fellow comments on this player from fellow fans plzz let your comments known... Dublin Gooner..btw sky sports news Commenting on the strong possiblility of Ronaldo and hiqeuin to Chelsea 80 million for both.. edds,, could this happen..

Believable2 Unbelievable10

If Ronaldo went to Real for 80m by himself, before becoming the first player to score 40 Liga goals in a season and the fastest Real player to 100 league goals, over 20 games faster than the legendary Ferenc Puskas, then he'd probably leave, by himself, for at least double that.

By the way, that last post was by me, Pakistan AFC. Have been lurking for the past year or so, decided to get in on the action myself, so I just wanted to say hello to all of my Arsenal brethren.

As I mentioned about Podolski... Raphael Honigstein has said on Sky Sports Germany that the deal is already done, pretty much in place.

The thing stopping either/both clubs making an announcement already is Koln's relegation battle...

Also just to point out, I didn't say I was banned from here, nor Twitter... Not by the parties in question anyway. I was banned AT WORK, from using these sites lol. Hope that clears it up! :)

=Miss Arsenal.

Believable24 Unbelievable3

Yup I think it's highly likely now what with all the fuss.

Nice work :) Hope it happens

Miss Arsenal - I thought that you had been banned by your other half whilst on holiday but thanks for clearing that up. The Poldolski news is really good, do you have any news on Suarez?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooray - out most reliable and realistic source has returned!

Welcome back miss arsenal! Have you heard much about the vela to real soc. permanent move rumours?

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey guys lol. Glad I don't anger everyone on here :)

Firstly to the person asking about Suarez... I've posted this before but IF it's going to happen then it'll be sooner rather than later, however the reports of a "Pre-Agreement" having been finalised as far as I'm aware, are way off the mark.

In regards to Billybob's question RE: Vela. Yes I have heard this although I've also heard there are other suitors, one in Italy... Although I wouldn't be so quick to judge Carlos not being back in the Red & White of Arsenal next season, however it is looking increasingly unlikely.

=M.A.

Agree0 Disagree0

While I would love to see Vela chip goalkeepers in the premiership week-in, week-out, I think sadly this is a player we have to accept will be better off in Spain. Type of player I see at Valencia/Villareal/Sevilla in a few years as a dangerous striker.

Either way, all positive news. I think the more loanee situations we can resolve early (Bendtner, Arshavin, Denilson), the better!

Billybob

PS. M.A - we are all patiently waiting for you to admit that you missed all of us too!

STEVEN NZONZI RUMOUR:

Steven N'Zonzi rumours gaining weight across various googleable internet sources...

What do we think Gooners?

Tall 24yr old Steven N'Zonzi has allegedly been targeted by Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea to sign in the summer, as he admits his time at Blackburn could be near finished.

He plays as a defensive midfielder, though can also play further forward as his passing range and vision has been compared to that of former Arsenal stalwart Patrick Viera (hmmm allegedly lol).

Personally; I think he is a good player who could be something more, and whilst Song and Arteta are both excellent for us neither is really an out and out defensive midfielder.

Perhaps he would be a decent signing, considering his age and range of ability and his attitude. Even during all the troubles we have seen at Ewood park he continues to keep his head down and impress.

If we signed him I would be pretty pleased though we don't have a direct need for him. Song for me isn't a defensive midfielder and if we had N'Zonzi infront of the back four Song's inability to stay disciplined wouldn't matter. He might even bag a few goals!

What is the consensus? The jury is out :) Sources into footballtalk, justarsenal, and various twitters.

CS

Believable15 Unbelievable17

I feel Song going forward is excellent. His vision is genius, but I do think because he has been stamped as the CDM he probably does have that doubt in the back of his head that he should not be too far up the pitch, and therefore feels a bit of pressure everytime he gets 'adventurous' and probably not showing how effective he could actually be further up the pitch. With a signing like N'Zonzi, someone who would literally sit in front of the 2 central defenders, Song would have more freedom and effectively less pressure to sit. Therefore more assists and hopefully some goals. I would rather M'Vila for this role but N'Zonzi is already used to the prem so I say sign him up.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love how the media Say Every tall lanky strong French midfielder is compared to viera!

