Must admit I'm surprised. Sky in Italy is saying we rejected it and they are likely to come in with a permanent bid and we are looking too recoup most of what we paid, surely we are not considering selling.

If we were thinking of letting him go or he was unhappy and wants out surely we wouldn't have sold Gabriel in the same window so for that reason alone it sounds a bit far fetched but if you add the fact they are willing to give us what we paid for him thars really far fetched, he wasn't great last season in the main more average than outstanding imo.

Only thing i can think is that we are looking to cash in on him for £35mill-ish and invest in Van Dijk. wishfull thinking of course but surley we are not thinking of letting him go otherwise, madness!
