Players I've been impressed with @ Euros & would not necessarily want to buy. Just an observation: Yarmilenko(UKR), Dzagoev(RUS), Jerome Boateng(GER), Hummels(GER, even after RVP killed him with that turn the other nite lol), Welbeck(ENG), Ozil(GER), Schweini(GER), Gomez(GER), The Whole Spain Team except Arbeloa lol (I know he's a defender but how the hell is he a better player then Arteta & Enrique though). Nice cameo from Theo earlier tonight. SA-Gooner

Most impressive player so far by a mile is Roberts

Not a bad player to come off the bench and make a impact, a decent backup.
He has played well for Sunderland this season and can play in a varity of forward positions. Depends on the price really. He seems like a Wenger type player so I would not be that surprised on this one.

It's a rumour. Wherever he read it it's still a rumour, that's the point of this site.

Sessegnon was linked with us in January and also last summer. He's a good player, but I don't think we will see him in an arsenal shirt.

Sol never expressed the desire to join them over us. Verthongen is a Spurs fan - we do not want or need him.

I believe he chose the scum over us based solely on game time. Don't believe he will play ahead of Verm or Kos. Might play at left back but not he's favoured position. I'd still take him as cover just to wind up the scum.

Good post, but if spurs sign him, which I fully expect them to do, he would be brilliant.

Yes he said he wants to join spurs, but only because he won't be first team at arsenal. He is a brilliant player. Against England he was simply class. But I can't help thinking that does this mean that he won't be good enough for arsenal, as he knows he won't start in our first team? I don't think this is the case however.

Also, Dennis bergkamp was a tottenham fan.....

Some time ago I wanted him to join us, but his Choice was spurs and it's his hard luck if it has broke down.
He could become a gunner but after he said what he did I would rather us sign another defender, there are a lot of other good ones out there.

Matt hummels would be a far superior choice . And a
I'd rather have Titus bramble than someone who states they WANT to play for spurs.

Hummels is apparently a target for bayern, he'd never choose us over them.

Chimney sweep josh {Ed027's Note - he got sold by bayern to dortmund, bayern wanted hummels last year, but dortmund wanted too much so they opted for boateng, on another not he would never join a place where 1st team footbal was'nt guarenteed, Barca are looking at him to replace Puyol

Hummels is hugely in demand at the moment, I've also heard what ed027 said about replacing Puyol. IMO he's far better than Poo-hole as well because he can actually defend rather than just flop his hair about and pass prettily. Would love him at Arsenal but we're just getting our CB pairing to gel and it could really work out for us. Vermielny is a top quality pairing

I'd love to see vertonghen join us. Anytime we nick one of their targets is a bonus. As long as he's committed to the cause if he joins, that's all i care about. Also i hope juande ramos manages spurs again, just so he can finish the job he was meant to do in 2008, get tottenham relegated lol.

Bergkamp was a fan of hoddle. Not a spurs fan.

Arsenal are looking at yet another striker he is 26 andhe is called burak yilmaz he has scored 33 goals in 30 games in the league and 55 goals in 75 games in all comps he currently plays in turkey and what do you guys think.
Alan {Ed002's Note - Burak Yilmaz has attracted interest from Sevilla, Fulham, Dortmund, Beyer Leverkusen and Newcastle. There are also unconfirmed rumours of interest from Liverpool and Lazio.}

Decent striker but I've heard nothing about that from any reliable sources and don't believe he'll be signing. Giroud is very likely and after that it's unlikely we'll be signing any more strikers.
