Ok.... Remember guys it was I who broke the news about Kaka 2 wks ago and now its being reported all over the world..WELL, I have an update.

Kaka "loan" deal, Arsenal want Real Madrid to pay 25% of his wages. IF they agree its a deal and he will join for a season.

Ok...well kaka is reportedly on about 150k, so 25% will bring it down to about 110k, which meets arsenal's wage structure- could be plausible this.

Oh how i hope this is true sooo much. Cant see it though...lets see.

Last night we were Quality, was well pleased with Jenkinson (looked very composed under pressure) and Frimpong (an out and out Beast) would love to see Frimpong and big Chris Samba in the same team. A few days left to replace the players that have run away from the battle to hide amongst more talented players so would love to see Sneijder at Old Trafford playing for us. COYG

I have just had a text from a freind of mine who is a Lyon supporter,saying that french radio this evening are saying that a fee for Eden Hazard has been agreed between Arsenal and Lille,and personal terms tomorrow.

Ask your friend for the name of the radio station. gotta be more specific.

We have heard this 50 times before, its always tomorrow, well tomorrow it will be the next day, stop posting things that arent going to happen

Anybody else think we should spend big on Darren Bent. He is a 20 goals a season striker even for the rubbish mackems lol. Click believable if you agree and the other if you dont

He is a very good player but not worth 25mil+

Is villa would sell he would be a top signinig in IMO.

Would really like Wenger to sign Keisuke Honda, he looks like a quality player in the middle of the pitch as can move forward and drop deep for cover. He also can play for cover down the flanks similar to Arshavin. CSKA have said they won't accept bids of less than £12M which I reckon if we offered £15M it may be feasible? Only problem is attracting him over the likes of Spanish giants which he says he'd prefer or the likes of Man City What does everyone think??

We have too many attacking players, we need to concentrate on strikers and defenders

Marvin Martin subbed out in 54' as Sochaux losing badly. A sign he'll be heading to the Emirates (so he doesn't get further injured)? Or simply a mercy substitution (being on a yellow)?

The clock is ticking, wenger has been given false hope from last nights win. Dont expect many big signings, it's either AW or the board who are being misely.

Yes the clock is ticking...butit hasn't stopped. I really expect some signings, may be even on the last day, but pretty sure we'll see a few.

We neede the signings before the season started, not when we potentially are 8 points behind already - Wenger and Gazidas have dithered and delayed, making low bids then looking shocked when they are rejected. I seriously beleive Wenger will not spend a penny more, despite our obvious failings

M'Villa to sign by sunday.
My thought is that Rennes wanted to keep him for the re-match against Crvena Zvezda, and that's ok because if we hadn't qualified for CL he would have been cup-tied for Arsenal.
Just watched the Rennes-C.Zvezda game, and I can tell you this guy is great Perfect-inch passes, good composure and control of the ball, athletic player who has fantastic vision and awareness on the pitch. I couldnt say if he's worth 22mil right now, but definitely a player that can have a good Arsenal future ahead of him.
Plus, he was always on the screen, probably the director of the live match coverage was aware of the future transfer (:

Is he cup tied or not? Your post is not clear on it.

Seems a decent player, not as creative and skillful as Fab or Nasri but a good passer and keeps the play moving along nicely. Can tackle and defends pretty well, a good DM option I think. Certainly a Wenger style Buy.

He is NOT cup-tied, cause he played the Europa League qualifiers, and we play in the Champions League now. He would only be cup-tied if we finish 3rd in our CL group and drop into Europa League knock-out stage...

Please people stop expecting wenger to buy anyone. You keep expecting him to sign players and he won't. That's what the row with Van Persie was over. He has threatened to quit next summer if wenger doesn't change his transfer policy. We will keep losing our best players until Wenger changes his policy, or leaves.

Laurent Koscielny has been named in France's squad for next month's Euro 2012 qualifiers against Albania and Romania

I think this shows just how far he has come in the past year under Wenger. There is still mroe to come too

Saying that, we still need a new CD, Metersacker would be my number 1 choice at the moment.
Raul Albiol is another player who could potentially be available at a reasonable price. He is slightly out of favour at Madrid at the moment and I feel would get in to the team ahead of Koscienly. He can also play right back. Sagna has proven he is adaptable enough to play left back, and obviouly TV5 too so He could be a good signing

Sagna struggled against Udinese through no fault of his own, to suggest he could play 'more often' as a left back is football suicide. Why buy someone who could fill in at RB (Albiol) when we have Sagna and now Jenkinson rather than buy a natural LB like Baines?

I would love to see a proper left back come in. All im saying is, if we did buy Albiol we would have gibbs first choice LB, Vermailen and Traore ascover with Sagna in an Emergency. Still with Albiol and Koscienly in CD with Jenkinson on the right. It gives a bit of versatility.

Was just plannin there group for them: barca, ac n dortmunt would be nice for them, or barca in 1st knock out stage but that would mean we have to ge there too.

