Just seen van persie has singed for utd also arsenal lining up a move for llorente

Ross

Believable33 Unbelievable59

Singed eh? What song did he singed

Agree1 Disagree0

Llorente flies in to heathrow Thursday morning to sign for Arsenal. Club record deal of 25 million. Trust Arsene.

Agree0 Disagree2

So, the plot thickens... what to do with the man u. millions now mr. wenger ?? you are an intelligent man, so i hope u will ease our pain. rvp was a class act but all good things end eventually ! like the song says "dont stop believin"

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente has signed for Juventus.

Agree0 Disagree1

Wenger will not get or even go for llorente. giroud and pods were rvp's replacements all along.

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope so i have the feeling a marque striker is in the line up

Agree0 Disagree1

R.v.p cant believe you sold us out for man united

Agree2 Disagree0

What did he sing, "Money, Money, Money".

Stezza.

Agree1 Disagree0

What about Bentdner ?

Agree0 Disagree3

Personally i think if we sig another player it will be at the expense of Song to Barcelona. IMHO i see the club, Wenger and the board trying to "Balance the Books" as they always do in which case is a kick in the teeth to us fans as we want them to show intent which means bringing and adding not replacing the starting lineup (deadwood yes offload).

Typical pulling of the wool over our eyes again as it looks like they have finally done somthing right only to do many things wrong to recoup money and thus proving nothing to us or the rest of the Prem towards our ambition which i now see won't ever change.

Agree0 Disagree0

Juventus are in for him so wenger needs to act quick

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente is away to juve so that wont happen

Agree0 Disagree0

RVP sings?

rubbish, just like your rumour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente is overrated, I dont think arsene actually wants him..

Agree0 Disagree0

Van p done deal on friday morning 20.5m plus add ons bad news but f**k him hope he gets injured no one that loves a club could move to rival but good new next tuesday Llorente for 23m plus nb52 plus sahin berate me if u want but fact

Believable29 Unbelievable47

What a load of rubbish. Atletico biboa only sign players that are from basque region.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why couldnt he move abroad? TRAITOR!

Agree0 Disagree0

NB52 can not move to bilbao

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently only players native to basque play for bilbao. would like that though! very disgusted with us sending him off to united. abroad i could of hacked but to another english team.. disgusted with the board and van purse-strings. had his name on my back for last 3 seasons.. reckon if i wrote him a letter and asked to be re-inburst seeing as hes on 200 + grand a week?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bilbao only have Basque born players. No NB 52

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't understand why people keep saying that nb52 will be part of the deal, Bilbao only have and sign basque based players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sahib will go to liverpool

Agree2 Disagree0

23 million for llorente plus NB... bit excessive?

Agree0 Disagree0

Bendtner isn't Basque so a load of BS!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope to god this happens !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a face bilbao can only purchase Basque players. Wengers done us again, FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah GREAT facts. It's £24 million, and Sahin is going to Liverpool.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah right....dream on

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus shut up with these dumb rumours with no basis. this is getting ridiculous. rvp leaving is bad, you lot are making it worse

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes actually done us good by leaving, 24million plus hes finally cause wenger to buy class adults not kids, also we are hardly a rival to utd now we are too weak that we are matching to spurs........ a real wake up call if we want to ever win the EPL

Agree0 Disagree0

15m plus add ons, if and WHEN Man Utd win trophies, rising to 22m .

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah bendtner is basque...ing in the limelight of his 7 goal stint at the stadium of light

"Arsenal Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Robin van Persie to Manchester United.

Van Persie will travel to Manchester on Thursday in order to agree personal terms and complete a medical ahead of the proposed move.

Further updates will feature on Arsenal.com in due course."

RVP finally off to ManU
i am disgusted by that, we should have refused to sold in the first place, i hope we're getting above £20m

PdotY - very annoyed gooner

Believable32 Unbelievable16

Could have been worse could have gone to city

Agree0 Disagree1

BBC have the fee on their website - £24m

Agree0 Disagree0

We are getting 24

Agree0 Disagree0

24m pounds apparently mate. good figure, but doesnt make it hurt less...

