get's worse - the clown hs now come out on Sky and said that he has believe and we have a chance - person, if he really thinks that then why rest players and make up mysterious injuries as an excuse to leave key players out.