He is returning to fitness and looked good recently in the cup games with barca- commercially, shirt sales would be good...a risk, but one that may just work out. wages could be a problem though

May have to take a wage cut but he could slot into the CAM position in a 4-2-3-1 formation nicely, plus hes 6'1 so he has some height, if we dont replace cesc then its definetely worth the gamble

Yann M'Vila - 18-22 Million
He will give Arsenal the sting we need in the midfield as him and Song will grow a fantastic partnership. Shows a quality of a captain

Cahil - 16 Million
Exactly what we need at the back A big British Center back as he is class. Not affraid to get stuck in.

Zarate - 10 Million
Will provide great back up/ great partnership with RVP. Very good finisher and shows that he is the last peice of the puzzle for the attack.

Hazard - 25 - 30 Million
Very fast. skillful, good finisher and good awarenese. will be a great buy.

Vertegohn - 10 Million
Plays like Vermalen will swhow a great determination and willingness to win games also will be perfect partner for TV5. We will bring in him or Cahil, personally i will be happy with either

I have just read that Man U are hoping to lure Nasri away from City even though they've agreed a deal, the deal's been done, and he's already given his 'welcome to the club' interviews and had his meet and greet. This is when you know you should NEVER pay attention to anything in the papers. Jesus.

just back from udines. Firstly so proud of you boys. Schezzathat save is the best pen save i have seen. Jenks you will be a legend but Rosicky was immense We have unity we were a team last night now that nas and fabregas have gone well done boys.
Reason for posting there were guys on the plane home that have told me that there are 2 midfielders who have agreed terms subject to qualification.... they are Lucas and Cavani (i thought he was a striker but there you go)

Cavani is a brilliant striker and would thus cost �30+ million and correct me if I'm wrong but I though he had been on loan at Napoli from Palermo last season and the deal was only made permanent at the end of the season.

Lucas from sao paolo i would think although knowing wenger it'll be the liverpool one Yeah Cavani signed long term contract at Napoli about 4 months ago so will take massive money to get him

There is no way Arsene will buy 3/4 players in the next week (I believe we need these 1 Def, 1 Mid, 1 winger & 1 striker)

The best we can hope for is a defender as we only have 3 CB's and need a fourth. I would expect Dann from Birmingham as he is the cheapest option and will be back up.

A bid of around £23m has been made for hazard and arsenal have contacted m'villa's agent to discuss his move......zarate has no chance and arsenal has pulled off and now they r interested in montolivo.......cissokho has been convinced to move to emirates.....dont xpect a striker becoz if rvp gets injured, then theo would play upfront.......

Cissokho is cup tied so there is no chance of him signing.

COBBLERS-GOONER........ Hazzard deal is still alive...... Arsenal and Lille have a great relationtionship and things have been played down so that no one else comes in to "nick" him (Mata comes to mind)........ expect news of a CB, DM and either a 2nd CM or an AM to be announce very soon..................... It was good to see a performance last night worthy of calling great. Schzeney was brillinat, and as all have said before, an amazing penalty save, and it was also nice to see Theo playing well too, Rosicky had a great 2nd half, battled well and did a lot of work, but Jenkinson...... well, for a young kid and being thrown in at the deep end like that, i raise my glass to you... AWESOME PERFORMANCE, future England star.

Jenkinson is Under 21's Finland captain. He's not decided which country he wants to represent yet (His mother is Finnish btw) so dont count on him being a future England star just yet

Hope you don,t mind me disagreeing with you,but I don,t think Theo played very well at all apart from scoring the goal.This season so far,his movement has been very poor and he seems so retiscent to take people on.I was screaming at the telly last night for him to play with width and pace.Very poor performance in my opinion.

Jenkinson has not said he will play for England if called up. His exact words when asked if he'd represent Engalnd rather than Finland are:

"I haven't made my mind up on that yet," he said in the Daily Express.

"It's something I will speak to my family about when the time comes."

I'm merely pointing out that it's not a dead cert and depends on what he feels is his nationality

if arsenal really want hazard this window we will have to pay over the odds (for a change) nearer 40mill euros. more to convince lille to sell now. if we dont and he stays at lille for another year then next summer man city will buy him.

Wenger's smile on canal plus suggests we are definitely in for Hazard.

Zarate a very direct striker with great shot on him - exactly what we need. Suggestions inter may be in for him unfortunately. We will see.

Mail is reporting a loan bid for Kaka was dismissed in the hope he could be sold on to someone for about 17.5m. Big wages would come with him I know but, as a former world player of the year, perhaps he could be an exception to our usual structure, also imagine what a lift it would give to the whole team but especially the youngsters. Still a v.good player, would be a great statement of intent and is a definite possibility.

Can't wait to see what happens; I suspect wenger will abandon old approach somewhat since he is bidding on a DM (M'vila), despite fact we already have two top players for that spot. He would have seen that as overkill in the past.
