wow one bad game everyone is up in arms lol chill out there is plenty more of the season to go. Arsenal will be going for the title this season i know we are 10 points behind but 3 games and boom we are back in it. We have the talent and will come back it is one game i will bet that every top team will do the same this season.

Yeh but after 8 games we're 10 points behind Chelski, as the season goes on we'll keep saying don't worry it's only one defeat. Accepting how bad we are isn't acceptable anymore.

We need to win these 3 games and Chelsea lose 3. If you watched us against Norwich you will realise we will be very very lucky if we finish top four in fact we will be lucky to make europe at all.
Also we only played well against Liverpool and Southampton in the league this year so I disagree

It is not one bad game - it is nearly 8 seasons of failing to deliver. It is simply not good enough to be beaten by Norwich and only manage scoreless draws against Stoke and Sunderland. It is the same old story and always will be with Wenger in charge. He has been fantastic for the club and I don't like to criticise him, but he just does not have any idea how to break down teams who defend in numbers and we are quite an easy team to defend against as we have such poor wide players. I think that enough is enough and I sympathise with the fans who paid good money to watch a bunch of overpaid lazy players who simply did not try.

We dont have a prayer of winning the league! u know we wont get anything at old trafford and then probably be 13 points behind , am not being negative just realistic , this teams no where near good enough for the title , another battle for 4th with spurs everton and newcastle is the best we can hope for , then next year we might lose koscielny or walcott or sagna as every other summer , its depressing and true!

Like many, I am disgusted our lazy and arrogant approach to the match at Carrowroad. There are problems that need to be sorted out soon.

I hear a lot of criticism for Giroud, whe in fact I thoughthe showed heart and determination yesterday. He received ZERO support from the area of the park that we need to work on...our wings.

Poldolski, I'm thinking, is not suited as a LW in this league. He lacks the pace and trickery.

Gervinho is ineffective on the right (he refuses to cut inside, He does it so effortlessly on the left).

We need to be looking at a world class winger. My vote would go to Jesus Navas so long as his anxiety issues are under control.

Wilshere will act as a spark plug for our midfield upon return.

I would disagree with Poldi not being fast enough, but skill wise, you're right.

Thing is, that's not his game, he's a typical German workhorse.

If we don't play him as a striker, then LM is where he will stay I think.

We were horribe yesterday.

Giroud is just not very good. He can hold up the bal well enough but he does not have the ability to beat anyone or create his own chances. Did he even have a shot? Gervinho is a winger who refuses to cross, this is ridiculous especially if we are playing Giroud through the middle. I personally think the 4-3-3 formation does not work with Giroud and if Wenger wants to play Giroud then we must go 4-4-2. Alternatively if we go 4-3-3 we need to go with Podolski, Walcott and Gervinho.

I think the major problem we have is that if Cazorla is not at his best then we create nothing, I pray that wilshere can add some creativity. The other problem is we just pass the ball to death instead of actually trying to run at the opposition. We have the players to beat people lile Theo, Gervinho and Chamberlain but they have been molded to just pass. We are in serious trouble if we do not sort things ASAP and for me a top top striker (not from the french league) is a must. Giroud is another Chamakh and we are screwed if this is are attack all season.

The performance against Norwich was a disgrace and Mannone, Ramsey and Gervinho are not fit to wear the shirt - get rid! This season we have failed to score against Sunderland, Stoke and Norwich - pathetic!

Agree1 Disagree0

Arrogant is the correct word, I've often found us to be lackadaisical in small games, Fergie wouldn't allow that

I will not go on and on about the match yesterday as I feel it has already been "bantered" about enough, but I will say that I can no longer defend Aaron Ramsey. He had the benefit of the doubt from me since returning from his injury...but it has become quite apparent he is simply not of the calibre to play in our first team, and needs to be moved on. He brings nothing to our attack, and at times actually hinders it. Sorry Aaron, you have had plenty of time to show us something and you haven't. Also....Gervinho is nothing but Chamakh with braids. He is infuriating to watch.

North Carolina Gooner.

Believable24 Unbelievable9

Its funny how you can turn this around by saying when he plays well we play well

watford gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

When whole team plays well then he can make contribution.
he is not the type of player who can make team better.
he had some good games over the years but every player has few good games, you cannot suck all the time.
with players like him arsenal cannot win anything.
time to sell him while we can still get something for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Afraid I have to agree, Ramsey slows the play down whenever he gets the ball. He either plays it sideways or back and doesn't take responsibility, It looks as if the broken leg is still hampering him psychologically and he may never achieve his potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just remember Ramsey is 5 or 6 choice in this position but as usual we have injuries - Wilshire, Arteta, Diaby, Santi and the Ox are all ahead of Ramsey - we need to resolve the continuing injury crisis we have at our club - oh and dont forget Rosicky

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey was shocking...

Arsenal will put in a bid of 18million euro (£14.6million) for Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez, according to a report.

claim that Arsene Wenger will offer the Spanish side the value of Lopez's release clause as soon as the transfer window opens at the beginning of January, The website adds that Wenger is willing to put in the bid as soon as the window opens rather than wait until the end of the month.

Believable19 Unbelievable6

We're unlikely to get a free run at Lopez, several other teams v. interested. {Ed002's Note - I thought that although Adrian Lopez was of serious interest to Arsenal, with Podolski and Giroud arriving interest would have waned - but it hasn't. Spurs also showed interest in the player but their bid was rejected.
