Has there been any interest in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as he only has one year left on his contract? He may be 31 but a real centre forward.
{Ed002's Note - At the end of last season I would have said that Huntelaar would be high on the list of options. The player wants a move to England and there was an enquiry from Liverpool. Might be a good shout over Remy or Bony - it will be interesting to see what happens.}
Why don't we just recall Afobe from mk dons better than what we currently have. Much better.

Im not sure if we are looking for any strikers now that Giroud will be unable to play for us for a significant amount of time, but if we are looking or showing interest in players perhaps a few names of targets would be appreciated.
also Ed you did mention the situation on Khedira would be better known by the weekend, i'm guessing better known to you and not the general public, if you could divulge the situation could you let us know please. Unless its as Ancelotti has stated that he will stay on and leave on a free.
{Ed002's Note - That was dealt with last week but in summary Real Madrid have given commitments to Khedira and they expect him to stay - but they would like him to sign a one year extension to his contract. He probably won't. They are still expecting a bid from Bayern Munich this week. Arsenal has moved on.}

{Ed002's Note - Sporting need to raise some money and are looking to sell Carvalho. Lowering the asking price would certainly encourage teams to look again at him and certainly Arsenal are looking for agreement over his transfer. It is about money.}

Arsene Wenger could be set for a huge blow, with L'Equipe journalist Bruno Constant reporting that Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has sustained a broken foot that will rule him out of action for three months.
I happen to believe Giroud is a good striker and only needed a fast clinical player next to him to look amazing, a Wrighty type running on to Giroud's knock downs would have been devastating to any team.
Let's hope we get a world class replacement in now and wish Giroud a speedy recovery in the meantime
