Hi edd is there any hope of cesc returning next season

Believable1 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so.}

And why exactly would he leave barcelona?

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be mad to come back as that would be such a massive step backwards. I actually fear for Arsenal now as we are an average team who have over-performed and the wheels have well and truly come off. Another heavy defeat at home on Saturday might finally see the end of AW.

Mj2763, As frustrating as this season is at this moment in time, we are certainly not an average team. We are only 8 points off of where we finished last year, and still have 7 games to go. We should finish in the top 4 again. This club is not moving backwards, as we will finish with a higher point total, we won't lose any star players, and have money to spend in the summer

@mj2763. An average team? Really? Oh yeah, all the average teams finish top 4 every year. They're all at it. Remember that time Stoke did it 8 years running? And remember the time that Samuel L Jackson was in grange hill? Come on, you are making yourself look stupid.
This year is set to be the 4th consecutive year that we will better the previous seasons points total. And we have our best opportunity in a decade to win a major trophy. We are not a team in decline and results prove it. And things will only improve now the stadium is paid off.

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure what is being said? All I know is that there is money there, a substantial amount of money to spend each window, but it is not being spent.}

You don't need an ED to tell you what is all over the net, papers, common knowledge.

Manager+board to blame for buying the trash that they buy.

If i'm not mistaken our net spend was 33 million, as we had sales, two players as Free agents, and Ozil. well done indeed, while the other 100 million accrues interest, and the fans pay through their wallets.

There's not that much money to spend and hasn't been for years. I'm baffled every time I see this.

Each and every one of us can go onto Arsenal Plc's site and read their books, see their finances, creditors and debts. You don't just look at the cash balance you look at how much they owe as well.

That cash balance figure is misleading as it's tied up with bonds and short-term investments that they need to generate income. Again all the figures are in the books.

Never rely on sport journalists to accurately interpret books. I'm a qualified accountant and read them every time they're released and can;t fathom how people think they've had money for the past few years.

Seriously everyone just go on the site and read the accounts. Do this everytime they're published. Don't just sit there and passively accept what people are telling you just to add their wider narrative.