Winston

Agree1 Disagree0

24 million pounds. 37.6 million American.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're getting 24 m. If Carroll is worth 35 RVP is worth 50 million

Agree1 Disagree0

How dare they, this is embarrasing, selling our best player to Utd of all teams.

Sell out!

Ash

Agree2 Disagree0

TRUE!! bye bye Van hope ur injured majority of the season

Agree3 Disagree0

I agree its totally disgraceful that once again we sell our talent to a direct competitor what message does this send to all our rivals ... that arsenal the supermarket is open for businesss

Agree3 Disagree0

Money is the devil, haven't won a title in 7 years maybe if he stayed fit we would of the greedy snake.

DD

Agree0 Disagree0

We're getting 24 mill

Agree0 Disagree0

BBC say we get 24 mil for him which is very good for a player with a bad history record & probably just 4 more years at his peak. What now i wonder? Llorente? We pulled out of Mirallas so thinking we go for a more established proven striker now. Any ideas anyone? At least we know where we stand now! Must admit he has let us down, can't believe he's gone to Utd. Sickening.

Nunowoolmez

Agree0 Disagree1

Who clicked unbelievable..... It's on arsenals website

Essexgooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe afc need to change the board and manager we have sold more or less the whole team song is next..

Agree1 Disagree1

What an absolute joke.

Sell to anyone outside of the league.. what the F*** are the club playing at.

WG

Agree0 Disagree0

£24M according to BBC website - not bad business for a player who will spend so much time in the treatment room :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

The nerve of RVP...he knew saturday he was 99.9% off to the and sunday rolled on as a sub and took the captains armband. No Class....go f**k yourselve. We Gooners will always be there for Arsenal FC for the highs and lows. Lets hope the highs come soon so Loyal players like TV, Kos and Szsney can reep the joy of what its like to win for a class team, my team, The Arsenal. devongooner

Agree2 Disagree0

Inevitable, Arsenal Footballer Sales Ltd smell money opportunities better the real banks

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard it was for 24 million.

Kerry gooner

Agree1 Disagree0

Can now anyone refuse to say we are not the selling club. Yes, we are a selling club. We are always naive that our players will be loyal and we let them to one year left on a contract. But they aren't. Another year without a trophy, thats for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how we make silk purses out of sow's ears - and the mercenaries leave for Manchester.
They should remember where they learned to play properly
Too Rich, too bigoted, too up their own you know what! Could learn a great deal from the Olympians

Den - a disappointed Gooner.

Agree1 Disagree0

It is now about what winger does with the 24 million- he has to invest that if not more in at least one world class centre forward.
who should we sign?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ambition! What did the mancs win last season? We went further in the cl. They are gonna win f--k all next seasons. Rvp will be crocked by November and wishing he was to of the pl with us gooners.
Poor show Arsene.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good riddance!

Agree0 Disagree0

Any one know if there will be a replacement or were pod and Giroud bought knowin rvp would betray our loyalty

Agree0 Disagree0

Get over it. Your only a feeder club for the big teams now. Welcome to Manchester Robin.

Redchad

Agree2 Disagree0

All true gooners to make sure we let RVP what we think of him and his club has no ambition comments. Another greedy
"[i] love this club" badge kisser departs. Let's see whether we replace him or whether the money from the sale falls down that black hole in the board room.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a tranmere fan love watching arsenal by far the best 'footballing team' in prem. RVP goin for extra cash that's it wouldn't worry too much he's 29 an without been nasty has been injury free for couple of years must be due a knock! Greed once again wins over love for club!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont be disgusted or surprised. Footballers rarely have any loyality to their clubs - only the we the fans do which ever club you support. Its a job nothing more. His dad will be upset! as he said his son would never play for another premiership side - especially those situated in the North West - as did his wife!. I am not sure Man UTD needed him to be honest. Their priority was in midfield. Arsenal will do better than last year. Will that be enough? Lets see. Dont be surprised if we dont bring in another striker though. Up the Gunners keep the faith. Remember its only us that are loyal.. Buxtongooner.. see you all on Saturday!

Agree0 Disagree0

BBC reckon 24 million

Agree0 Disagree0

At Least with Podolski and Giroud, we have two international strikers in thier prime and not replaced RVP with youngsters, a bit different from when Nasri and Fab were sold last year. Like for like has been replaced, so it would seem on paper, and to get £24m for a striker in his last year of his contract is good.

