Ed knowing that you're very knowledgable on arsenals financial situation and players we are looking at, what in your opinion on how arsenal should approach this summer in transfers?

Also do you know what is happening with Torreira in Maitlan-Niles in terms of transfers?

{Ed002's Note - The issue with the finances is well known - but Arsenal need a left back and will likely need a striker. Layvin Kurzawa (LWB) and Odsonne Edouard (S) look reasonble options - plus Mari and perhaps Soares.

What happens with Maitland-Niles may be dependent on whether Arsenal take up their option on Cedric Soares - it would be a kick in the gonads for the kid and he may have to think about other options. Lucas Torreira (DM/CM) has told the club he wants to leave and his agent is already working on trying to find interest in Italy.}

Thanks Ed. Maybe things have changed but didn’t you think that Kurzawa was a bad option before? I think it’s bad option knowing that we have Tierney, Kolasinac and Saka.

{Ed002's Note - Perhaps they will all leave?}

Should be keeping Saka and Tierney in my opinion. Do you know if the Leicester links are true for Tierney? Would be weird considering he hasn’t even played a season.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - If they lose Chilwell he is one of the LBs of interest. Allow him to kickstart his career. Saka is not a LB really.}

Thanks Ed for the info! I know you travel a lot so stay safe mate.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks.}

Arteta spoke really highly of tieny in a recent interview praising his attitude and hard work ethic and if I remember rightly went on say he's one of the best he’s trained. I guess ED, regarding transfers, until we know who’s leaving, aubamayang, Sako, ozil, sokratis we can't really plan our moves. Patrey is key is Torreira is off.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal's problem is money and mismanagement of the business.}

Arsenal want a left back? Are we planning to field a team of 11 left backs?
That is crazy stuff.

Ed, you constantly say how badly the club's business is carried out - can't argue with you there based on what's happened! However, do you not see an improvement with the younger Kroenke and the new management team in place? It seems that when coupled with Arteta as manager we can have a serious expectation of improvement?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - No, there are a mass of other individuals in the mix as well.}

Ed002 is there nobody with enough influence who can sort out the mess at the club? Seems counter-productive to run a club/ business this way.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Head of Football Raul Sanllehi decided it was a shambles of a set up and walked out - Steve Rowley had previously done the same for the same reason and indeed Sven Mislintat. The club are not addressing it.}

I didn't realise Raul Sanllehi had quit Ed002! I guess the person/ people pulling the strings are either too stuck in their ways/ too uninterested/ too complacent or just don't love Arsenal 😔.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Sorry - not RS.}
