Ed002, do you know if we are pushing for aouar. I saw you said City were interested as a second choice in the MC group. can't see us trumping up the money for him but one can only dream.

Seriously what is your problem ed002, why is everything a hassle. You come across as if you literally hate being asked questions and that begs another question. Why do you bother being on here if it clearly irritates you this much to reply to peoples perfectly acceptable questions?

I actually had to start an account to get this off my chest.

Keep up the abuse and all that’s gonna happen is he will stop editing the arsenal page and it will be editors like me who have no inside knowledge on anything Arsenal answering you’re questions. I know which I’d prefer.

DT mate, Ed002 gets numerous questions and sometimes questions which he has answered gets asks again. I’m guilty of this myself (he actually got annoyed at me last week lol) but he’s a great guy. Him and ed001 take the time to share knowledge which they know and it’s very respectable.

Just to point out I was the poster and I am perfectly happy with Ed's response. I understand that it takes time to trawl through the numerous questions and whilst some answers seem abrupt, they are perfectly good responses.

Mate, the Eds don't get paid for this, and ed002 like 666 said, has inside knowledge so we are lucky he is happy telling us what he knows. It must be very frustrating being asked the same questions day in day out.

Long time reader, but have never posted before. I felt the need to post just to condemn the idiocy of that comment. Ed002 provides more detailed and higher quality info than any media source, and purely out of courtesy. It is only when posters pose questions which are non-sensical or repetitive that responses are more terse. It can surely be annoying to deal with fans’ persistent questioning yet general lack of knowledge of the business/ legal side of the sport.

In the context of this post, what more do you want? Aouar is a player whose quality has been known for years and recently shown on the biggest stage of club football. If you need more details as to why Arsenal won’t be signing him this summer, you need to come to terms with the reality of the club’s current standing.

Yankee, as I said above, I am the original poster and did not have a problem with ed002's responses, that was someone else. I don't need to ask anything further with regards to aouar.

{Ed0666's Note - I will not attempt to dispute that piece of wisdom Malaga, when it comes to cerebral capabilities I was definitely at the back of the line when they were handing that out...But I was knowledgeable enough to support a football team that wins trophies from time to time and I can allocate my Thursday nights to doing something far more productive than watching arsenal play on Channel 5 or the Dave channel 😍😘

Hey Groger, apologies if it came across that my post was directed at you - your question was reasonable and of
course well within your right to ask (after all we can always hope these caliber of players will come) . My reply was solely in response to DT’s comment. Nothing wrong with asking questions, but Ed answered in a reasonable manner, and I don’t think it takes any in-depth analysis to explain why Aouar won’t be coming to us this summer - same reason we won’t be getting Sancho, Havertz, etc.
