Chelsea wont let Torres go to another English side. If he goes Malaga are most likely.
Rosicky might go to Wolfsburg. We could get Granero/Biglia and we might get Podolski as well. Tevez will go to Milan and Utd will sign another midfielder. Chelsea will do business as well.

Believable16 Unbelievable11

When you lot will ever learn. Granero wont move to us. He is sh.. dont want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll take the other young spanish real madrid player thanks... he goes by the name of Canales

Rosicky to wherever for 7m+ would be quite nice

News reports have come out today quoting Podolski as saying if he leaves F.C. Koln his only destination is England. Couple this with his recent public admiration of Arsenal, and I think we are looking at our January signing.

Believable14 Unbelievable11

Think so...

Ben

Agree0 Disagree0

He aint all that great i think..he didnt do to well the last time he was a t a big club...

jay

Agree0 Disagree0

Nor did Scott parker when he was at chelsea before. Now he's quality (as much at it hurts me to say it)

Agree0 Disagree0

His record for Germany is one in 2, his recent club record is incredible... Good point above, sometimes players move to big clubs too early.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeahh He Was 21 When He Moved They Probably Didn't Handle His Age Well.

I think we need to put things in to perspective : we lost 8 - 1 to Man u and Man u lost to Man city 5 - 1 ... :/

Believable5 Unbelievable25

Different squad to what we had when we played Man U.
Our current form suggests we'll give Man $*itty a pretty good match, or even beat them

COYG
PdotY

Agree0 Disagree0

Huh... it 8-2 and 6-1... and it was our reserve team that played, and we still created enough chances to score atleast 5 goals

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah yeah yeah do you suffer from memory loss. what was happening and had just happened to the team and the club around that time. narsi and cesc were awol to other teams and replacements didnt have time to jell as they say. after the team got time now look at us from 16th to fifth / fouth place. in arsene i deffo trust.hate stupid so called fans that leave silly un thought out opinions like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great to see the eternal optimists rearing their heads again just as another big game comes around

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm, yeah, and man city got beat by chelsea who we beat 5 - 3! so to those eternal pessimists: get lost!!

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't be a true gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

We beat Chelsea 5-2 at the bridge, Chelsea beat Man City 2-1 it's a funny old game eh.

Agree0 Disagree0

We beat barca 2-1 and united lost 3-1 but then barca beat us 3-1 in 2nd leg but we still played better then mancs

Agree0 Disagree0

Carling cup 0-0 after 90 mins we had young reserve team they had about 100 million pounds on the pitch

Agree0 Disagree0

But we lost 1-0 playing one first team player while they had 4 players probably playing on sunday!

Ed; whats happened to all the montolivo rumours? are arsenal still interested? also what do you all think of dembele..i think he is very very talented, amazing dribbler, strong, good passer and hard working {Ed001's Note - they have had him watched, I believe there was an inquiry made, but then nothing. Perhaps the wages demanded were too steep?}

Believable2 Unbelievable7

It looks like there is some truth in the Torres rumours. It will depend on any signings that chelsea make during January and although £25m isnt exactly cheap Torres has a lot to prove and it could be a deal too good to turn down.

Goonermo {Ed001's Note - nonsense.}

Believable4 Unbelievable29

It's absolute BULL. Chelsea have categorically stated it's a false story & Torres is there 'for the long haul'

=Miss Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a liverpool fan dont get to happy its not going to happen if he was to go it one way back to lfc only

Agree0 Disagree0

ROTFL @ The LFC fan...

...Deluded much?

Agree0 Disagree0

We couldnt afford his wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope he stays where he is.

Ed, whats the news on Thierry Henry is there a chance of the loan deal that everyone is talking about. or does anyone know more on the situation of a possible move.. reguards Ivor {Ed002's Note - I don't know that any such deal has been agreed but after a long season I would have thought he was due a rest. How would you feel if Ramsey spent the summer on loan at CSKA?}

Believable2 Unbelievable8

I'm confused how "Everyone" is on about a TH14 Loan deal? Both Wenger & Thierry himself have completely shut down this idea.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ello ello miss arsenal {Ed025's Note - turn it in mate...this is not a dating site!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey going out on loan to CSKA would be a good idea imo

they've got about 60 league games to play this season, and would be in desperate need of players

Doumbia for 12m + ramsey on loan

Guys, if you've got 2 minutes have a look At Biglia Vs Usa video below. He looks like The Argentine Modric to me.

Believable1 Unbelievable16

Woow Ed You Lot Really Upgraded Lool, I Thought It Just Got Lost. {Ed001's Note - it has been in the pipeline for ages, took a bit of time to get it sorted.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I did not know you could post videos like that?

Gilo {Ed001's Note - only just set it up mate.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Loving the way we can post vids, but no offence OP, that was not worth watching! He didn't do anything great there IMO.
Raz

Agree0 Disagree0

Raz I agree he is nothing like Modric. Infact he reminds me of Lucas Leiva of 2 seasons ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah. There was actually some pretty ordinary passing in there. Fullbacks standing there waiting for the ball, not exactly killing it.

Chelsea looking to cut their losses with Torres and looking for 20m would he be worth taking a chance with? can be deadly when in form but seems to have lost it at Chelsea

Also who are the likely targets for the Gunners? we lose 3 players in January with African nations so strengthening is a must

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Loan yes any other thing no even if it is a loan his wages should be slashed

Agree0 Disagree0

False story. Chavs said today it's all BS

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if he is available we should take the gamble, our fast style might suit torres better and he could be firing..

