CS here, just realised all the rumours I have posted in the last week none have appeared! My replies to others do but not my actual posts, is there any reason for this as they do not contravene any rules and are "good" posts if you will.

Big news in Madrid (and fairly common knowledge it would seem) Lassana Diarra has signed a pre-agreement to re-join us

IF this is true, which I have to say seems doubtful - then you have to wonder how good he will be for us. He was quick enough to move on, and must consider that move a failure if he comes back.

Personally I think this one seems very very unlikely.

I read an interview with him a while back about how he hated it here, he didn't enjoy arsene wenger's style of management, said he didnt talk to him enough

Not sure I would put my life on it but many people seem to know about it so its worth reporting on here

as a side note my personal view is that Song is much better going forward so him Jack and one other is the way forward, not sure Diarra is the other though

I dont think he moved due to lack of ability it was his poor attitude that was the problem so i cant see this happening

As much as I love the thought of arsenal signing all these players on "pre- contracts" and the like, it doesn't/won't/CAN'T happen guys.

I see posts almost everyday about how we've pre-signed Mathias Suarez, I know for a fact we asked about him in January, but mainly as a price estimate if what I'm told is true.
But we haven't been enquiring since the end of the window, you'll find it's just journalists looking to stir/make a name.

At the end of the day guys I hate to be a killjoy but please stop posting these "pre-contract or pre-signing" rumours about players, all it does is serve to discredit you as a source

From what i know and sources matias suarez is waiting for his belgium resisdency papers and thats it... but arsenal can withdraw to not signing him at any time...

This is a rumours site mate, but I get where your coming from. To be fair, I don't know why ppl are thinking about summer signings, we still got a monster of a season to finish. Regarding my wish list tho, a holding midfielder over the age of 26 would be nice. Awesome site btw.

Can you have a pre contract to a pre contract? How many pre pre contracts do you need before it is tapping up LOL what a joke!

Far as I am concerned it is all guesswork until Arsenal announce it!

Gotze I said I think we will sign but its guessing!

Podolski I don't see coming but again I have no real meaty sources it is guessing!

Think what people really mean is fee agreed, wages agreed. agreed to sign in summer like a gentlemens agreement, as pre contract is illegal and would result in transfer ban.

LOL @ ^^ so true! cough Nasri cough. This summer will certainly be an interesting one. Hopefully Arsene will sort the transfers early. Im hoping Gotze and Podolski are signed up before the Euros that way we get a good pre-season in unlike this year! Hazard as well if Arsenal are really looking to make a statement! =)

seems like arsenal have started talking to M'Vila about a possible transfer or regarding his situation... no way near a transfer but just updating u lot

If Arsenal are talking to M'Vila then that is tapping up and illegal. Unless something has changed since Wednesday evening, Rennes have certainly given no permission for any club to talk to the player but are expecting him to leave this summer.}

Maybe talking to the club about a price for him?, from what i know arsenal do not do their business illegally so I am assuming their is some sort of legal talks being hold, the clubs involved? ofcourse...

and on top you are correct other clubs are interested and arsenal tlaking to the club/player does not mean we will sign him!

At the end of the day wenger has to go for top signings to keep the top players we have,and hes not going to spend big on older players and there wages!
so i think he will go for goetze,hazard,vertonghen,poldolski ans suarez,there all under 25 and the sell on value in 3 or 4 years will be huge..
kroenke needs the team to start winning trophies with all our sponsorship deals up in the next 2 years.
believe me or not! your going to see a huge investment in players in the summer with a lot of fringe players going out,,
for get about the so called 55 million war chest! wenger can spend up to �100 million and kroenke will stump up the rest

Hi Ed..is ARSENE WENGER in for Montpellier's Younes Belhanda..the news was on The Sun.(in my opinion he is cheap and good but not experienced enough..what do you say..) {Ed002's Note - My understanding is that Arsenal would be interested in Belhanda should he become available.}
