Mr Ed002 could you please update the good, bad and Dags of the Arsenal page on their players of interest for the summer transfer window.

{Ed002's Note - UPDATED:

Some of this will change by the summer and there are major dependencies on (a) players leaving, and (b) how much money the club can raised through sales. However, there is known to be (or have recently been) some level of interest in the following players fairly recently:

GK: Cech (clearly the preferred option), Leno and Ochoa have been considered. Interest in Neto has probably gone.

RB: After moving from Toulouse to Paris things have not gone too well for Serge Aurier and I think there is a good chance that Arsenal will rekindle previous interest as PSG look to buy a replacement.

CB: Roma are losing the battle to get Alessio Romagnoli to sign a new contract with both Sampdoria and Arsenal very keen on the player. St Et's Loic Perrin is also a consideration for Arsenal. Dragovic, Glik and Subotic have been considered. Interest in Hummels has gone. River Plate's Balanta has been watched by Arsenal.

DM: Arsenal will look to Southampton's Schneiderlin this summer and I think a deal can be done. Biglia does not appear to be a viable option but has been looked at. Carvalho remains a player that both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in and his situation remains the same. He is for sale, but the asking price would need to come down to make any move possible.

M: Fekir is a player of interest to Arsenal amongst others - Lyon do not want to lose him and Lacazette and are very difficult to deal with - but it is possible. Bernard will be available and Arsenal may consider rekindling their interest. Real Madrid will look for a significant fee for Asier Illarramendi who is of interest to both Inter Milan and AC Milan in addition to Arsenal and Athletic Bilbao who were negotiating a January transfer. Will almost certainly move in the summer. Interest in Draxler has probably gone and Khedira needs to get his act together and make a decision - put I suspect it will not be Arsenal. The club will be approached about Arda Turan but I do not know if they will be interested at all.

W/F: Palermo are looking to have Dybala sign a new contract but have made it clear that they will sell for €50M - a fee which will put off most clubs. His agent is acting in an unprofessional manner and offering him to various clubs. Juventus, Dortmund and Arsenal have a declared interest but I suspect the fee would put them off unless it can be negotiated down. Chelsea have been approached but will only turn to him if interest in another player comes to nothing. There is also interest in him from Spain and Italy - and if Barcelona can raise the funds in the summer to start their rebuilding programme then he will wait for January as both club and player would like a deal.

Gameiro has been looked at and might provide a fallback position but there is interest from Marseille and Liverpool. Another alternative is Hoffenheim's Firmino. Kishna (I understand his agent wants him to move to Juventus), Lacazette (almost certainly not going to happen). Two other players the club were interested in - Bakkali (I suspect Arsenal have stepped back from their interest like many other clubs) and Andre Ayew (a free agent who Liverpool enquired about last summer - no obvious interest right now but it may return).
Arsenal's interest in Pedro remains.

Eintracht Braunschweig failed to make Bayer Leverkusen's Karim Bellarabi's loan permanent in the summer amidst interest from both Hamburg and Hoffenheim. Interest from Stuttgart seems to have gone although Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham have had the player scouted this season - Chelsea have another solution now. However, any move this summer is unlikely as he has signed a new long-term contract with Leverkusen.

Douglas Costa appears to be heading elsewhere and I suspect Arsenal have dropped their interest in him and Andre Ayew who will become a free agent in the summer. Malcom and Tielmans have been looked at but there appears to be no interest. "Apparently" (an agent's "apparently"), Manchester United and Arsenal remain interested in Mandukic. I very much doubt it.}

Any thoughts on who might be leaving?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Not beyond what was said before. Cazorlla, maybe Mertesacker, Rosicky, possibly Walcott, and I don't know what is happening with the GKs.}

Ed02 there are news that a club has made a 40m euro offer for dybala is it to do with arsenal?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Arsenal, but the club remain very interested in Dybala. There is interest from elsewhere and Palermo are, like Lyon, very difficult to negotiate with. There is also an agent and other representatives who are making matters somewhat difficult.}