But in response mate, I don't like him, he seems awkward and He loses his man at set pieces.

Give me mouassa sissokho any day!

Agree0 Disagree0

Also currently looking at:

Luc Castaignos
Striker, 18, Feyenoord
Often compared to Thierry Henry due his graceful, athletic style of play

Robert Hall
He only turned 16 in October but is at a club where many young players have been fast-tracked into the first team. At the age of 15 last summer, Hall was picked by Gianfranco Zola for the first-team squad that played summer friendlies

Heung-Min Son:
The number one prospect in the youth ranks of die Rothosen. Has already played, and scored, in the first team

Pavel Yakovlev:
Immensely talented, two-footed and a great dribbler, Yakovlev definitely has the potential to be one of the biggest stars of the next decade.

CS {Ed002's Note - Where are you getting all of this BS from - Javier Perez? Twitter? You should get in your time machine and put money on Castaignos leaving the Netherlands to move to Inter Milan. Are you easily embarrassed?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe N'Zonzi would be an excellent typically Wenger type signing. He has the physical presence to be a box to box midfield player in the Vieira mould. He wouldnt be too dear & would no doubt jump at the chance to play for Arsenal. He would be good back up for Song & a good player to play in mid-winter away matches against physical opponents. Next seasons teams could look like: - They are NOT 1st & 2nd teams!
Szczesny
Sagna Merte Vermaelen Gibbs
Song Arteta
Walcott Wilshere Gervinho
RVP

&

Fabianski
Jenkinson Djourou Koscielny Santos
Nzonzi Ramsey
Oxlade Rosicky Abu Diaby
Podolski

Plus others....

Agree0 Disagree0

Vertonghen is the man. he's an amazing cb and has been proficient as a cdm for Belgium at times. he seems to be the perfect player for us. cover for half our positions and not too highly priced. also frimmy and coq play cdm. young talented lads that need a little time to bleed in. M'vila is a top player don't get me wrong. just don't honestly think we'd need to spend 20m+ for him if we get Vertonghen at around 14m. especially with the talented kids we have

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002:

Would you just relax woman; I said "I am looking at" nobody else... And you know fine well I think Perez talks b0ll0cks as I always say he does and rubbish his daft rumours ie Del Piero

So thank you very much but it's not BS its my opinions! LOL always looking for trouble why is that

CS {Ed002's Note - You will let us know how you get on looking at Castaignos of Feyenoord. Man your posts are embarrassing.}

Agree0 Disagree0

So are many many others so why take a chunk out of me?

I am researching different players for the sake of discussion i'm not claiming we will sign anybody!

Wow hormones................Lol I just sent you a note i'm done publically arguing with you; that's more embarrassing than any posts on here!

CS {Ed002's Note - Nothing is more embarrassing than your BS about your gambling, your winning on a scare draw that wasn't your watching a player at Feyenoord or doesn't play for them. Certainly you have done a real great job of dragging down the Arsenal page with your multiple personalities and general BS.}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED002- you need to take a chil pil or be subtituted.
KJ {Ed002's Note - Just curring away the gangrenous parts.}

Agree0 Disagree0

M'vila anyday

Agree0 Disagree0

NZonzi has some quality but nowhere near enough to be an arsenal player. If he was as good as he was at say 19 then fine I'd consider it for its merits but the lads a man now, he's terrible if you consider his age.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coquelin is nearly and will soon be better than any other player we've listed on this page, including M'Vila.

Fernando Llorente

Check him out, plays for Bilbao in Spain - friend of mine over there says he has been trying to get away and sign for a Premier League club; perhaps we should go in for him?

Good solid midfielder, technically very good, scores decent amounts of goals, good injury record, very good passer of the ball and most importantly:

Doesn's support Barca lol and doesn't like talking to the press!

What do we think? Rated £30M like Gotze, recently destroyed Man U in the Europa, Spurs last season before that and loads of spanish sides each week.

If not Gotze I definitely want this fella!

Sources:

Google search / Wikipedia / / club websitesCS {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is interesting Spurs, PSG and Manchester City. Barcelona are considering their future options which may involve a move for the player. He is a striker not a miodfield player.}

Believable9 Unbelievable15

As ed said, his a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

I have a funny feeling he means javi martinez?

