Heard that Wenger is venturing out to the Russian league to take both Honda and Doumbia from CSKA. Would both be good signings and Doumbia will help Gervinho settle in.

Reports in Spain suggest that Barcelona are no longer interested in Cesc but are considering Nasri. Also no deal with Benzema. However Canales may be on his way to the Prem (probably on loan to one of the mid-range teams. Also on another note, talk of Pep Guardiola becoming Arsenal manager are nonsense. It is more likely that Mourinho would take on the challenge when he fails with Madrid. He has said in the past he would love to manage in England again and that he loves London.

It is expected that Juan Mata is to have a medical next week in a deal worth around 22million. Gael Clichy is heading to Roma for a fee of around 7million. Also inside talk at the Nou camp from a physio apprentice on 6 month works experience is that Pep Guardiola is to do 1 more season at Barca and then is set to take over at the Emirates for the 2012/2013 season.

Ed what's the latest on Arsenal and the spuds interest in Falcao? From various sources claiming both made bids in May. Is this one of those deals were we won't hear anything til July 1st? {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware he is not going anywhere. I did hear a rumour that AVB has told him that he will take him with him when he leaves the club after next season.}

I am very close to the club and work for Arsenal as a scout, and I know for a FACT Wenger keep his card very close to his chest and even his coaching staff dont know who he's after, so i very much doubt he would tell his "scouts". So anyone claiming there close to the club and they've been told something about a possible deal, its a lie :L just to clear that up for everyone :)
