Arsenal to accept bid from juventus for rvp. Looks like he's goin lads.

Good bloody riddance.

Agree1 Disagree0

I can't wait to see the back of any player that doesn't want to be part of our club. I have read that although wenger wants more than 25m for rvp, the board will overrule him and accept anything they consider reasonable.

I don't want llorente, we can get better more youthful talent than him. We should do all in our power to gain the services of ganso, promote miyachi and put walcott in a central attacking position just like he was at southampton when he became the proven player and scored so many more times!

Word on the s'tweet' (see what I did there?) is that Juventus have put in a reasonable bid for RvP which is very close to being accepted. It seems Arsenal would rather accept a lower bid to sell him abroad rather than a higher bid from Man U or City. Personally, I'm happy with that. Whatever the fee, it'll be a substantial profit on the £2.75 million (!) originally paid. Also, given his injury record and his age, this will be good business. I wish him the best, and am sure he'll thrive in Italy.

Believable20 Unbelievable13

I hope this is TRUE. If he is going id rather it be abroad. Good luck v.persie

...and RVP to Juve is still 9/2...

Stezza.

Agree1 Disagree0

AGREED!

Agree0 Disagree1

Surely playing for juve in a s***, corrupt league is a step down?

Agree2 Disagree1

What a way to screw up a potential legacy. He will be remembered for nothing if this rumour is true.

Agree3 Disagree0

^no. At least they win titles.

Agree2 Disagree1

^ and they have them stripped away for cheating!

Agree4 Disagree0

Lol I'm sure he'll thrive in Italy as well, play in a worse league with worse fans, corruption and scandal

Agree2 Disagree0

Totaly agree mate, wish rvp all d best but bet he crocks up again before christmas !! wenger will spend this summer...

Agree1 Disagree1

Wish him all the best> I hope wherever he goes he is an utter flop stuff him.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hope he leaves, yet another player leaving due to wenger and arsenals lack of ambition, will struggle to finish in top 4nexr year.we will soon be a mid table club the way we are going

Agree0 Disagree3

There is no profit in the sale of Van Persie. He may have only cost us 2.75m but think of all the wages whilst he was injured. Probably cost us upwards of 15m. I just hope if he is sold that it will be another league. Be it the s*** Italian league or whatever.

Agree2 Disagree0

Just want to know if he does a rooney style u turn and stays will you's choke on them words?

I personally want him to complete his contract if for no other reason than to show these big spending clubs that ARSENAL FC is not a feeder club and the board still has cohones!

Milan prepare to launch a double bid for Van Persie and Verm, to replace Ibro and Thiago Silva.

I dont want to say a figure because I dont have enough evidence to back it up, but I think it will be around £35

Elliott

Believable8 Unbelievable28

Even if this is true, which it isn't, Arsenal would reject is ASAP. Perhaps if ACM came with a bid for RVP only, then perhaps they would consider it.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of this happening. And 35 million isn't enough anyway. Arsenal wouldn't accept that.

Agree0 Disagree0

£35! I'll buy for £40.....

ADL.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sure TV said he wanted to en his career at arsenal plus barca were interested in him so if he had to choose pretty sure I he ever chose to leave barca would be the destination

DD

Agree0 Disagree0

Milan are skint hence they sold them

Paul - Rochester

Agree0 Disagree0

Er, but you did say a figure you mongoose

Agree0 Disagree0

Milan are having financial issues, replacing their two stars, with two players who will earn similar wages (especially RVP) and command a hefty fee, considering TV5 renewed fairly recently.

Which brings me to my second point, TV5 says he wants to stay here for life, he recently renewed his contract, as did Laurent Koscielny, meaning our CB pair is secured till around 2016.

There's a distinct chance they'd go for RVP, no chance of tv5.

Agree0 Disagree0

(used distinct incorrectly, should of put slight)

LOOOOL Milan wants Bendtner as Zlatans replacement.

GANSO DEAL IS OFF - Arsenal had started negotiations to bring Ganso to the club following the Olympics but have now called them off after Declir Sonda of DIS who own 55% of Ganso's economic rights refused to release the player under any circumstances. It's the Same as the Tevez set up and Arsenal do not wish to buy a player and pay him 80,000 a week for the player to only receive 35k a week after DIS have taken their cut. Apparently this was why Gazidis was at Colney to meet the players representatives for one last try to work out an offer to buy him completely from DIS. The source of this info is a good friend of mine in the legal business. Shame really he looked the business.

Believable27 Unbelievable23

Sounds very believable. hope we get Cazorla then.

Agree0 Disagree3

It never was on

Agree0 Disagree1

That is b*******. His agent and Santos have confirmed he is leaving this summer. Arsenal is a huge brand, much much much bigger then Santos, why would they do such a thing when he is leaving?

CT

Agree1 Disagree0

Chelsea will buy him.........

Agree0 Disagree1

This deal was never on

Agree0 Disagree1

Not necessarily true. DIS owns the 55% yes but are trying to move him on to another club. DIS are currently negotiating with Santos to buy up the remaining 45% to have complete ownership of the player. Much like Tevez and Mascherano, there is a possibility of him being loaned to a European club and that is where Arsenal currently come into this. A loan deal could be struck with a view for it to be made permanent. DIS are an investment company and Ganso coming to Europe will heighten his profile and increase his valuation, assuming he does well. There is a possibility that Arsenal might not be able to afford the valuation to make it permanent, however it is extremely likely for a loan deal be extended beyond one season. There is also a chance of another Brazilian club buying the 45% share from Santos, something Internacional (spelling?) have been supposedly interested in doing as Ganso has stated that he would be happy to remain in Brazil but is adamant he will not play for Santos again. One thing is for certain, DIS are definitely not ready to sell their 55% just yet

Aaron Ramsey not leaving Arsenal at all, despite average form the gunners are more than willing to keep hold of him as has a bright future, they looking to pit Ramsey and Henri Lansbury against each other and will likely sell 1 of them next summer if dont come up to scracth.

Believable26 Unbelievable11

Lansbury isn't coming on tour, seems his arsenal time is up.

Agree2 Disagree1

Henri is injured has a slight shin problem from his twitter account

DD

Agree2 Disagree0

Ganzo will not leave santos until he runs out of contract unless a bid of 50m is offered and 200k a week

Agree1 Disagree1

Lansbury is highly regarded by the arsenal coaches which is why he goes out on loan to gain experience, he also signed a new deal last summer, only problem being they not sure what his best position is.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lansbury is one for the future! Him, wilshere and the ox will link up nicely for the arsenal one day. England youth!

Agree1 Disagree0

Have to agree there ive always liked Lansbury seen him a few times and like the look of him loves to get forward and doesnt mind taking a crack at goal, positional play is suspect but he is only young... be great to see a midfield of Ramsey, Wilshere, Ox, Lansbury and Theo!!

Wilfried Zaha just spotted at the Emirates!!

Believable6 Unbelievable37

Fair play.sure he ll enjoy the emirates tour..

Agree1 Disagree0

What, a tool. Why would he be at the Emirates? Think about it? Everyones in Asia on pre season tour. Do you think that they do business in the actual stadium? Teams spend a lot of time and effort keeping these things under wraps, nowhere more stealth than the Emirates Stadium! Bell.

Agree1 Disagree0

I was spotted at the Emirates, yesterday!!
