SS are reporting that we have agreed a fee with Cean for Niang but could still face competition from city who could match the fee

arsenals bid for mbaye niang has been accepted, believed to be 6m, however man city are keen to take him on trial so if he impresses they could also make a bid meaning the player would choose who he wants to join so this by no means hes coming to arsenal for certain, but still positive news none the less

Believable20 Unbelievable10

I think Niang would choose Arsenal. If i was a 17 year old potential ace, I'd be looking to Arsenal to nurture my talent. He'll rot on the bench at city.

Clint Dempsey has been seen leaving Lodon Colney today to put pen to paper on a deal from Fulham..

Believable14 Unbelievable32

Proof

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish this was true but from what i saw on SSN yesterday, he has his heart set on liverpool!

Agree0 Disagree0

No, more likely to end up at Anfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Out of curiosity, why would he choose Liverpool over us?

Agree0 Disagree0

How can players choose manchester and liverpool based clubs over a central london club....it is not very pleasant up there!

Agree0 Disagree0

The papers are making up s*** about Dempsey. He wants to join AFC due to wanting to remain in London and also CL. Liverpool want him but he wants AFC. We didn't want a bidding war. Fulham wanted a bidding war. He will join AFC.
And IMHO he will be a major success.
GoonerDan

I didnt see him at Colney yesterday, and i was there all day.........

Van persie bid this friday to be accepted before arsenal head of to asian tour, Wenger to discuss new deal for Walcott whilst away in priciple

Agent Farrell

Believable21 Unbelievable23

Bid from who ???

Agree0 Disagree0

Juventus

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you not seen the recent news? RVP has not been allowed to leave and will play out his last year of contract. The gunners are willing to take a gamble and let him go for free in a year as he will then be nearly 30 and the chances of a contract exstention with the gunners is greater

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly from what club,,, hope if he goes its to juv not any of the manchester clubs

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought asian tour started wednesday in malayia.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good Luck RvP
One good season and you think you are larger then the club, I never want to see a modern day player kiss the badge.
True legends Tony Adams, Dennis Bergcamp and Ray Parlour

Agree0 Disagree0

Whowever pays the most, let him go to city or any other epl side, its all about the dollar

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems believable, BUT WHAT IS YOUR SOURCE

Agree0 Disagree0

I say make him play out the final year of his contract, even if he is in the reserves - he signed up to that contract when he was injured and Wenger showed faith - he was quite happy to get more money then and commit - we need to show that we wont be pushed around by players, if we do sell him then make sure it is abroad even if the money is less than we could get from City - let's remember what a great club this is and how lucky the players are to be there

Believable23 Unbelievable44

You missed santa claus

Agree0 Disagree0

Quit posting crap from CaughtOffside. It's pretty useless information.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some body's been reading caughtoffsides bs story's pele and maradona on close to agreeing deals to sign for mk dons by caughtoffside

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't forget mickey f---in mouse

Agree0 Disagree0

In the unlikely event that AFC are looking at any of the above, that's all we'll be doing: looking. There's no way our board would spend the amounts of cash required when they could just pay it to themselves instead. You've got more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding into the Emirates aboard Shergar.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's funny... this is caughtoffsides' list and they're 99.9% inaccurate

Agree0 Disagree0

You left out Elvis Presley and Ghandi......what a load of bullocks...

Agree0 Disagree0

Not forgetting messi, ronaldo and dennis bergkamp.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lord Lucan riding into the emirates above Shergar!! Classic - And Im betting the original poster has no idea who you're on about! Respect to you sir.

Agree0 Disagree0

I want my 1 minute back from reading ur stupid wish list and writing this post. U banker! Dublin Gunner!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nearly a full 11? Might aswell say Arsenal are going to sign Messi. Not even an Arsenal fan but it's amazing why people make up stuff purely because they want them to join the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fella's, don't be too hard on the muppet, the mental capacity of those looking at the CaughtOffside 'website' is somewhat lower than a half-eaten Donut.

Agree0 Disagree0

They r but they won't sign them

Agree0 Disagree0

I will say, again, that David Villa is recovering from a bad leg break, will not be fit for the start of the season, and IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!! Did you not notice that Spain played most of the Euros without a recognised striker?!

