This where arsenal mess around over 1 million and another club will come in lol

Agree3 Disagree0

Pretty much all transfers are paid in installments.
Barcelona paid £35 million for Fabregas over 5 years - they are still paying Arsenal!

I've had a phone call and the Aurier deal is done mate. Seriously.

You sure goldboy or have u been puffing malagas magic pipe?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we only have 100m to spend then every 1m counts
We don't want to overpay and its part of negotiating
1m is still a lot of money - I like our attitude and I don't always believe the negotiated numbers etc in the papers

Agree0 Disagree0

Sometimes Arsenal's parsimony on transfers baffles me.
Aurier hopefully will be a roaring success at the Emirates, otherwise what's the point in committing ourselves to £15 million in wages over the next 5 years. With that potential outlay, why the hassle over £1 million?
2 options as I see it.
a) Incentivise the £1 million up to £1.5 million over the length of the contract or
b) Accept that we have been very lucky in getting in almost £13.5 million from sell-on clauses in Fabregas and Vela, in circumstances we could hardly have imagined. Setting a precedent with small sides such as Toulouse may pay far more dividends in the future, than continual battle of wits with the big guns.

So, Arsenal have been scouting norwegian goalie Ørjan Nyland, who plays for Molde FK. Several other clubs from the Premier League/ Bundesliga have been represented during the season so far as well.

Jim Solbakken, his agent, says 'Ørjan have been playing on a high level consistently for a while now, and there is great interest. At the moment, I cannot make any comments on these matters'

Even though it seems unlikely we'll make a move, we ARE in for a goalie, aren't we?

Just thought I'd post this, as it's not something we read about in English newspapers.

On another note: AWESOME WC SO FAR :) :) except for Roy opting to put Liverpool on the pitch. That was a boner move.

Cheers Y'all

{Ed002's Note - I have explained where there is interest. IN terms of actual offers being made, Marshall and Aurier are the obvious ones.}

Arsenal agree a five contract with aurier as wenger closes in on remy and holds talks with baloteli representatives

Believable22 Unbelievable7

Ed two questions, first- has arsene met with balotelli agent and had discussions over a move? Second- Is Napoli interested in balotelli?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Mino Raiola is now in Brazil and has already spoken to another club representative about Mario Balotelli and is planning on speaking to Mr Wenger when time allows (Wenger being tied up with his part time job most of the time.}
