Giroud is incredible for France though. Scores or assists pretty much every match he plays. They also play to his strengths more than we do, granted, but he's still very good.
This Giroud hate gets on my tits. He's consistently delivered for us (best goals/ minute ratio in the league after Kane) , never complained about being benched, and has scored at a similar rate to Benz for Les Blues without the sex tape scandals.
