Are there any more reserves fixtures left or is the season done for them now? We're sending out Aneke and Afobe on loan for the rest of the season...that's two of our best players gone. Watt's already away and we sold Freeman, who is going to attack for us?

Park and chamack?

Agree0 Disagree0

How can it be Park and Chamakh when they're on the bench for the firsts?

Agree0 Disagree0

Chamakh and park surely lol?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its great expeirence for them to be playing proper league football then playing in the reserves
big dickey

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely this is good news! they get proper first team experience and younger guys can come through and start mixing it with some first teamers!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty sure our reserves never do that well in there leagues anyway. or do they?

Agree0 Disagree0

They are 2nd at the moment and have been 2nd in the last two seasons, so not bad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't get me wrong it's amazing for those players! I am just a bit surprised that so many attacking players have gone at the same time I suppose. Question: do you think Watt has an Arsenal future?

Agree0 Disagree0

To answer your question I'm pretty sure that the reserve season ends about a month and a half earlier than the EPL season. Just saw a headline on another website that suggested that so not possitive.

Matt

Agree0 Disagree0

There are only two more reserve games left, the last of which is on 10th April.

With Saturday another must win game, will AW persist with the off the pace, inaffective Ramsey or put Rosicky back in the centre and unleash the OX?

FAB

Believable24 Unbelievable10

2 reasons why the ox will start; 1- hes going to of had 12 days rest since his last game.
2-we are at home and dont need to be cautious.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to release the Ox.

Essexgooner

Agree0 Disagree0

The amazing Oxlade-Chamberlain!

Next best league player I think gotta start and finish the game

CS

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, Ramsey is not 1st team choice, too slow, plays backwards, release the OX...

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Ramsey is not 1st team choice, he lacks pace and really slows the game down but i still think he can be turned in to an Arsenal star, remember this is his 1st season since his leg break so lets see if he steps up a gear next season. I would put the Ox back in the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

How come Ramsey gets more support in a hospital bed than he gets when on the pitch! Give the kid a chance he is better than all of you supposed fans are giving him credit for. Support the bloody team.

In Arsene I Trust

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramsey was the right choice for everton game - pack up the midfiled a bit and get him some playing time - maybe should have released the ox second half but we won so yeah

Ox for start on sat though!

It is Afobe who has gone on loan.

Bermy Gooner

Believable12 Unbelievable3

Benik Afobe has joined Championship high-flyers Reading on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old will team up with Brian McDermott™s side as they look to continue their push for promotion to the Premier League.

This will be Afobe™s first taste of Championship football and follows a successful loan stint at Huddersfield Town last season where he found the net eight times in 36 appearances across two spells, helping the Terriers to the League One play-off final.

A regular England youth international, Afobe has featured four times for the reserves this term, having recently returned from a lengthy injury lay-off. He also got his first taste of first-team action during pre-season, coming on as a late substitute against Cologne before making his home debut against New York Red Bulls in the Emirates Cup.

Afobe, who joined the Arsenal Academy aged just eight, signed professional terms with the Club in February 2010 and extended his contract in June 2011.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Benik the best of luck during his time with the Royals.

I think it's a great deal

Agree0 Disagree0

I find it hilarious how someone has disagreed this is fact not opinion, it's like disagreeing that arsenal are best team in the world.

Neymar apparently is going to Barca. I think even if we were ever interested in him, there would be no way to afford his transfer or his high wage demand. No doubt is a quality player though.

Cadena SER radio reported that the club has already paid $18.3 million of the total $73 million transfer fee to the 20-year-old's Brazilian club Santos.

Apparently he would only move after the Brazil world cup in 2014.

Believable11 Unbelievable3

Woah, His contract expires in 2014 so why would Barcelona pat $73 million when they could get him for free.

I was under the impression that he was moving in 2013 for around Ł40 million. As the Brazil manager said he wants Neymar to play in Europe before the world cup so he can get used to it.

The Santos president and the Barca president also agreed on this, it was on Revista la liga around a month ago.

has anyone noticed we always play s**t when ramsey plays? or is that just me...

Believable33 Unbelievable23

F*** off! leave the kid alone, jesus even when we are winning people are getting at the young players, remember he is only 22.

Agree0 Disagree0

Invariably yes !!

Agree0 Disagree0

What like beating Everton away?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lay off Ramsey when wiltshires back will you slaughter him as well if he struggles to find his form?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just you pal, how about you give in giving the guy stick and support him. It is fans like you, constantly slating players, that cause slumps in confidence and morale. The team is on an unbeaten run, stop acting like a person and support the TEAM that we all love.

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree with 1st point. It doesn't matter that he is only 22 he is a terrible player and has been since we signed him

Agree0 Disagree0

He's been terrible since he signed for us?!

What?

He was 10 times the player Wilshere was before his injury. Doesnt surprise me though, some people on here think Mertesacker was a good buy?

If your goin to play the game that way then I'll say this....

Last 6 games, no Mertesacker, we've won them all. If you use you assumption against Ransey then I'll hit you with that one back every time.

Ramsey and walcott should both be sold while they still have their value. They are sub par peiod...imagine if we had someone like arjen robben playing in theo's spot...it would increase attacking productivity big time!

scooby dooby K

Agree0 Disagree0

Imagine if we had C. Ronaldo in Theo's spot!

Stl Gooner

Give the guy a break. before he broke his leg the guy was becoming a top player. There is a lot right with him and he will develop given time. If he scored each time he had a chance in a game you would all be calling him a world beater. He will get better and will score goals, he is still getting back into the team after the injury. And on the same line Mertsacker is a far better player than he is being given credit for. Pace is not everything. He improved how defence overnight when he came......now Djourou that is another story.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is it with people getting on ramseys back?! he had a decent game! , do some of you even go to the games?

Agree0 Disagree0

In a team that plays a slow tempo controlling passing game, pace is not everything. Im more worried by gervinho than ramsey. I dont think he's good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

'we play terrible with Ramsey in the team' we just beat everton at goodison where Chelsea, tottenham and even man city have lost. As third choice centre back I would take mertesacker every day of the week. I do agree that maybe Gervinho has not been as effective as we all wanted but as the teams confidence grows I can see him getting better. Still going to chant all their names though.

In Arsene I Trust.
