Hey Ed, if Sanchez leaves, which looks increasingly likely does that affect ozils likely hood to sign a new contract? Or is there other issues delaying him signing?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - the only way it will affect him eden is if he feels that arsenal are selling their best players and will not be contenders, mesut is a winner and will want assurances on the direction the club is going and to be honest who can blame him..

i agree ed that's why we should be trying to land a great player now, that hopefully will encourage them to stay, rather than waiting for them to leave and having to try and replace them in a panic. that's why when we only signed cech and no out field players, i think that was a massive turning point in the wrong direction. had we shown ambition then and really challenged or won everyone would of been happy rather than meekly scraping second on the last day probably isn't what either of them are looking for in their prime

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its hard to argue with any of that eden..

Ed in your honest opinion, do u think sanchez will stay or leave?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its a 50/50 call i would say apex, i think he is pretty happy at arsenal but money always plays a part in negotiations and i expect he will want a substantial rise, it could also depend on how he sees arsenal progressing and he will want assurances on how the club will move forward, its not greed imo but he will not want to spend his best days in a team that are not contending, if i had to put money on it i would suspect he will stay but there are factors that may change that mate..

Thanks ed, one last question sorry, do u have any details on the futures of chambo, wilshere or even gibbs please?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - nothing that is tangible apex but i dont see a future for any of them in an arsenal shirt mate..

Very surprising ed, lol this is the last question, is allegri going to be at arsenal next season

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i will go out on a limb here apex and say no..

Ur helpful ed, last question- do u see wenger staying?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he stayed for this season after a plea from the board apex, he said he wanted to leave last year and as far as i know nothing has changed, i think a lot will depend where arsenal finish this campaign but if i was pushed i would think he will leave..

do you know if we are willing to go anywhere close to what he's asking ed? from his point of view, he's got no real tie to arenal and that is the going rate for a player of his quality and a number of other clubs pay him it. so i can understand him expecting it. but it creates a massive gulf between the players wages if we give it to him so i can also understand why we might be reluctant. but pesonally i hope we pay it, we've been saving all this money for something! :P

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont know what hes asking for eden as reports vary but its certain to be a lot more than his present salary, top world class players like alexis are on mega money and i think arsenal will have to hike his wages significantly if he wants parity with them, the problem will be that if he does get the rise hes asking that all the others will be knocking on the managers door asking for their slice of the cake, its a tough one mate..

Ed025 great information and insight here, thanks.

{Ed025's Note - no probs lucas..

even though wages are ludicrous and frankly disgust me, they what they are and the problem i see is if we aren't willing to match the top wages with him, we certainly won't be able to get a similar quality replacement, because they will also be demanding top wages and will require a huge transfer fee as well, that might be offset by his sale. but they've then got to aclimatise. and very few players are likely to have as much of an influence as him. it seems less risk to me to pay what he wants. an annoying thing as well, is we have to pay the highest ticket prices, but the club don't then back us by matching the top wages!

Ed you have been brilliant, very helpful. I like your opinions. If arsene foes leave if u had to put money on who will replace him who would u say?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - in my opinion (and at this stage it is just that) i think they have a couple of options apex, they could go for the up and coming forward thinking manager like eddie howe or maybe a top european coach like simeone, myself i would not rule out a cheeky little swoop for koeman and i think if they did he would jump at the chance, i would be devastated but i understand that when a club like arsenal come a calling...its not easy to say no mate..

Thanks ed, really appreciate your approaches the last few days mate

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - glad to be of help mate..

How well backed do you think koeman will be by the new owner Ed? He's done good business so far, do you think he will be able to push for top 4 or maybe better? Or Is that unlikely?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - top 4 wont happen this year eden but that is the aim mate, farhad moshiri is backing the manager and funds are available so it looks like good times ahead at goodison...well for now..
