Feel that's fair Steve considering what they have both achieved internationally.

You can keep him.

If Sanchez is leaving, I think it makes it more important we keep Ox. Why would we sell him to a rival but not sell sanchez to city?

well there is quite a difference in their quality!

Let him leave.

Just because we are not in CL the man wants out?

It's a team game, if we didn't qualify, he's part of the reason.

Man's a bottler.

Totally agree, we played in the Cl for all those years and we finished 5th with him in the "team"
If TH14 was there he would have dragged us into the top 4!

Rumours suggesting we have been offered Rafinha from barcelona! Not seen much of this guy but the figure being reported is 30£/ €m.

Do the eds know of any interest from our side and if the reports are true, also says that we have first choice on him, wonder why we have first refusal?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - There is no "first choice". But he will be moving on this summer.}

Apparently he like the treatment room, so just right for us then.

Long time reader and fan of the site. Iv been hoping for a run down from the eds, particularly ed 002, on the current state of play in our club regarding the inevitable outgoings and possibility of further recruitment.
Unfortunately everything seems quite with few responses everywhere except for the Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Man Utd pages.
I appreciate the eds have more on their plate than repeating old news or being badgered for news where there isn't any, especially on pages where iv read certain eds have long since given up taking their time tp share due to idiots looking to deliberately sabotage it for everyone else, but surely there must be some knowledge of the potential departures of Gibbs, Chambers, Walcott, Debouchey, Ospina, Walcott and of course the futures of Sanchez, Ox and Giroud?
I read every other clubs pages also as i'm intrigued by what the eds share, and I might be snatching at straws but could I please ask ed 002 if he could elaborate on his statement on Evertons page today where he commented on the potential knock on effect a Giroud/ Gilfi arrival could have where you stated that Arsenal are currently exploring the idea or tracking another striker. I ask because our well documented pursuit of lemar and mahrez is still in the works and this much activity from Wenger would actually be very encouraging even. if it were not to fully develop as yhe club hopes, even if this striker target were only secondary to lacazette it still shows Wenger is willing to risk cutting loose a few who have had their chances in favour of potential risks, its what we need to freshen things up regardless.
Thanks to all the eds and I hope someone can find the time to shed some light on where we are at at this moment. Thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - It is neither of those two - taht is all of the elaboration I will give at this time.}

Interesting from ed002 it looks like we are looking at someone else other than mahrez and lemar, would it be mbappe by any chance? we can only hope.

Think about Wengers style Jelfy, i'd imagine its a secondary striker in the 15-20m bracket or maybe, with our current situation, a player exchange involving sanchez potential move to city and Iheanacho, or the Oxs proposed move to Liverpool and Sturridge who we know Wenger is a fan of. Either way its going to be a proven PL striker he's not going to risk the balance completely. notice how I omitted the fantasy that was Aguero joining in exchange for Sanchez. 😂.

Linked with rafinha today. Don't need him, so we're probably going to pad an already taken position because we all know Wenger loves a midfielder, unless they're defensive of course.

Doesn't he okay cm or attacking mid. With cazorla out for so long why not?!

While I understand your point, santi is a special player, of course, rafinha won't be able to fill that void I don't think. 3even if he could, surely with santi out, we need to take this opportunity to sign a PROPER defensive midfielder. We keep signing xhaka's and elneny's, playing Ramsey's or wilsheres. That is not the kind of player we need, we have 3-4 similar style players who are all about as good as each other and battle for an overcrowded position. Sell wilshere, sell Ramsey, cash in on both. Ramsey has had his chance to prove and season after season (aside from the obvious one) he's not been up to standard, move aside, let xhaka take that position and prove he's capable and play him alongside a Danilo Pereira/ Bakayoko mould player.

i agree. a top quality centre mid is a prioroty imo. ramsey is injured at least twice a season, coquelin and elnenny aren't good enough.
why do we have to settle for them, they haven't been good enough to win the league last few seasons so why would they be this season?
centre mid is where games are won and lost and we are not good enough in that area im afraid. its been obvious for a few years and still not addressed.
