Yep sad as Arsenal is his boyhood club and you cold tell he always gave it his all when he played, but injury's have killed it for him. It is good that Emery is not scared to make tough calls and be honest with players for the good of the team as whole going forward. Wenger's main weakness was being too loyal to underperforming or injury prone players. I hope he finds the right club for him.

David Ornstein is s**t hot usually so subject to arranging and passing a medical he will be an Arsenal player.
Sokratis will be announced on or after July 1st due to the German tax year.
We face a struggle to sign Torreira because of the World Cup but i am confident we will get him done!

Other signings - I'm not on the hype of N'zonzi tbh but wouldn't say no to him fee dependent. I would like to see a quality winger come in on the left. Martins would be a good signing in that respect.

Excellent news, Dick and Sven are definitely trying to adress the weaknesses and that's got to be extremely positive for us all.

You would think so! City first game will be buzzing! New manager, new squad, good signings! Just need good support from the fans so the emirates is no longer a morgue!

The fans are Dicks to lose Glen mate, I'm sure if the team show much more passion v city at home than they did last season and in the league cup final there will no complaints whatever the result.
City Liverpool United Spurs Chelsea you always hope to win but have to accept they are tough games that can go either way regardless of how well you play. Passion effort organisation commitment are absolute musts and all else is impossible to guarantee.

Not sure why we need N'Zonzi if Torreira is signing. Without N'Zonzi, that gives us Torreira, Xhaka, Elneny, Ramsey, and Maitland-Niles competing for what is most likely 2 positions behind Ozil, assuming Wilshere leaves and Willock is loaned out. No room for him is there?

We may see a high profile departure or two though so who knows - not me!

Wire looking at what you have written, from a defensive point of view, the midfield looks bare, so yes we do need him and we don't need el ninny. Going forward we are ok ish but that isn't our midfield issue, stopping the ball going through is.

Cazorla, wilshire, gone el ninny needs replacing, torreira can't replace all three.

Would like to see us sign Nzonzi, as we only have Maitland-Niles as a true DM and hopefully Torrreira. The days of playing creative/ attacking midfield players at DM are over. Emery may also consider playing Xhaka alongside Torreira, although I have a feeling Xhaka will be deployed slightly fiurther forward.

Is Maitland Niles a DM?

Not for me g62. Much more a multi-talented CM, at a stretch you could call him box to box. More like Ramsey than Coquelin if I had to compare.
