I didn’t mean anything by it, I’ve seen what Ed put up but didn’t see an answer to my question, and that’s a genuine reply I meant no disrespect at all, and I don’t think I deserved that reply off you Shambo it was a genuine question with no harm meant sorry if it came across that way Ed.

He has only just returned to this page having been angered by comments made by another poster.
Reading ed02’s reply it’s clear to me that Arsenal have no interest in the player as we bought Partey instead. So your reply wasn’t the best.

Well while we’re all apologising I’ll offer up same to VM. I misinterpreted the sentiment which can easily happen reading text.
Like many I’m a long time reader on this site. If your around as long as I am respect for the scope of what the Ed’s do here comes very easily.
It irritates me when people take for granted the info that’s shared and mistake it for real-time concrete inside knowledge as if the Ed’s are sitting in on negotiations as they happen.
As such, to expect a ‘Yes or No’ definitive answer to a question that popped into your head and is relevant solely to you to satisfy your curiosity in the moment seems more than a little unreasonable if you regularly read the depth of info that is shared by the Ed’s and the time that not only goes into updating the site for us readers, but also obtaining the information in the first place.
The Arsenal page has some great posters, but without the Ed’s we can forget about it so let’s appreciate what we have, yeah?
Not solely aimed at you VM I’m sure you recognise that there’s been previous on here that’s affected the sharing of content for the rest of us. ??.

It's a pity such an innocuous question provoked such a hostile response. Used to enjoy the fun, jovial side to this site but certain people seem hell-bent on creating a toxic atmosphere every transfer window.
