Hi guys, thought I'd give you a quick comment on the Cazorla twitter stuff.
Basically, Yahoo and caught offside reported that Cazorla had said he was happy at Malaga.
This is essentially terrible, terrible journalism.
It's widely accepted that santi Cazorla doesn't have a twitter account, mainly because there's none that are marked official.
But for arguments sake, let's say that is his official account and he just hasn't registered it.
That line, is his tag line, the little bit about you that you put on twitter, it is not a tweet, that account hasn't been used since like the 8th of July.
So for those thinking it spelt the end of any possible deal, disregard any of that from "his" twitter account.
Just believe what you read on Arsenal.com.

I have been led to believe there will be 3 bits of news in the next 2 weeks.
1. The signing of S.Cazorla
2. The signing of M.Niang
3. RVP to sign a 2 year extension at AFC
Hope this is true

Nearly had me believing till got to the rvo to sign? Im the die hardest arsenal fan and wud rather us buy no one else and keep rvp. But when will people realise rvp is going? Its more obvious than fab and nasri. He is training with the players all for sale eg bentner etc. hasnt gone on tour, hasnt been given a shirt number and has been removed from all club shop, promotions and official website. Gooners need to wake up. Even i there was 10% chance of staying he wud be on the tour with friendlies. NB
I've only ticked "believable" because I hope it's true.
I have also being hearing from loads of my friends that RVP is going to sign 2 year deal
just talk I know, but I think there may be something in it..
Spain Gooner
All of that is ture apart from rvp never gonna happen mate

I'll be very pleased if/when Cazorla signs, not that bothered about Niang. for some reason i very much doubt RVP will sign a new 2 year contract wih us, and i think he will never be treated the same again. For me he has lost a lot of respect. The situation is a very tricky one.

I've been lead to believe my house is on fire, does that make it true? Possibly not, considering I'm in my house at the moment.
Anyways, your first 2 points were believable, but I had to stop reading after that.
First 2 possible but 3rd.......just can't see it
I have heard just the same exept rvp. i heard wenger might sel im january, but if arsenal has had a exeptional start of the season rvp could sign a new deal in january.
What uve done is taken that news of news now arsenal, what a load of c,rap its not realy grounde breaking stuff
100% rvp doesnt stay... It will drag on like cesc/nasri saga..RJ
Maybe 2 out 3... namely points 1 and 2, cant see point 3 happening- but I guess you never know.
Maybe the two transfers but not RVP
I do believe his going but untill his gone nothing is for defenate could still be hope
Rvp is as good as gone just a matter of time
suprised that arsenal aren't going just for youth players this year
I don't see RVP staying, but I'd love it if he does. All those people telling him to shove off will dance with joy if he does sign.

Well Wenger had been promising all season long that Arsenal would spend at least 50m this summer, so I doubt you'd be able to empty your coffers by buying 17 and 18 year olds
Rvp has a shirt number and is lined up in the new list of numbers on arsenal.com! He has the bo. 10! This list was published a few days ago! Get your facts right before posting bs!(to the guy who posted the first answer)
RVP has made his bed - he needs to apologies to the fans before he can sign ....
If we finish weith the following signings - Cazorla, Mvila, Niang, Padolski, Giroud and a RB I think RVP will sign on. United really need to invest as their squad is not great either
We dnt need rvp get rid whilst we still can get money for him. hes gettin on abit
Rvp has refused to sign another contract but the others i am not sure about.

Malaga local press reporting Santi Cazorla has handed in a transfer request. Could be a matter of time.

Im just baffled all this stuff is happening in malaga...
where is malaga gooner?
Does he not know what goes on in his background?
He's quite reliable otherwise with all the info.
He said hazard would come and come he did by joining chelsea...
ok perhaps the players join the wrong teams but atleast he gets the names...this time around no name especially from malaga.
Baffling. I think i might just quit football now.
Make of it what you will... But I heard Malaga gooner is his translator
Danny
Make of it what you will but a Spanish eagle told me Malaga gooner is cazorlas agent and father

Cazorla in London with Richard Law (speaks Spanish), having medical etc. Announcement die early next week. Explains Wenger's good mood! Two more on the way, from what I hear.
Let's hope so my friend.
Crikey our medical must be tough if we're gonna announce he's gonna die next week !

We can all make things up....proof.....

With Wenger's tongue in cheek remarks & Arteta's comments, it sounds as though this deal is well advanced. With the exchange rate as it is, at £16m, Malaga get back what they paid for him.
This is a GREAT signing for us and he will light up the premier league! This is a done deal for sure as I heard a few days ago it was at a very advanced stage and things are starting to look VERY good for us gooners next season so RVP can jog on as I think Giroud is a quality striker who just keeps getting better and better.
AW is a legend in the game and is trying to do the best for our club as I believe he has Arsenal blood running through his heart!
Deano
They still owe the previous club lots of meny on him.
Agree with Deano , would be a great signing , lets just get behind the team and the manager , he has done so much for us .
Jumping the gun deano, don't forget arsenal are always definatley going to sign someone and it does't happen
JoshA
Bloody chelsea, got hazard and oscar and hazards brother and god knows who else...how are they managing all this with the Financial fair play coming about...they are close to spending 70 mill now and are still linked with some more players. {Ed035's Note - So what! Big price tags for these players who are unproven, I couldn't care less what players they sign. The policy at Chelsea seems to be if they cost a fortune they must be good
After years of our top players leaving due to the fact we are not ambitious enough, if this happens and with the signing already we are setting ourselves to challenge next season.
Jog on RVP.........
Not being funny ed but chelseas way seems to be working a lot better then arsenals does cause there winning trophys {Ed035's Note - I know that but this is the first transfer window in a long time when arsenal have conducted their business early and people are still worried about what Chelsea do. Granted they have won trophies, we are on a dry spell at the minute, it will all come good in the end. We are the arsenal are I am full sure we will win something this season}
Malaga owe 9m euros in tax...plus some of the players wages....most transfers are paid in instalments....one of the reasons we might get him is a one upfront payments...we have money.....just look at the lack of activity in spain....Madrid and barca are vey quite.....one major signing for the latter. The spanish banks cant afford to bankroll them any more......We are one of the few solvent clubs....km
I am not jumping the gun JoshA just makes sense if you knew how arsenal conduct themselves you would know that Judging by Arteta getting excited like a kid in a sweet shop about Cazorla and Wenger smirking like an old man has just got a date with some young hot chick with big t:ts after mentioning Cazorla is a great player just about says it all!
The only jumping I will be doing is for joy at the end of the season when we win some silverware which I BELIEVE we will be capable of doing with the signings Mr Arsene Wenger makes and Mr Steve Bould coaching the defence and the return of JW we Will be a force this season so get behind our great team and show your real colours fellow gooners!
Thanks
Deano

Make of it what you will
Billybob
Mertesacker said he was staying at Bremen two day's later he was having his medical at London Colney.
Make of it what you will...

I've been told it's a fake!
CheetahChaz97
Agreed - as I said, "make of it what you will"
He may be keeping things quiet, or he may be affirming his intent to stay...
Billybob
It's been there for a while now yet not even the tabloids have reported it which makes me think it's not his official account. 24k followers for a world famous footballer would be pretty pathetic.
Actually his most recent post is from the 8th July.
The excerpt that is being quoted seems to be more of a profile piece and has been there quite sometime... trash journalism at it's best!
It's a fake
Cazorla doesn't have twitter mate, as another point, the line they are using as evidence is actually his twitter tag line, put up as info about the player when the account was made