Agree0 Disagree0

They are mostly all dated out and over-developed stories, just hope arsenal find a replacement for walcott ( afellay over moses )

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I heard that too!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take Victor Moses. If I'm really honest, it wouldn't be a big loss if Thjeo left as we have Oxlade-Chamberlain. Theo is a good player but he does lack a footballing brain and Moses is a big strong winger who knows just that little bit more in the final third and does have a good shot on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Really we'll sign all of these players

SSN reporting that both arsenal and liverpool are interested in Mirallas from Olympiakos.Article says the player has a buy out clause of around 6.5 million and the club are willing to let interested parties talk to the player

Believable24 Unbelievable22

Hope this is true, I like Kevin Mirallas, but I think he'd join as a replacement for Walcott, their too similar, pacey attacking wingers.
Could be a replacement for Arshavin, or Walcott put as a striker this season maybe.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

And there is our back-up striker. Giroud will be our main-striker, Van Persie will leave. Vela going to Sociedad, Bendtner will be going as well. We got enough cover on top.

paulinho will join soon from corinthias for a fee near £11 million although arsenal have bidded £9 million. if milo has a succesful olympics then he will join arsenal for around £3 million. m'baye niang might join for £6 million but he's deciding between arsenal, spuds and man city. the transfer of joselu is being discussed between arsenal and real madrid but arsenal will face competition for his signature. on the goalkeeper front then kenneth udjus isn't too far away from joining arsenal.
so in summary
. paulinho looks like he could join
. niang will join arsenal/city/spuds
. milo might join
. joselu could join
. udjus looks set to join

Arsenal Football Club has announced that striker Carlos Vela is in San Sebastian this evening for final discussions about a permanent move to Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad.

The 23-year old Mexican international spent the whole of 2011/12 on loan with the Spanish club and enjoyed a successful campaign in La Liga, scoring 12 times in 35 appearances. Vela made his Arsenal debut in 2008 and has made 62 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

Further news will be issued on www.arsenal.com in due course.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wanna know how much we're getting for him. Any info anyone?

Agree0 Disagree0

So let me get this right..... You would prefer people to post "rumours" that are facts! Or "rumours" that are bull s**t ? It might be called football rumours, but I'm sure the majority would prefer posts to be factually correct! Or am I missing something?

reports, that Arsenal won't allow RVP to leave. And Givemefootball.com just announced, that Arsenal apparently turned down a 25 Mio offer for Walcott, cause they don't want to loose him either. Good News, if these sources are right!:)

Believable17 Unbelievable43

Well the fact that you used givemefootball.com just lost you a lot of credibility...

Agree0 Disagree0

If they wer offered 25 mill for walcott im sure wenger would pack his bags and drive walcott to his new club himself

Agree0 Disagree0

I would accept £25m for walcott even if he still had 5 years on his contract this has to be absolute bull
Bedford Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt Arsenal would keep RVP and disrupt our season - if he wants out let him go!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not even Chelsea are stupid enough to pay 25m for Walcott only Liverpool pay stupid money for Players (35m for carroll) also arsenal would have but there arm off for that amount! Another bulls*** post!!

Agree0 Disagree0

U must b smokin some strong stuff!25 mill 4 walcott like the man b4, wenger would bite some1s arm off 4 that price!

Agree0 Disagree0

Turning down 25MM for Walcott is just stupid.

Agree0 Disagree0

H, 25 mill for Theo, hha!

Ash

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd strongly expect Arsenal to accept a £25m bid for Walcott.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha you guys are pretty nice. I postet this becuase it is a rumour who is all over the internet and on sources like givemefootball. and you guys write it is anpother bulls*** post. yeah might be not true. but it is a rumour. and nothing i made up. so shut your mouth.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Arsenal don't want to lose Theo, then his contract should've been sorted out at the end of last season. It won't hurt to play Theo through the middle in his natural position, but if he does go can you blame him? sorting out a contract in it's last year doesn't exactly make a player feel part of it does it?

