i kinda believed what this guy said, ed why do you disagree? and who do you think arsneal will buy? {Ed001's Note - I just can't see Wenger spending the money, certainly not for Mertesacker who is slower than Tony Adams is now. It depends on who is in charge of the transfers after the dust settles, since Dein left Arsenal have struggled to get deals tied up. Until that is sorted I wouldn't expect much to happen in the summer, it is that which has been the problem in previous windows, not Wenger. He was desperate for Reina but he was let down by the club messing about.}

Right, a load of rubbish has been said, and to be frank, we all know whats going to happen in the end, we all get hyped up for the transfer window, people start spreading rumours that we are going to sign a big name, and then BANG it ends. We sign a load of rubbish e.g SQUILLACI.
The takeover is getting people further worked up.

What i see happening is, Arsenal investing in populur names that have good talent, but not superstars.

so this is what i believe;

Ins;
Per Mertesacker
Ben Foster
Micah Richards
Papiss Cisse

Outs;
Andrey Arshavin
Nicklas Bendtner
Emmanuel Eboue
Tomas Rosicky
Abou Diaby
Denilson
Manuel Almunia

However rumours have also started to cirlce that Nasri is on his way out. As much as it would pain me to see this, if this does happen i believe this could be Wenger starting to rebuild the squad.

My preferred line up next season

Surely not too much to ask for.
Baines - £10million
M'vila - £13million (if that)
Falcao - £12 million

That fits nicely into our pathetically small £35million transfer budget. To cover the new wages, which won't be that high anyway, we could sell players like Denilson, Bendtner, Rosicky etc.

Youngsters such as Miyaichi, Lansbury, Bartley, Bothelo should also be given a chance in the firsts next season.

Thoughts? Realistic Ed?
