Believable4 Unbelievable13

Seeing as this is the Arsenal page im guessing he is talking about arsenal {Ed027's Note - no as, this guys a nobody

Agree0 Disagree0

Omg the same questions every time, please. just. stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed: who in your opinion will possibly join Arsenal this summer? {Ed002's Note - Podolski, Vertonghen, M'Vila.}

Believable16 Unbelievable3

Really you think they will sign both M'villa and Vertonghen? i personally dont see the need for both?
dan

Agree0 Disagree0

The question was 'Possibly' so Ed could list 10 with only 1 to sign and still be right !

Blobby

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they not sign both, Dan? Yes I understand JV CAN play CDM but he and M'Vila are both different players who DO PLAY in different positions...

Not sure why you don't see the need, for both?

=M.A.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vertoghen is as much a DM as song is a CB

Ed, would there be any interest in Shay Given as a reliable back up to Shezza should Aston Villa be relegated? In my own opinion, he is and has been one of the best prem keepers of the last twenty years.

Shayman {Ed002's Note - I would doubt it.}

Believable3 Unbelievable13

He left Man City because he was backup. He wants 1st team football.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope we don't spend to much on a reserve goalkeeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we'll sign Gordon or mcgregor ..

Ed do you happen to know if any potential deal for Vertonghen has been agreed upon as has been reported by the media recently?

Sydney Gooner {Ed002's Note - Agreed upon? No.}

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Hi ed - have you heard much about this deal? From what I am hearing this is still just media speculation - nothing has really happened.

Billybob {Ed002's Note - I suspect a deal will happen.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Fingers crossed! Big statement of intent for RVP. :)

Billybob

M'vila and/or a CAM would make my summer!

Agree0 Disagree0

There has been a lot discussed between the clubs, including a fee although not finalised. Personal terms [should it go ahead] have been discussed and INformally agreed between JV/Arsenal...

Also note RvP follows a lot of players on Twitter including Kaka and VDV; but he only quite recently began following Vertonghen... Take that, for what it is.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

When Vertonghen came to Arsenal vs Milan. Van persie, Vermalaen, Santos , Arteta and Vertonghen all went to a resturant together. That could explain rvp following Vertonghen

Just a quick question to some posters on here. This fella Belhanda that plays for Montepillar.. Does he just play in the CAM position behind the striker or can he play on the wing as well or even deeper in midfield? Honestly I having never seen him play a live game so I can't judge but a lot of people on here seem excited about the prospect of him coming so I would like to know a bit more about him. There's only so much you tube and stats show/tell you.
Thanks
RD {Ed002's Note - He will play as an attacking midfield player or wider. There is interest from confirmed interest in Belhanda from Bayern Munich, Arsenal and PSG and there is unconfirmed interest from Liverpool, Inter and Roma. The player wishes a move to Germany with Bayern Munich or Dortmund or to play for PSG if that is not possible.}

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Arsenal will unveil our next two signing yuhan m,villa and jan vathogen last league game . Gunner4ever.

Believable15 Unbelievable13

Wow!
all these new signings at an away fixture for the baggies faithful to adore as well as the 2/3 thousand travelling support {Ed002's Note - None of these transfers can go though until July 1 - until then they remain employees of another club.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed but they can be announced just the signature and arrival has to wait ;)

Hmmm, Daily Mirror saying Vertonghen is next on our list after Podolski. On 27th April the Metro mentioned we were in 'advanced talks' over M'Vila regarding what they think to be a £22m deal. However, there's been no mentio since the 27th to now, and today they're saying we're after Belhanda.

Jan verthongen is on the verge of signing for arsenal. A fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

Believable22 Unbelievable8

I'm sure we'll sign him but not sure if it's worth it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he'll be worth it. A mate of mine is lives in Amsterdam, is a keen Ajax fan raves about him week in week out. When we signed the Verminator, he said we signed the wrong Belgian, as Verthongan is a monster defender. I'll take his word for his worth, seeing as he watches and has watched him play every week. We'll see I suppose, eh? I really hope he signs!

Agree0 Disagree0

I've heard exactly the same as above vertonghen is superior to vermaelen, if that's the case hope we do get him ;)

I think he knew what you meant unknown poster. Its just that with this ed you have to ask him transfer related questions or else he just won't take you seriously. Trust me on this mate because I say this from personal experience.

Arjen Robben to arsenal confused but i will take it not saying this rumours is true its something which has appeared on twitter so ed has arsenal showed interested i know arsenal aint stoping just at podolski in regards as attacking or forwards but Arjen Robben wow i will take rvp podolski Arjen Robben deadly

Believable8 Unbelievable15

I for one wouldn't want him anywhere near Arsenal. He has an ego the size of a barn door, is selfish and would upset the dressing room.
A big fat no from me, and can't see Arsene risking it, let alone what extortionate wages he would require.....In my opinion a non-starter.