*****YELLOW FEATHER***** Good afternoon fellow Gooners, i have a little news for you after returning from my world adventures with the England party in POL/UKR. We all know that Podolski has penned a deal to come to the Emireates, but what of Giroud, well he is currently sharpenening his studs ready to be shown to the worlds media, with a few more faces coming into North Londonshire. Firstly some bad news, it seems that RVP is going, Juve will complete the signing on him in the next 2 weeks, the value, who knows, but at least he is not going to Manchester, also out will be Arsehavin, Chamakah, Squillachi, Bentner, Almunia, Park and Gervinho, again prices i dont know, but there all going. Now for the excitment bit...... whose coming in, well, here are the list of players i can comfirm will be on there way to the Emirates before too long. M'Vila - deal almost done for €20M, Lewandski - 75% done deal, price unknown, Affelay - deal done for €9M, Sakho - deal 85% done for €6M. So with Giroud done and M'Vila and Affelay done, expect a show to present these very soon, and with all the sales, we will expect to have a defeciet of about £5M pounds, in my reckoning, some good business as the war chest remains intact and a €25-30M bid for Mario Geotze or the Brazillian guy whose name i have forgot (young kid who knows Santos) will follow in early August. My main concern is a goal keeper, Shez is good enough but we need someone to challenge him, Loris would be ideal in my opinion, but we will have to wait n see. So before i go, he is a little taste of the squad as it will be for the start of 2012-13 season.................... Shez / Flapper / (new guy) / Gibbs / Santos / Sagna / Mert / TV5 / Kos / Sakho / Theo / The Ox / Song / Rambo / Wilshire / Arteta / Rosicky / M'Vila / Affelay / Podolski / Giroud / Lewandoski / Ryo............... and a couple of talented youngsters to pad us out. Well i have to go now, need to pack my bags for the Far East, looking forward to China and Hong Kong. ***** YELLOW FEATHER *****

Strange development in the RVP saga as Arsenal 'Force ' him to see out his contract
source:

Believable16 Unbelievable12

The board are not that stupid as they are to greedy and will cash in if he dont want to stay, i personally think we should cash in on him now.

Agree0 Disagree0

If they force him to stay he'll play crap (by choice) or get injured as usual. either way nobody will be interested in him next season if that happens again and he'd be better off signing a new contract. Hope he just cops on and signs a contract with us.

Rob

Agree0 Disagree0

I have always said we should do this. Imagine if we are near (or at) the top come December. RvP will be singing a different tune.

Agree0 Disagree0

Keap him, if we're are doing well he could stay on, and it would also give us time to intergrate our new strikers. if rvp helps us secure a top 4 position he'd basically be paying for himself.

I agree, if we're top come January he will change his mind.

Just a quick note carlos vela wasn't anywhere to be seen in the training pics do you think this is a sign that he is gone? Also the fact that bentner and arshavin were?

Also the camara man seemed to be focused on RVP I think this might be a case of trying to insure people that there is still a chance that he could stay.

However Walcott was also nowhere to be seen ? So what could so this mean?

Believable16 Unbelievable8

Vela is in advanced talks with Real Sociedad over a move, the deal is expected to be completed by the end of the week. Rumoured fee to be around 4m with a large sell on fee, around 35 - 40%.

Hi eds, good work as usual! Heard couple of rumours re van persie sale and thought would share them as this is a rumour site! Heard chelsea willing to offer sturridge and torres in straight swap for walcott and ven persie! I know most would value strurridge and torres alot more but chelsea would take a hit as reduces wage bill a great deal. also heard man u offered £12mill and berbatov for van persie in late may which was turned down straight away although wenger is a fan of berbatov as feel closest player in prem who cud fill the bergkamp role. i personally wud snap chelseas hand off if true! what you think eds! {Ed035's Note - I can't confirm if this is true or false but it would definitely be worth thinking about, I don't know what weekley wage Torres is on but our style of play would suit him much better than Chelsea's, this is my own opinion so I would like to hear other people's views on this??

Believable15 Unbelievable22

If this was true I would take this
fed up with players who dont want to be at the club. have players who want to play for the team . like they did in the 70's 80's and 90's . bring it on thats what I would say

Agree0 Disagree0

Swap deals never happen between rival clubs, i don't now why people spread this rubbish. lies lies lies

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't mind taking a risk on Torres. Actually I'm quite certain he'd do well at Arsenal. I do, however, aso believe that we couldn't afford his wages and also, player swap deals are extremely rare especially involving names of this caliber. I find it very hard to believe this rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

Eds? where do you decide what dodgy rumours are and what arent cause there is so so many nonsense ones like this one. {Ed027's Note - how do you know its nonsense, torres clearly isnt settled at chelsea, whilst sturidge has dropped fown the pecking order, its not impossible

Agree0 Disagree0

This is ridiculous. Why would Chelsea get rid of Torres and Sturridge to reduce the wage bill and then take on RVP and Walcott from Arsenal that are looking to get contracts of £125k+ and £80k+ respectively. If that if the case then to save a worthwhile amount of money Torres and Sturridge would have to realistically be on £225k+ combined, which would surely price them out of Arsenal's budget.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ridiculas idea, why would we even entertain it? Not that we are, just some more BS/Championship Manager style rumours. Get a grip people, from all the rumours i have read on this site, we would have signed half of Europes top talent by now. Jeez...

