Ed, we all hoped you would give us a great summary of positions and targets we are going after. Any joy on that front.
Excited by the Granit signing but nervous that looking at just 2 more signings as I think we need RB cover, CD, winger and CF to truly challenge in EPL and UEFA champ league.
Also - do you think Ospina will stay? If he does then we have two great keepers! Plus one on loan who needs to grow up still.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - I haven't had time to sort that out sorry. Wenger wants to keep Ospina, that is the plan. The other one is for sale.}

Conspiracy theory. As Leicester have made a huge offer for Deeney, could Vardy have agreed the Arsenal deal and all concerned have decided it is best to announce it after the Euros? I can't see Leicester offering a reported £25m for Deeney, without a large sale to pay the majority of the fee.

Ornstein is reporting he's staying at LCFC, so doubtful.

well i think as a career move he made the wrong choice in terms of money and possibly proving himself on a bigger stage consistently, but i have to commend him for sticking to his club who gave him the platform to succeed.

Hope it's true Wenger has a 3 year deal on the table in Wenger we trust.

i think the arsenal board have been very unprofessional in how they are looking for the successor, and to keep wenger mainly due to his loyalties towards the club is not the right answer, as he is currently the scapegoat for all failings.

lets hope they can lineup someone to take the club to another level building on what wenger has done sooner rather than later.

So Wenger to the Japanese media saying "Jamie Vardy is, at the moment, with Leicester City and from what I know he will stay at Leicester".
Wenger has apparently confirmed he's switched away from Vardy. No Vardy for Arsenal so who's the next striker target?

Jovetic by all accounts. I like the player but injuries hampered him in the prem. I think he'd suit our play much better than he suited man city's though.

Arsene says many things Willy not all of which he means, he always plays his cards close to his chest so I wouldn't take to much notice one way or the other.

VG well he once was our target so i think he'd be a great addition. Albeit, I'm up for anyone who'll put the ball in the back of the neck. Oh and even if Walcott does, no one would want to kick his head off the pitch.

G62 yeah we all know how cryptic Wenger's messages could get. I can't wait till he signs a striker. Should we take a gamble on Walcott by giving him the striking role? Could he come alive and find his form next season?

{Ed025's Note - i think you have to give up on that old chestnut willy, the truth is that theo is an average winger and mediocre striker mate..

I was all for Theo getting played up top, before this season the games he did play up front he was getting goals but last season he was given the spot for a few games running n he didn't grasp it at all, shame really, I think if Theo was nurtured from when he joined to be playing as a striker he may well of become class on grass but that wasn't the case n wenger saw him more as a winger.

Onwards n upwards

Who's going to be our new number 9?

I agree 100% JE if we'd had played Theo down the middle 7 years ago he might well have made a top striker but it's unlikely to happen now.

Does Jovetic score many goals? I'm not sure he does nor that he's our answer.
