The reason Schwarzer WONT be coming to the Emirates is because Arsenal haven't placed a renewed bid for him since the last bid in May was rejected! Read the papers fool. . .Hughes has confirmed this! Schwarzer may want an Arsenal move, but NOTHING out of our camp says we are going to sign him. . .NOTHING! Wenger danced away from the question about Schwarzer yesterday in his press conf. Maybe not Neuer or Lloris. . but not Schwarzer either.

Hey Guys,
Now let me break it down for you guys.
Arsene Wenger has just signed an extension to his contract.

He has highlighted his only aim for this season is THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

No.1 on his priority list is a keeper trust me by next week we'll have a new keeper.

Now it's either Schwarzer or Shay Given.

Given and Schwarzer both want to leave their clubs because well Schwarzer is old and it's his only chance to play in the Champions League, he claims it's his dream move.

Given is a star and won't sit on the bench for City and will prefer to move anywhere he gets to play and win! Celtic is also bidding for the Irish.

There is now a huge "?" for defenders, There'll be more news I hope after the defender is signed.

Looks like wenger won't sign hart or given even shwartser looks like a doubt to be honest. wenger mite re-ignite his intrest in guilermo ochoa or diego alves. and for the defenders wenger will defnitly sign a cb but it will be someone unkown

I Don't think wenger is still interested in a goalkeeper, Wenger is a manager who likes to keep things ungerground

Judging by his reply we are not signing a midfielder(defensive) and he said we are not replacing "Eduardo", so no striker but he says:we need not want a centre back and he was quick to add number wise, meaning we are definitely getting a defender(number wise i say- spahic or subotic) but montepillar claim spahic is worth three times more than koscienly. if you recall this statement came after the player himself claim arsenal were in negotiation, what it means is that arsene wanted him but they wanted more than he was ready to pay. (and arsene sees him as a back up, bcos he said after last season we will try to wrap up all deals as quickly as possible-koscienly nd chamakh)He hoped gallas or campbell would stay. but they both left, so he has to buy to fill up th number.
I also bliv that wenger wants Schwarzer but fulham wouldn't sell and he wants a keeper to solve the problem short term as he is confident fabianski has what it takes to be NO 1. to back this claim:

judging by this comment Wojciech Szczesny will most definitely go on loan. fabianski is wenger's choice for the NO 1 Spot this season(but i hope after the game he changed his mind) cos he said he has "another" oppurtunity to show he can play NO 1 and not to show he can be a top goalkeeper.

Wenger will buy a defender, and may be Schwarzer(if available) if he signs Schwarzer then almunia or fabianski will be sold not both. cos if Schwarzer injures one of them will be needed as szczesny is not experienced enough.