Agree0 Disagree0

I shared some info on this site for the first time last week...afobe loan, hold up on mvia etc etc...then got slaughtered for revealing the torres interest and got called every name under the sun.
The question of who gets to judge whats bull and what isnt may well be a fair one..but by the same token who are you to slate a perfectly feasible transfer...just because player swaps between big clubs hasnt happened before or 'his wages are too high'....fact is there is interest in Fernando Torres our end...whether he would take a pay cut in order to regain his reputation in a team that plays a style that would see him net 20+ a season is up for debate.
S-bo

Agree0 Disagree0

If arsenal were to get this miraculous swap then im sure arsenal would pay them a large signing on bonus instead of a larger weekly wage

bs18

Agree0 Disagree0

If true which I very much doubt I agree with Ed. Arsenal style of play would suit Torres perfectly

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason why RVP is successful at arsenal and not Holland - no service
Reason why Torres was successful at Liverpool and not at Chelsea or Spain - service
Torres to Arsenal = complete sense, with his finishing, he could be sensational for us

Agree0 Disagree0

Really guys? We would be getting the short end of this deal. Plus like one poster stated swamp deals don't typically happen btw rivals.

Dont get me wrong I obviously rate Sturbridge and Torres but I would take RSVP and theo. Sturridge is a bit greedy and Torres is a HUGE gamble

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate i think were just realistic gooners, in the fact that every transfer window for the last 10 years i have dreamt that we would make a marquee signing, the kind that puts fear into the opposition only for nothing to happen but lose our best players and replace them with youngsters that are barely known or average players that can do a job.So i think the anger stems from years of disappointment and the feeling of being let down as our rival clubs splash big cash on the players we dream of seeing in an arsenal shirt.and hearing your kind of bulls***, ulitmately leads to disappointment because it aint ever gonna happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love this to happen, but its prob not going to. Swap player deals between rival clubs is rare, but don't u guys remember the gallas - cole swap some years ago? well we didn't think that was gonna happen back then either. But after Chelsea and Di Mateo have had so much patience with Torres, and he just now recently showed signs of the form he had back in the early days in Liverpool i find it hard to believe. Would be stupid of them to offload Torres now.

Agree0 Disagree0

That deal would be bad as fucc

Robin van Persie is not going to the Asian tour.....

Believable20 Unbelievable22

They need to sell him ASAP!! He's not bigger than Arsenal fc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing worse than having a player at your club who does not want to be there! maybe we should cash in but id rarther lose 10 mill and let him go juve then sell to city for higher figure. why did the sheik not just buy arsenal rarther than buying city and poaching (if rvp does go there) 4 of our first team player's?

Agree0 Disagree0

GET HIM OUT FAST HE IS BAD NEWS HANGING AROUND WHEN HE CLEARLY DONT WANT TO STAY

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop shouting!
( If you are too thick to understand, it means it is impolite to post in block capitals- that's the big letters )

Agree0 Disagree0

DRY YOUR EYES

Agree0 Disagree0

Rvp if he goes we need sign a ammazing PLAYER not some french person that will take 3 seasons to get good then we will well him its true we just a selling clup buisness clup we will just end up being a mid table team unless we get usmonov

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not convinced that we do need an 'amazing' player to replace him. Was he really amazing? He had an awesome season, but if others stepped up and scored a few, then we wouldn't need to relay on him so much. A solid ACM improved CB, the Ox having a breakthrough season with Podolski and Giroud really pushing themselves forward, will be more than enough to replace RvP

Arsene made an official bid for M™Baye Niang.
6mil pounds

Believable22 Unbelievable9

Oh goody.. another 1 for the future.. we need immidiate impact! cough up some money and bring in player's who can atleast help us compete now! as a fan who pays outragous somes of money to watch my beloved team its only fair that some of that money should go in to the team!