Kermit79

Agree0 Disagree0

RvP gets frozen out when playing for Netherlands when Robben and Sneijder refuse to involve him. Robben is a selfish player and I do not think he would fit in at Arsenal under Wenger. Good Player though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love him to be at arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

3 left footed attackers may be a little too excessive

Agree0 Disagree0

We need player like him, selfish, but very effective wen we need a goal seeing as hes quite selfish but a goal machine! nt sure bout his wages tho! perhaps too selfish for a regular

news are heating up saying that vertonghen is nearly done/done deal ed - how likely will vertonghen will be sighning is it practically nearly done {Ed002's Note - There is a very good chance he will sign.}

Believable17 Unbelievable2

Now we have confirmed the signing of Podolski, I would love to see us sign Vertonghen, M'Vila, Craig Gordon (as cover) & push the boat out & sign Hazard.We would then be ready to challenge for honours.
Costs - Podolski £10m, Vertonghen £10m, Gordon (free? I think his contract is up?), M'Vila £17m & Hazard £35m - Total = £72m

Sales - Djourou £4m, Squilacci £1m, Arshavin £6m, Vela £4m, Bendtner £7m, Lansbury £2m, Chamakh £6m, Park £2m. Denilson £4m, Fabianski £2m.
Total = £38m

Net spend £34m

The wages would probably take care of themselves with 6 more players out than in, including releasing Benayoun.

Believable22 Unbelievable9

We won't get Hazard, If he was coming he would of a year ago, he's just holding out for the most money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely we can get more than 4m for vela considering how well he is doing

bs18

Agree0 Disagree0

Hazard is 99% gone to Man City. You can bet on it. Don't delude yourself with dreams of him coming cos he's not in all honesty. And there's no way we'd go for him now we have Podolski to add to Gervinho, The Ox and Theo (with Ryo as a future winger after a few seasons).

M'Vila is definitely an option (got released on bail today from police tho) and Vertonghen is strong rumour.

This month is crucial as June is start of Euros. I hope for two signings in the next few weeks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure who you think would ever pay £6 million for Chamakh! Everyone knows we got him for free and he couldn't score in a brothel.
Some of your other valuations also look very hopeful

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't we sign Park for £2 million who has only one year remaining before military service?

Agree0 Disagree0

Park's military service delayed for 10 yrs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is gona pay £4 miil for Denilson, Who is gonna pay £6 mill for Chamak, Who is gonna pay 50 p for Barry Bender, one accurate answer will be appreciated, cos i can't think of one !

Agree0 Disagree0

I think most of his figures are pretty much correct (imo) if andy carroll was sold for £35m anything is possible, i really don't think the sums he quoited were extortionate at all

Agree0 Disagree0

We will take hazard thanks for scouting for us! u can have ur nasri reject back too wen we get hazardous!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you really think clubs will pay these amounts for players we could not sell last year, and who have gone out on loan and not set the world on fire , then if one of denilson, barry bender go for the figures stated i will eat my proverbial hat and say how clever you are !

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin and chamakh sell them for more

Agree0 Disagree0

After Younes Belhanda and Mario Bolatti

Believable6 Unbelievable19

These players will come with much higher wages and high signing on fees so I would increase the net spend to well over 50mil

If Vertonghen and Mvila do join, is it possible that Wenger would offload Squillaci and send Ramsey out on loan.

Believable15 Unbelievable13

I think he will defitely offload the woeful Squilacci somehow. Ramsey will not depart. I believe Wenger will let Benayoun go. Frimpong is out until the autumn at least & afterwhich I thing Wenger will send him out on loan to gain fitness & valuable playing time. He will also sell Arshavin. Thus, there will be plenty of space in the squad for M'Vila.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey would not leave, he is one of ou best midfielders

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see why not. We could loan the Ox back to Southampton in the January transfer window as well along with Frimpong and Ryo if they don't get much game time. Although Ramsey probably needs a season long loan.

Sydney Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant see him sending the ox out on loan after making such a great impression this season, ramsey either, even though the latter has failed to deceive in many games

read that according to an "reliable" spanish radio source that arsenal have made an offer for susaeta from bilbao. he's only got one year left on his contract. heard anything ed? what do people think? i hope its true personally, i think he'd be a great signing, watched him a few times in europa league this season. old school winger, very fast and direct, beats a man, great crossing, clinical finishing. {Ed002's Note - Real Madrid, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris St Germain are interested in Athletic Bilbao's Markel Susaeta but I am not aware that any offers have been made.}

Please Arsenal, please sign Yossi at the end of the season. He came here against many odds, got his head down and turned out to be one of our best players this season. As far as I am concerned he is Arsenal through and through and I would welcome him to the fold permanently with open arms. He deserves it, he is more than good enough for us, and we are lucky to have had him there this season. Do it. Sign him up. Please!

Believable25 Unbelievable10

I thin Benayoun has been excellent for the club, but I dont think he is worth resigning for next season, when we should hopefully have Wilshere & Abu Diaby back. I would like to see us sign M'Vila & Hazard.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think some of us do not appreciate hard working players as much as the glitter or star Names...Benayoun is a player any decent manager should want in their team...they are real team players...he came in worked hard and improved our pressing game and urgency on the ball which is what you need to be successfull...he also has the right attitude (unlike your bendtner etc..) thus wants to do well whenever he is on the pitch (as a starter or substitute)...that kind of attitde and the fact that he is possession-type player...is v good to have in your 'Arsenal' when the season gets towards winter....
ES

Agree0 Disagree0

Granted he's done well, but he's done well everywhere he's been because he's a top professional,not because he's arsenal through and through..
Drakey

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that you yossi trying to convince us to pay those wages?
