Get in now we know why Ramsey Started!
What a finish!

Bermy Gooner

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Just a joke but it was a poor attempted finish after delightful build up, Ramsey had a decent game tonight though.
I think/hope why people get on Ramsey's back is because of how much is expected of him because he has been in better form before. I can remember a time when Ramsey played about a 40 yard defense splitting laser guided inch perfect pass against West Ham in a cup game. He was on form then getting a few goals and even more assists. I hope to see that more often.

Pass was actually in champions league against Olympiacos I think

I think also that after he scored against Marseille in the CL that AW talked up how he was so much of a 'finisher' and since then he has looked just like that 'attempt' last night in front of goal - like he is not sure where they are or how to get the ball near them...

Ramsey's a decent player

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasnt been the same player since injury.. Not sure there is a Diaby waiting time before the player gets better ... PET

Ramsey the new Denilson!
Useless

Believable26 Unbelievable20

Been saying it for ages, we struggle when Ramsey in on, he is to slow, plays backwards and goes missing, can't beleive he stayed on pitch...

Great result though, Gooners...

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think he is the new denilson. He is a good player, I just don't think playing in such advanced roles suit him.

Agree0 Disagree0

GIve him a break, he is young player in his first full Premier League season, after a career threatening injury. In his defence, I am not certain the formation Wenger uses suits him. The same goes for Gibbs, who is clearly not a defender & would be better used in midfield. Rosicky looks superb in Fabregas's old role, rather than playing wide. Arshavin also is not a wide player & would have looked better in the Fabregas role.

Agree0 Disagree0

I Dont agree. Top player in my eyes with a lot of potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy was played out of position against Everton. Fabregas just the same when he first started to gtet chances - goals came following season. Lay off the guy - top prospect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the hate, hes so young and still getting back from a bad break, have faith people

Eds any news on clubs looking to poach Rahim Sterling from the Liverpool youth set up? {Ed002's Note - No.}

ed any info on who the reserve player of ours that could be heading to reading on loan for the rest of the seasson is? also where may farfan end up in the summer when his contract is up,cheers
big dickey {Ed002's Note - Assuming Farfan does move, I expect Italy with Inter, Juventus, Palermo or Roma most likely. However, interest from England will not be out of the question and several clubs (Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea to name but three) are looking for wide players. Schalke made it clear that they would sell in January for 7M euros, but a niggling injury kept buyers away. As such, he will be available for a free transfer this summer. I cannot help of the Reading player.}

hoilett will be 22 on 5th june... will compensation still have to be paid on him if his signed then? {Ed002's Note - Yes - the threshold is 23.}

Believable1 Unbelievable4

We'd have to pay then fair compensation, usually decided by a court as clubs rarely agree, however I only see him coming IF arsh leaves, even then we have Walcott, Gervinho, oxlaide-chamberlainand santos who can all play on the wing with the addition of vela and poldi (if they stay/join respectively)

Ed - are reporting that RVP could use the Webster Ruling to leave on a free this summer (save for paying off 1 year's wages). do you know if there is any truth in this?

Oleg Maputo {Ed002's Note - I think there is zero chance of it happening - I would just ignore it.}

Believable4 Unbelievable13

Yea he doesnt seem like a guy whose soo unhappy that he would pull that stunt and hurt his image at the club which he has brought to near legend status.

Just media doing their usual crap, stir the pot nonsense.

Robin will sign a new contract providing wenger gets a signing or two early, while he is obviously in favour of extra wages, more important to him is a trophy or two, robin wants to challenge for them, the guy likes arsenal and knows that we stuck by him when he was written off as a "problem player" if we don't sign at least one top player, I won't blame him for leaving, but I still see poldi joining (lazio aren't challengers for a trophy, we are/will be and we also seem to be building a strong German contingent) and possibly Goetze ( however I don't see him leaving Dortmund just yet) bellhanda or M'villa would add to our midfield and the possible signing of vertongen gives us a top utility signing.
