Miracle we aren't 2 nil down after 15 mins, what a fecking disgrace. Gibbs, Song and Sagna having the worst games ever.

Believable8 Unbelievable34

I think them 3 have been okay. Koscielny is a f******* liability though! Sell him! And djorou. Both w***

Agree0 Disagree0

Em im pretty sure that song is playing incredibly and that sagna clearded the dortmund strikers shot of the line when he had rounded sczeny... so have a think about what you just said

Agree0 Disagree0

Well aren't you looking stupid now?

Agree0 Disagree0

If koscienly was nt playing it might of been another 8-2 mertesacker was way of the pace

Agree0 Disagree0

We were absolutely disgraceful for the first 20 mins, seriously. You live in cuckoo land if, by the time I had written that, at 16mins, you were happy with the performance. Mental.

Sagna did clear off the line, but why the hell was it there in the first place? Gibbs not doing well, nobody was making themselves available to him when he had throw-ins, I saw Song lose the ball about 4 times in 5 mins, the only people on the pitch making a real effort were Arteta and Gervinho. I literally had to turn it off after seeing them through on goal or almost, 3 times, maybe 4.

Thank god we got better after that.

Agree0 Disagree0

P.s. I clearly say after 16 mins. Not the entire game. I turned it off because it was too intense. If Song had a good game after that that is great, I was leaving an update on the site for those not watching....I was going to continue that but like I say, I turned it off. I didn't see either goal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mertersacker is never with the pace of the game because he has no "pace" himself.

When TV5 returns I want him and Kos to play together.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought Kos had a great game for us tonight, really impressed, especially second half.

Agree0 Disagree0

Koscielny was so much better than mertescaker, gervinho lost the ball more times than i can remember and why are you being so critical of a 16 minute period in a game against the champions of germany in their home ground with a new team playing together. there was more changes in the team this season than wenger has probably done in the last 2 or 3 windows in total and it makes me laugh that you think the best thing to do isn go on a site like this and slate the team after less than quarter of a match against a team that doesnt get the credit they deserve and accuse the team you are supposed to be supportive of being a disgrace. and by the way my main team is newcastle and i was still supportive of them after they got relegated so stop the whinging please and support the team or just do one

Agree0 Disagree0

Err yeah I always turn off supporting my team when we're under early pressure because its too "intense" too... hmm. Song and Kozza were immense this evening.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever posted this is a disaster of a sportsfan and apparently a member of the British National Party. Song was our saving grace tonight and Sanga/Gibbs did great things more than once.

Agree0 Disagree0

For all those posting negative comments on the team...WHAT GAME WERE YOU WATCHING! Song was absolutely immense and saved us so many times. Sagna was fantastic and the rest did well.
Remember, We went away to Dortmund..a really hard place to play and showed some real raw physical ability, throwing bodies at the ball in front of goal and defending we have not seen from arsenal the past few seasons. I think it is hugely positive and we can now build on that through to midfield and attack.

We were unlucky but to be honest Dortmund who were brilliant deserved a point as they were fast, ferocious and always attacking minded.

We done good. Be realistic and happy you moaners.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think I am starting to hate Arsenal fans more than Man U or Spurs fans, really. Never before have I been a website full of such aggro tossers. I turned the game off because I watched avidly for the first 20 mins, whilst trying to have dinner with company, and I see Dortmund go through on goal. Then again. Then Sagna takes a throw in and nearly gives it straight to Kagawa or someone, if it weren't Kos running out to get it. Then they're through on goal again. Then they're though AGAIN but it's offside.

For some reason I have a weird jinx where if I watch the game, something goes wrong (feel free to laugh), and it looked 100% like that was what was happening. The first 20 mins were utterly disgraceful and any of you saying otherwise are mental. When it gets to the point where it is just stressing me out, which it does occasionally, and it makes me bad company, I turn it off. Because I know while I'm not looking, the boys will be ok. This happens all the time with me and I have never known why - Barca 1 nil down, I turn it off, we win the game. I missed our 4 goals against Newc last season, I turn it on, they put 4 past us. This happens to me a HUGE amount, it is actually really really freaky, and lasnite i just thought 'screw this', and turned it off. What happens? We get better, and at half time we're 1 up. Bonus.

