Defiantly no to rui patricio. come on we need a solid goal keeper that has played in the Premiership Mingolet or Begovic not another untested keeper.

As for McCarthy I like him as a player but where do we put him he is quite similar to Ramsey an out and out defensive midfielder is needed i. e. Wanyama

Agree1 Disagree0

No thanks, is that what our season ticket money buys nowadays!

Agree1 Disagree0

So you wouldn't take Adler or Casiliias?

I'm not saying Casilias will come but your saying you want tried and tested GK in the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

Casilias would be ok and has played at a very high level for a long time but the Premership is such a different league especially for goal keepers. He is not the tallest look at the problems De Gea had at Utd with roughly half the teams in the Prem playing long ball he could struggle I would take Begovic could be a bit pricy but would be worth it

Agree0 Disagree0

How is James McCarthy any better than Aaron Ramsey? We seem to be underrating own on this one. Ramsey has had an excellent end to the season, as evidenced by last night's game against Wigan.

So if you were to believe the media

Arsenal have already secured the signings of Gonzalo higuain, Ashley Williams and Stevan Jovetic.
They are close to signing Rui Patricio and Maxime gonalons.
If something sounds to good to be true it probably is.

Im happy with these. Rather have Cesc than Higuain, but Higuain is a great player despite what I think about him. Really still hoping to hear something about villa or cesc, but if we did get all of these players, looks like we have covered our 70 mil war chest, in a way.

Don't know anything about gonalons or Rui. So not going to comment.

Those 5 signings would be ideal but i'm with you on this one, sounds too good to be true.

I know a guy who works for the spanish media and he confirmed that Higuian is one of the few spanish strikers arsenal have enquired about. The other two are Negredo from Sevilla and of course David Villa. The chairman of madrid has apparently offered Higuian to Arsenal, Tottenham and german clubs but the player himself wants to play in england. Apparently this is due to him being good friends with Aguero and Zabaleta who have encouraged him. Hopefully we manage to sign him would be much better than negredo and in my opinion Villa aswell.

He will probably replace dzeko at man city. makes sense doesn't it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Higuain is argentine

Agree1 Disagree1

Sorry meant Spanish league not nationality

Also think man city will replace dzeko with cavani who wants to move and Napoli are sure to be interested on dzeko

Enquiry does not mean sign though: nothing certain about Higuain.

This deal is 100% not a done deal especially if arsenal fail to qualify for the champions league.

This is from Portuguese publication 'A Bola', apparently we offered 10m euros, Sporting want 15m. No idea if they're a reliable source but would be good signing.