Agree0 Disagree0

No I mean Fernando Llorente;

Plays striker but similar to howWalcott and Oxlade-Chambo will end up as strikers, he started his youth career in midfield and was moved up.

I think he could show those two a thing or two about goalscoring and score some himself too.

Obviously I don't think we will sign him but this is perhaps the type of player we should look at;

Good age to be useful and improve the team but isn't going to hinder the progress of our young players. By the time they are ready he will be pushing 30.

Have a look at this goal and you will see Llorente's undeniable quality, have no idea where the midfielder thing came from he is an out and out striker if there ever was one.

Bilbao probably wont sell any of their sqaud...i have seen them play and they seem pretty good...
if the team sticks together they can defo challenge..

check out iker munian...amazing kid but as ed said they wont be selling any players

Agree0 Disagree0

Follow his youth career online, he played all over the field until he was 19-20ish.

Good player no doubt

CS

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente is a top forward, no doubt, but athletic Bilbao are a club of great heritage, they only take on players with basque blood in them (amoborieta plays for Venezuela, I think it's Venezuela....could of made a mistake! But that's from his fathers side, his mother is basque) that makes a lot of their players fiercely loyal, llorente and Martinez are being touted as potential movers according to the good old media, but while I see Fernando moving, maybe to spuds or maybe barca who really need a true number 9, we wouldn't buy him, he's not a player to our style.

D

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you talking about 'maye to spuds' for a true number 9 ? we have one of those do we ? spurs have got loads of them, they are rubbish, but they still have them. We dont have even 1 (unless park is the best kept secret ever) and this guy llorente would be perfect. Dont bash the idea, just because the name llorente doesnt look like the name podolski, which is all your fixated on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heheh that last one made made me laugh but I can't credit you because you didn't leave your nametag.

"Spurs have loads. They're all rubbish."

Lol.

Don't think we need another midfielder, really, unless it's a world-class attacking mid that can also play wing. How much better can we do than Wilshere/Song/Arteta with Rosicky, Ramsey, Frimpong, and the Coq as backup? Coquelin especially will be first team in 2-3 years and irreplaceable for France, I'm willing to bet. Unbelievably good and versatile too.

That said we do need a striker.

Believable32 Unbelievable6

Completely agree about Coquelin, he's looked comfortable every time he's played, even out of position!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yann M'villa would be an improvement in song defensively, I think the idea is to make song more like viera and have M'villa as a out and out cdm, Arteta is 30 now and as much as I like him, i really really do he was a panic buy, if we would decided to buy early, you wouldn't be seeing Arteta Mertesaker or santos (even though I quite like all 3

D {Ed002's Note - Inter Milan, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus have all shown a determined interest in M'Vila and perhaps PSG will become interested as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Song has been by and large more defensively minded than Arteta, yet contributes the highest successful through-ball rate in the premiership. I'd say with regard to impact on our league standings he's really pulled through for us and IMO there is not one team in the premiership that would not have him in their starting XI. He's world-class, simple as that

Agree0 Disagree0

Just my oppinion but id rather give coq a chance than pay 25m for m'villa

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely, once Wilshere & Abu Diaby are back we have a surfeit of qulity midfield/att midfield players: Song, Frimpong, Ramsey, Coquelin, Rosicky, Gervinho, Walcott, Ox, Arteta. Thats assuming we sell/dispose of Denilson, Lansbury, Arshavin, Benayoun. There may be room for one more midfield player, as Wenger may start to push Walcott into a more attacking role.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh you are right i would defiantly have him in my Midfield just not as CDM more of a cm so he can get forward as much as he likes and support the CDM. i dont think we should buy a new CDM i thingk we should let Frimpong or Coq have a chance, if were were to buy one though id fancy De Jong!
dan

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe Song to be one of our best players, and the best in his position in the league. M'Villa may be an improvement defensively, but Song can defend, attack, pass ad has league experience. Bringing in M'Villa would be a risk and when we already have Coq not really needed.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Wenger should do all he possibly can to persuade Gotze to come to Arsenal as I believe he has the potential to be Balon D'Or winner good.

Sydney Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup yup yup and yuuuup Gotze would be the signing of the season