After 80 mins I put it back on, we're still 1 up. Bonus. I keep watching. And watch us being pegged back. Then they score, and it's a draw. Typical Arsenal experience for me. This may sound mental to you lot but it is the truth. So don't try and call me out being some kind of fan because actually I am almost too into it for my own good, and those first 10 mins were a nightmare for me.

I am not going to sit here and say 'wow, you guys weren't that bothered that we could have been 4 nil down after 20 mins and you're actually happy with a draw and a squandered lead, what crap fans' like you presumably would to me. I have standards for this team, and whilst some of you are happy they have slipped so badly in the last 2 seasons, I am NOT - we all support the team in our own way so get off my back and stop judging people, you lot are an embarrassment to call your own fans out like that. FACT: The team was a disgrace for those first 20 mins. I am glad we pulled it together a bit. The last 10 mins was dire too IMO.

Positives to take from the game from what I have heard and seen recently: we are getting our fight back, maybe. Last season this could have been a very different result, but we scrapped out a 1-1 draw so that is a step in the right direction. Spirit is growing.

Negatives: we are light years away from the standard I expect us to be at.

Negative: some fans do not seem to be moved by that. That worries me.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we defended well but gave the ball away too much. koscielny the main culprit trying to pass it out of defense when he should be clearing it from danger. i think he's got potential but needs to keep his focus more during the whole game. his awareness can be so poor at times. mertesacker did what he does well - raising to head the ball clear and tracking defenders. a few more games and confidence back in the team and i think we'll start flying again. hope theres not much upset between the new players coming in and the likes of v.persie etc. seemed to get glitches of that last night, you could tell there not gelling too well just yet. thought frimpong played well again - that guys got a good future and song was the best player on the pitch for me - the amount he defended and won the ball back was incredible.

bring on blackburn at the weekend! i think Wenger will play Park on tuesday and ryo - should be an interesting game!

COYG!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who thinks he has an effect on Arsenal results because he does/doesn't watch it, get a grip! It's football, things happen like the 4-4 with newcastle and winning against barca after being 1-0 down, thats why we love it and sometimes hate it because it's unpredictable (most of the time) and exciting. You are a disgrace to football fans, not those calling you out. And to say we were a disgrace when we were playing the German champions in their own back yard with an Arsenal team low on confidence and with new players, you really need to take a look at yourself..

Agree0 Disagree0

Again, I didn't say I affect Arsenal games did I. I knew there' be one person waiting to pull me apart on that. It is just luck of the draw and pure coincidence, don't be such a pedantic tosser. It just happens with me all the time, I don't know why. We all support the team in our own way, and I will continue to do so, but you, sire can just f*** off, because turning on a fan is not right, and I have explained enough times now why we were pants and why I turned it off, I don't need a lecture from you do I? Sorry I forgot, this isnt spurs, everton, chelsea, Man U, this is Arsenal, where even Arsenal fans like to slate Arsenal fans - pathetic. Before I joined this site I thought we all banded together, now I know why other people take the piss out of Arsenal fans, because most are a bunch of jokers. You would never get Liverpool fans getting this stick from their fellow fans. Never. They would just accept that one fan maybe feels differently to them.

IT IS A FACT WE WERE DIABOLICAL at the start of the game. Fact. Not maybe. How can you be happy they had 4 clear cut chances to score? Credit where it's due, we got back into the game and we led for a lot of it and I am chuffed about that, but I was shocked at how badly we started. I am glad we got back into the game and from what I've heard Song was excellent. I just can't wait til Wilshere is back, and I still don't understand why we didn't bring Park on. At this point just accept that I have a different take from you.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who wrote his epic monologue about bringing bad luck to arsenal when watching - please stop watching if you're bad luck lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I was sitting in my lucky chair.

