Apparently Emmanuel Frimpong is going to be loaned out to QPR until january, cant see why to be honest, i think he could be great cover for song and would get pitch time.

Hello Ed i have to say Jagielka is a must sign in my book, so much better than Cahill, Samba and our own Djourou and Squillaci.Him alongside Kozza with TV as the defensive midfielder looks very good to me.but ive this horrible feeling we will make perhaps 2 signings (Jenkinson and another), hope im wrong.Our outgoing players dont seem to attract any offers at all which is also very worrying.One last point i like to make is if we are going to undermine Chesneys confidence by signing another goalie let it be worthwhilei.e.Steklenburg, Macgregor or even Pepe Reina and not Schwarzer or Given cheers Ed
. {Ed022's Note - I have to respectfully disagree with calls for TV5 to be made into a defensive midfielder. I understand it in a way but I think he's our best centre back hands down and thats where we need him. I do agree with you about Jagielka though.. I think he is very good and very underated. I also think he will be £3-5m cheaper than quotes for Cahill which might make him right up Arsene Wenger's street...}

I am hearing rumours from a couple of the back room team at the Emirates, that Wenger is hot on the trail of Samuel Eto. And that the deal could involve Nasri.

ED022 any news on gervinho? the deals taking its sweet time. {Ed022's Note - Well due to the window not being open for us to sign players outside England, nothing will happen until July 1st...at the earliest. Things can be "agreed" but we won't see him posing for photos in an Arsenal shirt before then...}

Dortmund interested in Bendtner, but £12M valuation is way off what they are prepared to offer - and then there's his wages to consider...

Bendtner will have to decide whether its greed or ambition that motivates him. Interest from Dortmund could open the possibility of a deal for CB Mats Hummels though with Bendtner as a makeweight. Especially as the Samba and Cahill deals are looking as though they will be more complicated (and costly) than first realised.

Barton and Parker are smokescreens/media guff. There could be some truth in the Daily Mail's story for Cissoko though.

The sale of Ashley Young for £17m means that the rumoured '£8-10m' deal to get Nasri on the cheap has been rubbished! If Young (also in his final year) can fetch £17m, then Utd would have to start negotiating for Samir at £20m+.

As for Ryo Miyachi - expect to see him join the Gunners on their summer tours but after the Emirates Cup he's likely to go back to Holland with FC Twente, Ajax and Feyenoord all keen to take him on another season long loan (work permit details).

No deal will be done for a keeper this summer, so forget the Stekelenburg rumours. Szczesny will start the season as No.1 with Fabiaski as his reserve. Either Mannone or Shea will be included in the official squad (both are classed as homegrown players). Almunia will be sold - Villareal and Atletico Madrid could be interested.

Ed, is it true that we are back in for Jagielka, or is it just paper talk? Cheers.

JH. {Ed022's Note - Wenger is a massive fan and has said so himself on several occasions. Only sticking point would be valuation (as usual) Wenger won't pay over the odds for players no matter how much he rates them. To think we missed on Cristiano Ronaldo over a few million...}

Ed, can you see Wenger bringing in a high profile, big name player this summer?

Ben

{Ed022's Note - My fingers and toes are crossed Ben. I must admit I have a sneaky feeling that Wenger will sign a marque player. However, im not stupid enough to second guess him on who. Too many "obvious" names being banded about. Its a case of wait and see I'm afraid...}

The rumours about Moussa Sissoko are beginning to pick up with the Times today reporting today that we are monitoring him. Also, rumours regarding Clichy to Liverpool are starting up again although I would'nt want him to move to a potential title rival and I doubt Wenger would as well. Another story that has came out today in the Daily Mail is one that we are going to continue or even further our pursuit of Evertons Centre Back Phil Jagielka.
But away from transfers what does everyone think about young Ryo Miyiachi? Shall we loan him out to further his development for next season or shall we keep him to compete for a place?
Will like to hear everyones opinions on this!
Thanks
Harry

{Ed022's Note - We may need to loan Miyiachi to Feyernood again this season to help with securing his work permit. Feyernood are deciding whether they would like to.} I feel apart from pre-season, it will be unlikely we will see much of him}