However, the money must be used on the team.
I do feel that this is a make or break season for Arsenal and we will be viewed as closer to United and City and be regarded as 1 of the so called big 3/4, or we will be left behind and move closer to Tottenham/Liverpool / Newcastle, which will affect how Arsenal can do bsuiness in the future and the type of player they can attract and more importantly retain.
If we cannot produce the goods then players will start to see us as a stepping stone and not a team where they can win trophy's and see thier career out.

Overall,The signing's and business looks good so far tho!

Agree0 Disagree0

Traitor!
Chess

Agree0 Disagree0

Very annoyed? Thats it?

Agree0 Disagree0

F#ck you all, you've all f#ckin lost it, when the f#ck are you gonna wake the f#ck up, all you f#cking cheap fans can't you f#cking see do you think its for the f#cking money your f#ckin club have no morals that's what they are no f#cking dignity did you see Rooney left UTD when city wanted him did you see what did, that shows they care for the dignity of their f#ckin fans. you know what chuck off!

Agree0 Disagree0

I want to Wish him good luck! He was good for us last season! Guess he wants to be trying for titles again

Agree0 Disagree0

One word describes Arsenal in this transfer - pathetic

selling the captain to man utd.. really?

Agree0 Disagree0

So we have won nothing for years- and everyone and his son, keep on reminding us - after the Invincible's we tried to rebuild a team and lets be honest that team has won NOTHING, we have sold/released the entire team, so I say, GET LOST to the lot of them, we are the Arsenal and we will prevail

Alumiuna

Flamini
Toure
Gallas
Cliche/Cole

Fabergas
Nasir
Helb
Song

Adebayor
Van Persie

Sammy Nelson - the greatest left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsene wenger owes a reporter an ice cream

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes it stinks that we've sold him to the plastic manc scum, but I assume the club's view was: "the player clearly isn't going to sign a new contract, so let's get as much dosh as we can for the arrogant little weasel and flog him to the highest bidder." And tbh, £24 million for a 29 year old with an injury record like his might not be the worst bit of business we've ever done. He's still a greedy little turncoat with no respect for the club that made him and stuck by him throughout all his time out with injury after injury, so here's hoping he gets crocked the first time he turns out for the plastics. Hope he enjoys life in a rain-sodden bomb site as much as he did in London too.

Agree0 Disagree1

If Wenger has not agreed a replacement for RVJ before the move to MFC in Debt Ltd, then he is culpable of crassness or in misrepresentation vis a vis the sighning of Giroud remember ( not a replacement for RVJ but an addition)

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with Redchad, Ecstatic

Agree0 Disagree0

Redchad - if you knew anything about football you'd know you have an enormous hole in your midfield = ours has wishere, cazorla, song, ramsay, diaby, ox, arteta in it. Your team is not going to win jack

Agree0 Disagree0

He will never play as good a season as 11/12 and didn't want to be here so £24 million is very good riddance in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

All, it really doesnt matter how much the fee was. i think we all know we'll be lucky to see a fraction of it re-invested. pretty sure wenger has already commented that replacements have already been brought. this board bends over once again to a rival what a f##kin joke they are the fans deserve much better

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely gutted. It baffles me that on a consistent basis there is a lack of loyalty to the club that has nurtured them from obscurity to world class stars. It is getting to the stage that I honestly will be shocked if an AFC player rejects an offer from a barca or city and stays with the club. Song, prove me wrong please.

Jaiza1888

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 18:54:16
Well, looks like AFC might be shafted in the Sahin deal. Several journos and the LFC Echo are reporting that Sahin is on his way to Liverpool.

Apparently AFC was his first choice, but Mourinho stepped in and advised and pushed him to go to LFC. Supposedly it has to do with Mourinho'a connection to Rogers from his Chelsea days. Mourinho also told Sahin he would get more playing time at LFC, though that doesn't make much sense because LFC have a glut of MFs, moreso than AFC does. Mourinho has always had a personal vendetta against Wenger, so that possibly plays a part in all this.

Xabi Alonso apparently also advised Sahin to go to LFC.