Agree0 Disagree0

The same thing happens to me...I m thinking that if werent watching game things would be good for the team... same thing (newcastle -arsenal 4:4).. then i think again it's not becaouse of me watching our lads it was diabys red card, it was their crowd, it was their ground, it was their team spirit, it was the ugly kid joey....truth

Could somebody tell me the team thats out against Borussia Dortmunt please?

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Looks like a bunch of non aggressive women out there if you ask me, no grit, physicallity, are afraid to go into a challenge....hopefully we will but some real men in january and this group of vaginas can sit on the bench

MMM signs Sochaux contract extension until 2015.

No jan signing of him then.

Believable7 Unbelievable15

Since when has "contract" ever stopped a player moving? Not suggesting this strengthens our chances of signing him!ut it doesn't rule it out either. Anyway, we'll not buy hime: it's too openly discussed, too well known about now. Not exactly Arsene's way

Agree0 Disagree0

0% chance of him coming. If Arsenal sign anyone in January, 75% sure it will be a player totally unmentioned on this site.

Agree0 Disagree0

If a player signs a contract extension, that usually means he'll be on his way soon. All the extension does is increase the transfer fee for the player when he is sold.
Braintreegooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparantely there is a clause in his contract allowing him to leave in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah that's the crazy thing about football, I completely understand why people would say that, and I often think that too. Who knows what will happen. Maybe it's because I doubt we will sign anyone that I doubt we will sign MMM.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason he has signed an extension is so that it can include a release clause thought to be around 20million. but dont expect it to be a january signing. If anything he will replace benyoun after his loan spell.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has a clause in his new contract stating that he can leave next summer if he asks to do so but there is no word of a fee so he still could be too highly priced

anyone know of the chances, nothing to do with the score to dortmund,of signing mario goezte in jan?or maybe next season.

Believable2 Unbelievable13

I doubt it's about chance mate, more about will we pay or not? We have 100% chance if we pay, and if he decides to come to us then our 'chance' is validated. But there is also a 100% risk that he won't want to, or we won't pay the fee, or we won't meet his wage demands even if we did meet his fee, which in Jan will probably be about 50m. If there is no chance of meeting one of those requirements, either from us or him, then there is 0% chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we really bid 35 mill it wasnt from Wenger thats for sure. think he is gone after this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be cup tied..so I very much doubt that we will pay up what BD ask of him which possibly will be more than what lille will want for hazard. It'll possibly depend on how we'll be doing come the window imo

Agree0 Disagree0

Thing is, a fee of that amount is not going to be paid for a player who hasn't played champs league. Torres should be champs league by anyone's standards, and Carroll sale was farcical, so don't mention them, but at any rate he would only be tied for this season and would still be worth every penny. IMO not buying a player like him (quality and age) because they're cup tied for 6 months really does prove the point that we lack ambition. An ambitious club would get the target in no matter what and ride the storm that is the cup-tie.

Agree0 Disagree0

The real Goetze bid was 25m euros (£21m) according to Duncan Castles and Honigstein. Arsenal of course stand a chance of signing him because they have made a move for him recently, but his preference is Real Madrid, Barcelona or United. Plus Arsenal would need to increase their first offer considerably and we know AW's track record. As well as United's & Arsenal's interest, Inter Milan, Bayern & AS Roma were all interested parties too. A lot will depend on what happens with Sneijder to whether Inter go for him or not. AS Roma have signed Pjanic instead and Arsenal have signed Arteta instead, but Arteta being 29 and only costing £10m could be a future back-up player to Goetze? I think United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern will be the front runners. I think Arsenal will be the least favourites to sign him. With United and Real hot favourites.

Agree0 Disagree0

Götze himself said his favoured teams besides BVB are AFC and Barca, fact. Kicker a well known german sports magazine said it was indeed 40 mill we offered. Board also said there are still 50 mill available to spend. Doubt it was Wenger who said we should bid that much. But the bid was for real and not only 21 m as the poster above said!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We bid 40m and they turned it down? or we just couldn't agree terms?

Agree0 Disagree0

They wouldnt have let him go for 60 mill it seems and you could see why. We are going backwards from now on it seems :-(. Thx to our deluded manager and fukking useless board.