Agree0 Disagree0

Plenty of people would be happy to take your seat mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll buy your season ticket off you as I am pretty happy thus far with the Transfer Window, and I don't think Arsene has finished yet.

We are beginning to look like a team with a pretty decent squad.

People seem to be forgetting about Wiltshire, if we get M'Vila then excellent, Kos and Song to maybe sign new contracts, Ox with another season, Gervinho and Mertersacker second season improvements, roll on the new season.

From very reliable source.

MVilla will be announced this week either today or Tommorow. Arsenal also have a deal set up for affelay but will prob not be announced before Asia tour.

Seantgooner

Believable11 Unbelievable27

This M'Vila transfer must have been announced like 50 times now.

Sydney Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

So what is your very reliable source?

Agree0 Disagree0

Try looking at proper media sources because I have just read on sky sports news that Rennes have released a statement saying they haven't had an offer from anyone for m'vila yet

Agree0 Disagree0

M'Vila remains with the club(Rennes)despite links to a host of clubs, and Saint Sernin says no deal has yet been agreed for him.
That's what SSN says.

Agree0 Disagree0

According to Rennes they even had a bid for him

Pant

Agree0 Disagree0

Uhmmm, where do u get tht kind of information? whats ur source?...

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone just keeps going on about M'Vila deal being done while Rennes' president just stated how they have not had any formal bids for him at all.

Breaking News: Robin van Persie has re-iterated his position about Arsenal and does not even want to see out his final year as he wants a move this summer. This has prompted Arsenal to remove him from the clubs catalogs and kit ads. Arsene Wenger is unlikely to shop for a replacement as it was stated earlier that Giroud was bought for exactly that purpose.

Lack of ambition beginning to creep in.
Arsene Wenger has gone suspiciously quiet in the transfer window and only m'Vila has been mentioned with some interest. A deal is likely to have been completed subject to a medical.

that's all for now more on RVP as soon as I get it.

Believable15 Unbelievable20

Bull on the M'Vila rumour. Their president has just come out and said that no club has made a proper approach, i.e a bid of any kind, so no fee has been agreed or deal even close. He will be allowed to leave though should the valuation be matched...

Agree0 Disagree0

Lack of ambition beginning to creep in _ you are sounding like RVP
Nasri, Ade & RVP - all about money - some players fall in love with a club and some players fall in love with money - lets find more club players

Agree0 Disagree0

Your just posting what SSN said and even they wouldnt know this quick. Its just speculation. And he was never in the pictures for the Away kit, we saw that last week (he wasnt just removed)

Marty

Agree0 Disagree0

" suspiciously quiet in the transfer market"

Chill out guys, I got this.

We made two "signings" before the window even opened.

We've apparently tabled a bid for Corinthians paulinho (who I admit I know very little about)

We're keen on Affelay and after he turned down a offer from Lille, it's looking like he's wanting to join us if he leaves barca.

We're looking at a midfielder from ligue 1, trust me on that.

Not to mention players from the euros are only now starting to return to their clubs.

As long as we sign players by the end of the window, then relax.

Stop being so impatient.

D {Ed035's Note - Well said

Agree0 Disagree0

This is getting really boring just because you cant see him the purple kit they are still advertising the home shirt with Van P, this means nothing Walcott is in the purple kit does not mean he is staying does it

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger is always quiet about the transfer market, does his work behind closed doors then makes an announcement once the player has signed. This does not mean he isnt working on signing players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just visited the Arsenal.com and he is still on the site. Dont chat sh*t.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is "The Sun" BS...

Agree0 Disagree0

Lack of ambition, rubbish! the giroud deal was already done while arsenal where doing their best to convince rvp to stay.some people just like stirring sh-te
trev the gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you read the newspaper all by yourself?

Agree0 Disagree0

Giroud could be good.. chamahk was meant to be good also.. we can not have an un tested premier league striker be our main target man. i think he is good and so hope he does well but fact is.. epl is not the french ligue 1. if rvp goes, i say try for affelay for the wing and slide theo into the middle.. i think theo would do well given the chance. weakest part of theo's game is supply yet he is our right winger. infront of goal he can be deadly. and he has ample epl experiance..