I still don't think this is all concrete, so I'm still holding out for a deal with Arsenal. Keep your heads up Gooners.

Winston

Believable31 Unbelievable11

It's been a crappy day mate. very depressing

Agree0 Disagree0

He is going to Liverpool. It's been agreed, he signs tonight after the Turkey game.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Times head chief has also confirmed this, so I guess Arsenal are def out...

Agree0 Disagree0

Winston you are correct i am a LFC fan up in Liverpool and word is it was Xabi Alonso that as told Sahin to go to LFC because yes of more playing time and also he said he would love the city dont be supprised if Xabi joins him next season BAZZA true LFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Van pussy off to the mancs. On arsenal.com. Can't believe we have made manc u stronger. Would have preferred him to go abroad but still see us finishing higher than them. Come on you reds

Agree0 Disagree0

It's between Inter and Milan

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree disgusting, but...............this could turn out to be a very good deal for us.
24m for a player that turns 30 soon with a year on his contract, and glass ankles !
I just hope AW has someone in the pipeline !!

Agree0 Disagree0

We are not getting Sahin

We have one more signing to come....a CDM.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Liverpool fan I am gutted Man Utd signed van Persie at the end of the day you's got top dollor for him in my personal eyes he had one good season anyway players come players go we had it with Torres mascherano owen and alonso but our clubs are bigger than Any of them, stand up if u hate man u.
Cheers DES

Agree2 Disagree0

Sahin is not going to liverpool!?

He wants champs league and to play for a team on the up, liverpool were the biggest club in england! That was 25 years ago now they are on the same level as newcastle, everton and spurs!

Alonso left a sinking ship why would he tell sahin to jump on it and get drowned.

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical arrogance of gooner fans (some), a team have a cpl of bad seasons n now were on the level of newcastle everton n the Spuds to, i noticed u never left a name! wel see who Nuri signs for then wont we ha
ScouserJohnny

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a Liverpool fan and have heard the same stories/rumours about Sahin. Seems like he will be coming to Liverpool (on loan). Not sure how true the Mourihno thing is ... just because he knows Rodgers I don't think he would recommend Liverpool as he has no link with us (apart from reportedly being a fan in his younger days). No evidence of this but it may be more likely that Liverpool have agreed to pay more towards his wages with Arsenal having their policy in place. I strongly believe that Xabi could have been an influence as he still speaks highly of Liverpool and has openly said he'd love to end his career back at Anfield. Sorry to see Van Persie go to Utd ... however, have always rated Podolski .... good luck for this season ..... Scouse AndyB

Agree0 Disagree0

How would this be being shafted by Liverpool? I think they've been interested in him for a while just as Arsenal have been. It is an open market!

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 18:30:17
Rvp to have medical in manchester within 48hrs. 22m deal sorted on tues evening.

Believable20 Unbelievable7

Arsenal have announced terms have been agreed on their website.

Agree0 Disagree0

24m deal, not 22

Agree0 Disagree0

Judas!

Agree0 Disagree0

It is on ManU website agreed a fee for 20m not 22m.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a quick question really,,, if RVP fails medical, will he then come back to Arsenal and sit in the reserves for 12months?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 17:09:02
Report from Marca, the Spanish tabloid, saying Nuri Sahin would prefer Arsenal over other clubs regarding a loan spell. No idea if it's true or not but naturally, if I'm posting this, I would like it to be! What do ye think - is he worth it?

Stewart

Believable27 Unbelievable18

He's going to Liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not true. Sahin is signing for Liverpool tonight after the Turkey game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo worth it.... i'll go as far as saying that nuri sahin when playing for dortmund has all the skill, technique etc to be as good as paul scholes

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 17:57:36
Not big news but just saw gavin hoyte arriving in gatwick from a flight from France ?

Believable3 Unbelievable19

You didn't see Chamakh catch the return flight did you?

Agree0 Disagree0

And.......

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes left already to D&R

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly dont bother next time mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Then I realized, it wasn't Gavin Hoyte, but an 8 story tall crustacean from the paleolithic area...

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 16:58:42
take of it what you will but ive just been on on holiday to Bilbao and the feeling amongst the locals is that Llorente would prefer a move to Arsenal, only if RVP goes.