Is taiwo more likely on loan or bought ed? And can he play anywhere other than left back(Is he very attacking and able o play in a bale role?) {Ed002's Note - I don't know for sure but a loan seems more likely.}

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Ed, are Arsenal actually interested in Taiwo? {Ed002's Note - At the moment it appears Arsenal's interest is based on speculation although Newcastle have enquired if he would be available on loan.}

January transfer window is going to be a crazy one.

Chelsea are going to lose, anelka, alex, drogba (AFCON). Surely you dont expect them to rely on torres up front in a crucial period, and it seems drogba will not renew his contract as he is seeking more than a one year deal.

I was told awhile back from a friend in spain that barcelona were open to dealing villa. Im not sure about the reports between the fall out with messi, but he was unhappy, that he would be subbed almost every game.

Torres is unhappy at chelsea and possibly thats why i can see him traded in january.

now the domino effect is that man city want a striker to replace tevez, milan, psg, chelsea, barcelona, liverpool (who want to replace caroll) alot of clubs have to dip into the transfer window.

I can only say one thing about neymar, arsenal did inquire about the players interest on a move to england but it did not go much further. im guessing his options were madrid and barcelona. {Ed002's Note - I have to say I was reasonably close to what was goining on with Neymar and am not aware of any enquiries about the player from Arsenal at all.}

Believable6 Unbelievable15

Who said anything about neymar {Ed002's Note - Did you read the post?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i dont know if you work for Arsenal Ed. But i was involved in the design and build construction of the emirates stadium and consequently for the queensland road development which i am still involved in. I work for an external consultant but dealing with Arsenal. Not that this has anything to do with Wenger and transfer rumours, but i meet alot of people who are involved with the club and being a fan of the club i find out about rumblings. Not that any of it is official. but i have known of a few dealings which either came to fruitation and some that didnt happen for whatever reasons. Just giving my opinion on the matter. {Ed002's Note - I don't work for Arsenal. But I can assure you that nobody associated with any discussion of Neymar was contacted by Arsenal about the player - at least not in the past year.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok i guess you would know about that since you sound quite confident on the matter.

Well im not sure what wenger is planning on doing this season, but gunning for scraps and bargain deals, very likely. With a lot of player movement expected from some big clubs i would like to see how arsenal use that opportunity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure what your sources are Ed... But yes, someone at AFC DID enquire about Neymar, albeit FLEETINGLY - And it's where the spark of question to AW came about whether he'd consider Neymar. {Ed002's Note - Fleetingly? Enquiries were not made with his club or agents by Arsenal.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Arcadis will be the consultancy.......

Agree0 Disagree0

I do wish people would put their names on here. I have no clue who was responding and who had just left another comment in response. (With regard to the above.)
After a long absence I am back on here, must be getting close to a transfer window.

Kermit79

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who posted the second response your connection to arsenal you done some work there in 2006 and you currently work across the road from thee emirates. Now that is inside knowledge for!
NOT

Why the hell wouldnt chel$ki rely on Torres for six weeks?
We relied on Chamakah for half a season!

Apparently we're linked with a 18m move for Loic Remy. Absolutely love this player, can score with both feet and head and can play on both wings but primarily a striker. Closest thing to Henry IMO, the similarities are uncanny.But a loan deal for the legend
would be welcomed. or hulk the poacher.

Believable30 Unbelievable13

Thats more like it T.Henry Love it happy daze

Agree0 Disagree0

Would make me cry to see my fav, player back at the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy was not very good in two games against Arsenal this season in fact he was poor. However Wenger is an admirer.

Arsenal are seriously thinking about making a move for Fernando Torres although it is believed El Nino wants out of London as well as away from Chelski

Believable12 Unbelievable33

Singing Torres would be a bigger blunder than Reyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Right so, he wants out of London?.....

Arsenal must be the destination then...

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres is just out of form...not sure if wenger will chance that. but then again he knows how good torres is and playin in a system like arsenal he would come alive.

20 million i think is a good deal for a player who is 28 and still got a good 5 years in him.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you think Chelsea will sell him for a 30 million loss a year later?

Get real

Agree0 Disagree0

Playing in an arsenal style team wouldnt do much for him, he plays in the spain squad and does nothing for them

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he needs to feel like THE MAN again and not "the man"

Agree0 Disagree0

Needs to go to a rubbish team like liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we should take a gamble on Torres,and if as they say he up for sale at 20 million,the Chelsea are not the right club for him,i think hed excel at Arsenal.to be honest i don't think we need much in the January transfer window,maybe Verntogen,as well,but that's it

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres is a quality player that is having a really bad spell which doesn't make him a bad player. If he was to go to the right club he would restore his form but Chelski isn't the right club for him. The question is, is Arsenal the right club? If anyone could get the best out of him then Arsen could and what other manager gives player as big of chance as Wenger does. The added bonus of Torres is that he has plenty of PL experience but bringing in fresh blood probably wont help with this season as they need time to bed in,,,,tough decision from the Prof!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would welcome for a fair price, but there is no way Chelsea would sell in January to us while still fighting us for a Champions league place. He will more than likely go back to Spain. I reckon a Torres and RVP partnership could be deadly mind.
