I hope it's not true, but it's rumoured that coquelin is stalling on signing a new contract he wants to see if he still gets first team football until the end of the season.
This would be a bad move IMO as he has been with us for a long time, been extremely well paid and taken longer to develop than expected. Surely his new deal will be a pay rise and the fact that he is being offered one means he is in AW's future plans.
Sign the deal Coq ask Flamini, he will tell you where you are best off!

According to ssn the Gabriel Paulista deal is done. Fee believed to be in the region of £11.2 million with Joel Campbell joining Villarreal as part of the deal. Eds, any idea if Wenger is looking at any forwards? With Podolski, Sanogo and now Campbell going out, we look a bit light up top no?!

Ed02 did say at the start of the window he was certain that all 3 of those guys would not be allowed to leave. Maybe with Theo and Ozil coming back, Wenger feels he has enough. No ball winning midfielder either then Ed's?

{Ed001's Note - well as I don't drink, I will ignore your inability to do maths and think it is £15m that has been spent. Obviously you have forgotten all the other costs plus that wages are also counted in his transfer budget, making it a totally different figure of near double that amount.}

never seen paulista play, let's hope he can do a decent job, be a great cover and help out our defense.
it does not matter about budget, we got a player, and hopefully we can improve in the summer and buy a DM now.
if that means we needs to sell 3-4 players to buy one, so be it.