Believable34 Unbelievable16

Grioud will be the number 1 striker if rvp leaves so why would we get llorente really?

Agree0 Disagree0

Need him now Rvp has gone

Agree1 Disagree0

Well he has

Agree0 Disagree0

Posted that on the wrong post, meant to be one down, oops!

Agree0 Disagree0

"take of it what you will but I've just been on holiday and" are you seriously happy you opened with that?.
Arsegoon

Agree0 Disagree0

Loic remy wud be better

Arsenal want Jelavic from Everton. With Mirillas going to Goodison, they'll get him for 15mil. According to an agent I know in Scotland. Would be a fantastic deal, he's world class.

Believable14 Unbelievable57

Very good finisher but be very supprised if everton will sell there new prize asset

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree but i think llorente would be a better choice

Agree1 Disagree0

Jelavic is not world class. Hes a good player for everton, hes a class finisher but his build up play lacks, and with the system we play and i dont think he could play the middle on his own.

Agree0 Disagree0

World class really ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Now Jelavic I can get very excited about. What a 6 mos he had for Everton last year!

US Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

He does know where the back of the net is. cant see them selling him though as they have just had a cash injection from the rodwell deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree I thought last season he was fantastic for Everton. Would take him to arsenal in a flash. Hope u right.
AndyLat

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton supporter here, we will not sell jelavic under any circumstances as Mirallas is coming in to be a winger or play off jelavic. Get a life and realise your a club going backwards you only have van persie and he wants to life

Agree0 Disagree0

Your looking for joke of the day mate

Agree0 Disagree0

? world class? he played in my country for years! I mean the Austrian Bundesliga. There is not even a fix CL-Spot for this leaugue. and he never was top scorer...-.-' calling him top class is like saying chmakh is better than messi and ronaldo combined!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Not a chance of getting jelavic for 15m after the season he had, try nearer 25m. everton will squeeze every last penny out of the transfer. not that everton would sell him at the oment anyway, maybe nxt season he will move on if he has another good yr.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic not quite good enough for Arsenal. Don't see him as any better than Bendtner really - work ethic would be an improvement admittedly but beyond that no.

Stewart

Agree0 Disagree0

Be another signing of intent cannot see it happening .

Agree0 Disagree0

Make sense since they robbed us of mirralas. Also jelavic is a animal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodwell's cash less £5m for Mirallas is enough to keep Everton's debts in check for another season. Why sell Jelavic and make your own fans angry. As we will do when RVP goes to MU

Agree0 Disagree0

Behave, jelavic will not join arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic really is not world class. He's a decent finisher but lacks any kind of pace, he'd never be a first pick at Arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton will never let Jelavic go

Agree0 Disagree0

FIFA rule, no player can transfer to 3 different clubs in a calendar year so you are talkin trash mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes jelavic may not be world class, but his finishing is second to none and he does not rely on pace as an asset towards his game, his link up play is excellent and his movement is even better (hense why he scored so easily in the 2nd half of the season).

The poster who says he would not be first pick at arsenal are kidding themselves. Players as they get older tend to lose their pace and if that is their main asset their pretty much f*cked, but jelavic will always remain a top quality striker until retirement as his finishing, technical ability and the ability to read a game very well will never be lost.

People have their own opinions I understand but take it from me, as an everton fan who watches Jelavic week in week out.. I have a pretty damn accurate opinion of him, therefore know that I am right.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 13:09:17
Ed, do you think Song will leave for Barca, and if so how much do you think he is worth? I personally wouldnt accept anything less than 20-25m. I also think he losing him would be just as bad if not worse than losing RVP.
Thanks AYoungGunner {Ed002's Note - I think he will. I don't want to guess about money.}

Believable22 Unbelievable12

I can't see song leaving arsenal this summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Song is going no where this summer

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to get rid of all the false arseanl players now..... dear me no wonder we got beat of birmigham in the cup final.clear out start again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very overrated player, we would be laughing all the way to the bank if we get anything over 5m. Bring in Sahin, De Rossi or Toulalan any of which would be massive upgrade on Song.

Agree0 Disagree0

Song will stay for sure!