Agree0 Disagree0

They Didnt Say Giroud Was A Replacement They Said They Bought Him Early In Case Something Like This Happened They Wouldnt Have To Panic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Marty I posted this YESTERDAY it was posted by Ed today!
Arsene Wenger spoke to Mvila during the Euros and everything was done theoretically. Formal negotiations begun on Monday after Mvila came back from holiday.
♚

Agree0 Disagree0

Proper agree with the guy who said "chill out guys, i got this"

just wait and see who and when we get the players in.

remember Wenger has an eye for a transfer and plays his cards very close to his chest!

Romford Gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Really?RVP was right to question Arsenal's ambition IMO I'm tired of bragging about 3rd place and finishing above Spurs!there's no trophy for that! If spending money is what it takes then crack open that cheque book! Giroud and Podolski combined might score approx 40 goals Max! which is not much more than RVP (37) We have a financial Leviathan in the name of Usmanov and were keeping up with Kroenke and Hill-Wood IMO the reason for Our barren run! Kroenke joined the arsenal family in 2007! coincidence? I think not! this system hasn't worked for 7 years change couldn't make it anyworse would it?
Wenger is not the problem...Hill-Wood is!

Agree0 Disagree0

12 hours ago you posted that M'vila would be announced today and Wenger is taking a close look at Munain. Now you say all is quiet and wenger isn't doing anything. Anyone can create BS rumours like this. YOU know zilch about transfers so stop posting crap.
Chess

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure what BS you have been reading - have you even checked the Arsenal website? Just logged on to the 'first-team back in training' page, and every second picture is a close-up of RVP.

I read on bbc and times that we have made a £9m bid for paulinho of Corinthians. Very good young player, any truth in this?

Believable22 Unbelievable16

Inter are also after him, they have already had a bid rejected at around 8 mil

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to say, I trust most things posted on BBC sport. The Times are very reliable as well, so a reasonable level of truth to this I would say.

Agree0 Disagree0

Iv seen it too. very good signing if we can get him

Agree0 Disagree0

No way in hell this guy would get a work permit! Nothing special about him

made up rumour by fake wum account which was picked up by sky italia and now rebounded over here as a story

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont know much about him! what pos does he play, how old old etc? anybody please?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched him on youtube.. i yawned. bog standarded south american. they usually dont adapt here and reminded me alot of denilson!

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks very Very average he doesn't look any better than the young midfielders we have I.e Lansbury, eastmond, frimpong, coquelin etc. Why spend 9 mil on an unproven poor player when Dempsey is available for cheaper

Agree0 Disagree0

Let us just get Ganso. At least he has the "flair" element and reminds me of Juan Roman Riquelme!

Believable19 Unbelievable17

Afellay is a great player.

I think we should get sum english players

Agree0 Disagree0

Back again with more bull***t

Like Liverpool? Hmm

NW {Ed001's Note - didn't do City any harm to have Milner, Lescott and Barry in the team, plus Richards, Johnson etc in the squad.}

^^
yeah but the foreign players made them look good! Didn't help chelsea to have terry, cahill, cole, lampard and sturridge - 6th in the epl. England players are always over rated and over priced. look at a young flopped at man utd

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate. Just because it's me it doesn't mean it's BS. I've even said EUROSPORT so blast them, not me you person.

Agree0 Disagree0

What did those English players do to help City win the League? Only Lescott was a big part and even he nearly threw away the title for City

affelay has rejected a bid from lille as he wants to sign for arsenal. wenger please sign him because he hasnt even signed for us and he is showing commitment to arsenal, + he's class

JW.19

Believable25 Unbelievable12

Don't know how you can say he's class when he's barely played in the last year and was awful at the euros. I hope we avoid him

Paul -Rochester

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with Paul, he's always running after the ball but doesn't do anything with it. A golden retriever can do that. Not too excited about this rumour I have to say

Agree0 Disagree0

He's young and has time to get better. we need him

Agree0 Disagree0

Afellay is NOT good!
Chess

Agree0 Disagree0

He has had bad time with injury's, he is a good player, a season to adapt and to get his fitness up could just make him a great player. rvp says he is good so i am enclined to believe he is! dont forget rvp had a horrible euro's also and we all know how good he is. afterall if we was to get him for 6mill.. and it doesnt work out.. oh well. we spent 15 on arshavin and that hasnt exactly been a sucsess has it? 11 mill on gervinho.. list go's on. for 6 mill we could have a world class player, think its worth a punt at that price personelly!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree 6mil is a not a lot for a player of his class! Im going to be deadfully honest Affelay is a much better than Ramsey, Arshavin and Chamakh!
