As happy as I'd be if that happened, I think it's just his agent, drumming up interest.

Cavani cost Napoli something like £25m from Palermo, so his fee now would be well into the £35m region, and I just don't see it.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the new emirates deal, along with the impending Adidas deal, will see a turnaround in our spending style, but I just don't see it.

this whole saga with theo's contract needs to be sorted asap. it's clear that he wants to stay so get his contract sorted asap. another thing i read today that gazidis has said there'll be additional funds.
( we've heard this before ) i've said this before but i seriously don't get why loads of people on here are thinking we'll sign the likes of cavani, fellani,baines and huntelar in january. the only players we'll probably get is thierry on loan and possibly zaha from palace.i hope i'm wrong. the only way i see us buying big names is if we had usmanov buy out the yanks and have david dean sorting out the transfers and contracts.