Agree0 Disagree0

"Very Overratted player" "anything over £5m?" "We need to bring Sahin, De-Rossi or Toulalan"

Mate all those players you mentioned would cost way way way more than the £5m you want from Song. You must literally suck at football manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's ask ourselves, does song actually play a CDM role? I don't think so. Case closed! Cash in and get someone better.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can only negotiate £20m - £22m for player of the year, top scorer etc, we've no chance of getting £15m - £20m for Song.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 12:15:19
Ed002 if rvp goes will we sign a replacement? And could it be llorente? {Ed002's Note - It could be.}

Believable18 Unbelievable26

Dream on...bet Wenger doesn't replace him

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente will not join Arsenal, Arsenal will not pay the amount that bilbao want for him and also there are other clubs that would blow us out the water if he came avilable
dan {Ed027's Note - no one will pay the amount they want, just like no one will pay the amount we want for RVP, the ammount will be negotiated like with RVP,

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see wenger paying £28 million for anyone, llorente would be a fantastic addition however ?

Agree0 Disagree0

And how do we intend to play llorente, podolski and girouid??

No thanks. If RVP goes, I am happy for a young exciting prospect to come in as cover...

Ayew
Sangogo
Luuk de Jong
Mbaye Niang
Julian Draxler

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Giroud was bought in because we knew rvp wudnt sign a new contract...... der will be nowun else!

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont be paying 28 mil we will be paying 6mil with the sale of RVP..

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 13:52:30
arsenal are in talks with shamrock rovers over the triple signing of three promising irish youngsters david fox cathal daly and damien carroll..tottenham everton and leicester are also fighting for the youngsters

Believable8 Unbelievable26

I heard about this deal and i saw these guys play..future of arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Will they be like most of the youths at arsenal have bought in then released a few years later ?

Agree0 Disagree0

No they will be unbelievble with the help of liam brady

Agree0 Disagree0

Ya there only 17

Forgot to add that the Kevin Mirallas deal to Everton is great news for The Arsenal, he's awful!!

You heard it here first

COYG

Believable42 Unbelievable20

He is not awful. Certainly not Arsenal material but hate this mentality some of the fans of big clubs have that if a player is not an absolute world beater he is automatically s**t or awful. Mirallas is a good player who could make a difference in the EPL but he could just as well fail if things don't go his way. We'll see I suppose

Agree1 Disagree0

I have heard that he is abrilliant player and his true price should be nearer 20 million. This is arsenal being too slow as usual.

Agree0 Disagree0

A bit harsh. doesnt sound like he is up to our standard but he has barely done much wrong for Olympiakos or Belguim.

Agree0 Disagree0

100% agree with the guy above hes not awful, actually a good player just probably not good enough to have a major impact at the arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes better than chamakh

JW.19

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. The fact that he is going to Everton tells you everything.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can guarantee the above posters have never seen him play more than 3 times!! I live in Greece most of the year and he's an average player in a extremely weak league. 20 million!! i hope you're talking Greek drachma!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^^^ fantastic comments!! This site needs more people like you that talk actual sense. Would love to hear your opinion on the RVP saga?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just down below you wrote:

"kevin mirallas to sign for 7 million plus squillaci. You heard it here first"

You're rubbish mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

Awful Mirallas scores against Arsenal. EPL talking about how overrated Hazard will be and what a deal for Mirallas. Heard it here first.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't me you person!!

Agree0 Disagree0

No, here's what will happen. Mirallas will play like rubbishe and get two goals over the course of the season. Against Arsenal he'll fluke a goal, and the commentators will be talking about how we SHOULD HAVE SIGNED HIM LOOK HOW STUPID ARSENE IS because that's what they always do. One commentator was even claiming we should have held on to Silvestre for god's sake, they say absolute b*******

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Aug 2012 08:03:41

I'm not bothered if we miss out on Mirallas. Despite his impressive couple of seasons at Olympiacos I don't feel that's enough to prove his worth for the prem or Arsenal.

I think we would be much better putting his cost and the wages of Bendtner and co. towards better investments. That way we could actually increase RVPs wages significantly whilst signing a CD, LB and/or CDM, AND still be within the profit from the sales of Cesc and Nasri.

The idea of giving them the Squid is appealing though..
