Sorry ed I did search but could find exactly what I was after. Do you know if there's a change in heart about chambers being no longer required. I ask because Gabriel looks set to go and I don't recall you saying he was one of the ones we was open to selling. and if chambers goes I wonder if they'll step up a search for another Cb. Or do people believe it's because monreal and the new kolasniac can play there? Open to people's opinion on this.

More odd Wenger deals. We appear to be selling Gabriel for less than we paid for him and at a sale fee that would be less than the cost of a decent Championship CB. Now news emerging that Inter are interested in Mustafi! Of course Wenger is intending using either Monreal or Kolasinac, both left backs or in Kolasinac's case a LWB, as CB's. Has he not learnt that converting players rarely works. You only have to look at Bellerin and Gibbs, both offensive players as youngsters, converted into full backs that can;t tackle or defend. The CB situation is really concerning as we only have 5 CB's once Gabriel departs. Of these Mertesacker is in his final season, Koscielny is in his thirties and carries permananent injury, Holding and Chmbers are both young and inexperienced. Indeed we seemed set to sell Chambers if Palace had met our valuation. I would love to see us sign Van Dijk and another CB, such as Johnny Evans. We need a RB that can defend as well as attack and next season we will need to replace the aging Monreal and Cech.

One (some) question to understand the mechanics of transfers and club management. Do you think a Lemar deal would be more likely if we manage to find new clubs for players like Wilshere, Debuchy, Gibbs or Jenkinson? Or if Ox is leaving us?

It seems Arsenal have a to many players we hardly ever use, and probably never will use. These kind of squadplayers should be youngsters, right? Is this a situation we ended up in, since we had a stadium to repay. Seems like we gave out new contracts, instead of replacing with better players. Hence the high wages to some of these players.

Hi Eds, a lot of people saying Draxler is available is this true? I don't think it has worked out for him in France has it, So why would people think he would work in the EPL? What are your opinions on him being a suitable and obtainable sanchez replacement (if he was to leave) .

{Ed002's Note - Draxler has been offered to two sides right now - one is from the Premier League but not by his club. They have not offered him for sale, if they did they would likely speak to Arsenal.}

Edoo2 I know your probably travelling and busy, but can you answer me a couple of questions

1- has any bids been made for Sanchez, Ozil or the Ox.

2- are we finding hard to sign any of our targets, are we putting in stupid low bids as usual.
