{Ed002's Note - The club and agents are working hard at completing sales to begin recovering the funds being spent. Dani Ceballos, David Luiz and Martin Odegaard have departed. Dinos Mavrapanos will stay at Stuttgart for another year with an option, rather than obligation to buy. Talks are actively being held to sell Granit Xhaka (DM), Lucas Torreira (DM) and Matteo Guendouzi (CM/DM) as Arsenal have accepted they need to be more realistic over asking prices but none are complete at this time and Torreira may now drag out with two interested sides. Efforts are being made to sell Willock. Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah are available at the right price. I am not sure if their is a decsion on Smith Rowe just yet but I doubt Arsenal will sell. Ainsley Maitland-Niles wants assurances Arsenal may not give and that will drive any sale. Alexandre Lacazette - proving difficult to find interested potential buyers.}

Hi Ed I know it was only a week ago you gave info on Locatelli but since then it seems we have lodged an "important bid " according to Sassuolo. Do you know if the bid is close to their asking price and is the player interested in joining us? Thanks in advance COYG.

{Ed002's Note - Manuel Locatelli (DM) Juventus have tried and failed on a number tried to take him from Milan and now Sassuolo without luck with the player saying he wants the move but cannot see how he will get a game in Turin and that is the only issue to resolve. Real Madrid have him on their list of optional targets to Camavinga. Milan would like him back whilst his agent has said Sevilla, Chelsea and Manchester CIty provide options but not as first choice. Arsenal have made an approach to Sassuolo through a third party.}

We're only 'ahead in the race' so to speak because we're the only team to make a formal offer.
"There is interest from Juventus, we haven't explored all the terms and evaluations but we have an excellent relationship with Juventus so we will continue these talks. It's true that other clubs from abroad are interested, Arsenal are one of these and they are ahead of everyone else because they tabled the only concrete offer we have received so far".
Personally I can't see this going anywhere for us but of course it would be great if did happen. I dread to think what our 'concrete offer' is but no doubt it's nowhere near the asking price.

HaHa Glenn or an offer nowhere near the asking price plus a pound! I read he wasn`t nailed on for Juve as couldn`t see where he could get a game. Whereas he would for us I guess. Remains to be seen but I`m interested to see if we still are taking the p8ss with low offers ( some would argue prudent in current times ) or have we identified definite targets and gone Boom and offered at least close to the asking price and stop embarrassing us on the world and domestic stage. I`ve long stopped worrying about transfer fees and wages etc and let others worry about it - we`ve all got enough on our plates without worrying about that! Used the word worry too many times! No worries COYG.

You're not wrong there Sussex mate. My only concern is selling players for the right price, or for any price for that matter. None of the sales are near completion yet with the closes probably being Xhaka to Roma. We really need to offload and we seem to be struggling.
I am pleased with the sort of players that we are being linked with which is awesome but if we don't manage to offload a large portion of players we'll just be overcrowded again.
We seem to be doing business relatively quietly so I'm going to sit back and keep everything crossed that move players on for a good cumulative figure.
