I am a regular reader on here, and this is my first post.

I have heard from a friend, who is a steward at the club, so I know its not exactly itk. lol,
but, he has heard from people around and about, that Rooney is still on the radar. I would love this to be true.

Also, Malaga, you really make me laugh. lolol

If and if Rooney is leaving he'll be going to Chelsea not to us.

I also think the Rooney situation is not completely dead in the water for Arsenal. I think it could go down to Rooney making a choice between us or staying as Manchester United will NOT sell to Chelski. Another sticking point could be the wages.

Benzema to be signed Tuesday, Flamini imminent, more signings to follow, probably to be announced early the following week, Di Maria will be one of those.

That's amazing we have not even spoken to Real Madrid yet one of their players is signing by Tuesday - how are negotiations conducted? Do we just post rumours in newspapers that we are interested and then some player turns up on Tuesday?

We have not enquired about his availability - it is all supposition. I'm not certain that the price being touted by Real Madrid of £34m is value apart from sating a few fans desire for a name.
I am certain arsenal will not bid.

Yeah I have heard this too. I said the same thing yesterday on here, Di Maria and Benzema are big players, o ay availability with them will bring in other teams, and that as we know usually send Arsenal in the other direction. Not sure I believe in either of the teams stated though, to me neither of them reall need that type of player, unless United want to play him through the middle? Coming from Marca, this looks to me like another Higuain saga al over again and we know what happened there!

Also to note though, Wenger said yesterday the players he wants have said they want to come also, Di Maria wants to stay as does Benzema, so make of that what you will.

Agreed- if either club are in for di maria, we're screwed.

I can only presume people don't believe those clubs are interested, which is fair enough, but as for your comment people must realise we will not compete on wages or at least realistically we're not as an attractive prospective right now.

If Di Maris is 34mil, I would go for otzil at 38mil but I still reckon menez from PSG, Mata would be better and cheaper
