According to the a web site website, we have agreed a £46 m deal for both Higuain and Fellani.

If you's don't believe me, check it out yourselves.

How can we agree a joint deal for players at different clubs?

Agree4 Disagree0

That website you're speaking of is 'a web site', the most unreliable website on the internet.

I'd love it to be true though.

Agree2 Disagree0

What web site?

Agree0 Disagree0

A simple google will lead you to a web site, potentially the least credible source other than maybe malaga gooner.

Agree1 Disagree0

The website in question isn't reliable at all but regarding the players involved, a few people are claiming Fellani and Higuain are all but done deals. Time will tell I guess.

Josh09

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe you, I don' believe them.

Agree1 Disagree0

Its all getting boring now.
Arsenal will wait till last 2 or 3 weeks
Then be left with average players to buy. u don't see other top clubs hanging around

Agree1 Disagree0

Ok - so a 'simple google'. as in what?

Agree1 Disagree0

Google higuain and fellaini 46 million and you should find it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or try caughts**** its the same one that 4-5 weeks ago put done deal for joc they don't know there ass from there face lol

Wait. a web site website? Sweet!

Agree0 Disagree0

You understand this site do not allow you to post links or websites why this person's story went from being from Caughtoff. to 'website'. Point is the website is not reliable at all so forget you even heard this story.

There's more chance of Leslie Grantham successfully hailing a taxi than there is of us spending £46 million on two players. Seriously, how many more summers of fevered speculation followed by disappointment do you need to endure before you learn how this goes, year in year out:

1. Club puts out some guff about Wenger having some mythical 'war chest' of £70 million quid.
2. Rumours abound, linking us with all and sundry. Wenger makes non-committal statements about being 'interested' in one or two big names.
3. Season tickets get renewed.
4. Wenger says he is happy with the squad he's got and goes as far as making laughable claims that it's the best he's ever had. Claims he might strengthen in one or two areas, but will only buy 'top, top quality'.
5. Buys a couple of players who are either untested or just mediocre (e. g. Gervinho, Giroud). Ironically, although we're unwilling to spend big on proven talent, the dross we do bring in are paid way over the odds for their ability (or lack of it).
6. We look forward to another season of scrapping it out for 4th place in the Prem and getting humped in the 1st knockout stage of the Champions League.

Don't get your hopes up about spending large sums on marquee signings, because the form book suggests that it ain't going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

If that's tbe case we have 36 million to spend on good players

Agree0 Disagree0

Reply to the genius two posts above. You do realise that if the situation continued, there would be a revolt. The board are in the postions they are in because they are very intelligent, not persons. At no point have Arsenal been as bullish about their strength in the market, so they will have to act or loose all reputation. This time, we have the cash. Chill out.

According to former a former agent with links still in the agency Arsenal have signed Fellani and Cesar they're as good as Arsenal players already.

Higuain looks likely
Rooney is still a very serious target.

'AgentJim'

He has claimed 10 transfers in the last month before anyone else and all were found to be true.

I believe it, so rest easy Arsenal fans and enjoy your summer we genuinely could win the PL next season although I think we'll make 2nd and at least a couple cups and CL progression.

Hi Eds, is there any thruth to the rumours that Arsenal is interested in Dries Martens? Is there any chance he'll leave PSV for AFC or any other club? Thanks {Ed029's Note - Posted on another page by Ed02 - Even before Bayern Munich appointed Guardiola they were indeed looking to refresh the squad this summer and Mertens was one of the players they were looking to. However, their plans right now do not include Mertens - who is still of serious interest to Napoli with passing interest remaining from Lazio and Schalke. I would expect there might be interest from England and certainly Spurs has started to take an interest in him as a possible option for the summer, but Napoli seem to be the club that are pushing.}

This is not a"my friend is a friend of the groundsman's dog story", but speaking to a group of fellow gooners at work yesterday, they reckon that Fellaini is a cert, but Martinez will ask for Arteta as part of the deal.
Has anyone else heard this?

Believable15 Unbelievable56

Hi mate, I have not heard this but I had heard that if we get Fellaini then Martinez wants Coquelin on loan?

Hard to know so I didn't bother sharing. Coquelin makes up the quota for homegrown players I think, but in honesty I believe he could be angling for a move away from the club after 2 disappointing years as a senior player, and might be used in a deal for Grenier. Hard to say. We've got a lot of players we can use for bargaining, wouldn't surprise me at all if Martinez goes for a deal like that. I'm not convinced we'd let Arteta go to anyone though!

Agree0 Disagree0

I hears Martinez was desperate for Andre Santos as cover in case Leighton Baines loses form.

There is a lot of strong buzz around that we are going to get Rooney. Don't shoot the messenger.

Believable36 Unbelievable70

Like the rumour he was spotted at the Emirates? Even though he's on holiday?

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer Higuain. I can't see Rooney going to Arsenal with the current squad they have and let's face it Arsenal have the 4th strongest squad in the EPL and would be lucky to make Europes top 10.

Agree0 Disagree0

No - much more real than that. The source I have says Rooney is keen to play with Wilshere, Walcott and Chamberlain. That he is leaving OT, and doesn't want to leave England.

This makes sense, as Rooney is not the most intelligent but has a large ego so wouldn't want to start another language. That leaves City, Chelsea and us able to afford him. City he won't go to as he won't survive in Manchester, and as I say I have a source who made that comment.

That and the fact we are now the bookies favourite, whether Rooney was seen at the Emirates or not, Ferguson and Wenger get on, we can afford him, the buzz on the internet is loud too.

Agree1 Disagree0

This signing is a must for me. send out the right message and also this will give AFC that strong english core - Jack, Theo, Ox, Gibbs all lead by Rooney add a little Felliani and Cesar and we are rocking

Agree2 Disagree0

Lololololololololol that is all.

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope he's a great player he just needs that club where he will be loved

Arsenal will hijack liverpool's proposed move for shakhtar donetsk's henrikh mkhitaryan. Wenger is willing to meet the ukranian club's £20m valuation of the player. The midfielder's performance in a world club qualifier against denmark, in which he scored and assisted a goal, impressed wenger and his array of scouts. Arsenal are confident of beating liverpool to his signature, as the club can offer champions league football, which the gunners' rivals from merseyside are unable to provide at this stage.
